Hi everyone -time for thread 4 as we close in on 2 months on our journey!

Hey everyone well done on all the great losses!! Week 14 weigh in for me and it's another 2.5 lbs off taking me to 2st 1lb on mj and 4 stone 4lbs in total 🥳 Hope everyone has an awesome week 😊

Not moaning, but sometimes I do get fed up feeling so bloated all the time.
I know it is part of the way it works, but I'd like the food enjoyment again.
I'm trying to meal prep as working tomorrow then I've got Oasis on Wednesday. But I feel meal prepping is a real chore when you're bloated and have no real appetite!

Weight losses are great but the bloating is making me very tired.

Just saying it as I see it. Just got to get to the end of the year!

I know what you mean @Merlin23 . I've just had salmon, peas and potatoes for tea and I was very sad to leave the last two potatoes, they were delicious. The retraining yourself to eat proteins first is also challenging, I would have normally saved at least some of the salmon for last, but ate it first in case I didn't finish my (child size) portion.

I don't get too bloated thankfully, but honestly every time I eat I'm burping in a very uncouth and loud manner. I hope the chef (DH) takes it as a compliment!

It's so strange I do small portions but can't finish it.
Last night I had horrendous sulphur burps.
I'm going to go out for a walk tonight to see if that helps with the bloating.

I tend to get sulphur burps in the morning. Unpleasant to be able to taste food from the night before 🤢

They are such a horrible side effect
I know I could be suffering more but they are so unpleasant

I went on my extended holiday so haven’t injected for 4 weeks and put on 3.5lbs. I’m ok with that, it was my time of the month as well when I returned. I’ve reordered now and I’m ready to get back on it. Can I have some advice for a friend pls - they were going to take the bonus dose from a 5mg syringe, but want to take 2.5-3.75 dose. Is that still 0.6? Thanks!

I found this info (pic under review) so it looks like 0.4/0.5?

Welcome back! The bonus dose from any pen is the same strength as that pen. And one dose of any pen is always 0.6ml.

so if you want 2.5mg it’s half a dose of a 5mg pen = 0.3ml and if you want 3.75mg it wish be 0.45ml.

I was considering going up to 7.5 as I think the suppression is generally wearing off a bit with 5. But decided to stick at 5 , especially with holiday coming up.

in other news, as I haven’t talked about poo for a while (sorry, I know it’s early in the day for this) …. I forgot that the protein bars from Lidl give me horrendous stomach issues and ate one again on Monday.

then I remembered…..

So on Tuesday I had a big day in work that I needed to be totally on the ball for (think a long day in court , kind of thing) and was mortified as the last time I ate this protein bar I thought I was going to shit myself to death the next day!

well, up early Tuesday morning with awful cramps and the expected Poonami ensued. I got it out of my system a bit 😐 then took Imodium and hoped for the best. i was actually during the day, in the end.

now after having reintroduced immodium, I’m worried that I may never poo again.

there’s no happy medium it seems!!!!

@wlinewbie0425 - thank you for the code. I have stuck with Juniper since the beginning, but it is hugely expensive. My next pen (repeat order is automatically processed today) is £209 for a 5mg pen.

I’m seriously tempted to swap so tried medexpress but they wouldn’t let me get past the first page ☹️. Any pointers from recent swappers would be most gratefully received.

In other news - I’m back from holiday and have lost 2lbs in 3 weeks. Not too bad. This takes me to 2st 2.5lb loss. BMI is now 25.8 (from 31.2). I feel pretty good 😊

5mg is not as effective now, I’m definitely getting hungry and managing to drink more wine. I was going to move up to 7.5mg for my new pen but I missed the cut off. 4 weeks of willpower incoming 🤞

Sorry for spamming! When I said “now it will let me”, I meant MN will let me post photos - not that medexpress will let me order. I still can’t get past the first page - “We don’t have a suitable treatment for you.”

@AbundanceofKatherinesi read on reddit that MedExpress don’t take new customers with a BMI below 30 so that could be the issue? I am below 30 now but wasn’t when I started with them. I’m under clinical review for this order though as it’s dropped so much since my last order. Don’t mind that, it’s good they check, so long as they accept the additional answers I’ve now provided about my health and loss.

Nice problem to have 😂 sorry you can’t use the code though. I know my days with them are numbered too as they cut off just into the normal range. Need to change to someone better for maintenance.

Hi, I've been getting mine from Pharmacy2u but didn't get a discount code that works this month. Tried the medexpress one but its not working now. Anyone using a cheaper supplier?

Thanks @wlinewbie0425 got my 7.5 pen for £88!! I got my first 3 pens for medexpress then switched to pharmulous for the next 2 since they support maintenance but this was too good a deal to turn down 😁

@Merlin23 I’m also with SheMed, it’s so good not having to chase prices each month.

I couldn't get past the first page either. Unfortunately (not unfortunately) I think I just might be just tipping into healthy BMI with around a stone to lose until goal so I think that's probably why. Annoying but understandable. I might try a few others though.
