Morning all. 😀

B*gger all weight loss this week, so I’ve gone for the full dose of 1.7. Hope the SE.’s won’t be too bad over the weekend.
NSV. Went to my usual Friday morning strength class and because I was late, I had to stand next to the mirrors (usually hide from them). Definitely not the biggest in the class now 🎉.

Congratulations all on your continuing losses. I can’t believe so many of you are cruising past the 2 stone mark. Flippin brilliant!

Hawkmoth · 25/07/2025 12:32

Well that's 2.5kg off this week. In piss. You have to laugh 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rapidly coming to the realisation that I'm just not quite put together correctly. But anyway, back to fat burning...

Not sure if it's an NSV or not, but all my stretch marks are now inside out. Quite fascinating!!

toobusytoclean · 25/07/2025 19:51

On the alcohol front I have to report that last night I ended up pouring half a glass of wine down the sink. This is unheard of for me! Definitely don’t think about alcohol on 7.5mg, and am actively choosing water instead.

wendywoopywoo222 · 25/07/2025 20:33

Congratulations on all the fab weight losses. I’ve lost another two this week making 32 pounds. Unlike some of you I do still have a long long way to go but it’s lovely to feel like it’s possible.

I cruised recently and jabbed before I went. Still had a few cocktails and didn’t feel like I was missing out as ate lots of prawns, lean meats and salads. Didn’t miss the usual hangovers and food coma’s and could walk much further than usual.

PoisonIvy89 · 25/07/2025 23:16

Good to see you back @Ricoletti hope you're doing ok 😘

Great losses @toobusytoclean @Ricoletti @wendywoopywoo222
@Crunchymum @violetmondays yay 2stone awards for you both 🏆🏆

@AbundanceofKatherines isn't it a weird feeling that we are excited to weigh in now, I've never felt that on any previous weight loss attempts

Congratulations @Discogirl23 ! ⭐

I've been exercising damn hard this week and my legs are so achey, I'm hoping that shows on the scales tomorrow 🙏

ymemanresu · 25/07/2025 23:37

Hello and well done everyone. Im on holiday atm. I dropped down to 3.75mg last Thursday from 5mg due to severe constipation, by yesterday ( 7 days later) appetite was back, i didn’t jab and by today i was really bloody hungry again, stomach growling and food noise was back 😡I want to enjoy the next week of my holiday so just jabbed 1.25 for the next few days to see how i get on. Within a few hours of that microdose, the hunger disappeared just like magic. It’s made me feel down seeing how quickly the hunger came back

Scousebloke · 26/07/2025 06:25

Saturday is weigh day for me.
After my first setback last week when i had gained 2lb, ive bounced back this week with a 4lb loss.
Back in the 2 stone club with a total loss of 30lb. Happy with that.

StartingApril2025 · 26/07/2025 09:19

@ymemanresu crazy how quick it can come back isn’t it, glad that dose worked!
well done @Scousebloke great result!
jab day yesterday, another 3.75mg, weigh day today and lost 1lb!happy with that as I am typically have slow losses 3 weeks in a month and a whoosh a week!

Zebracat · 26/07/2025 09:25

91.8 kilos today. Lost 0.9kilo . 7.5 dose is working but I am crazy constipated. Just had some laxido

BeachBodyAim · 26/07/2025 10:32

SW 17.7
CW 15.2
WK 14 loss 1lb
Total loss 33lb

bloody scales showed a 2lb loss yesterday but have dropped to 1lb this morning!!😡 feeling disappointed the losses seem to be slower?! But I know the bigger picture is a great loss and if someone said I’d have lost this amount of weight in 14 weeks when I started I’d have been delighted!!!
last week on 2.5mg and it’s the golden dose so slightly more (around 3.6?!) then up to 5mg.
Well done everyone and hope you all have a fab week!!!

toobusytoclean · 26/07/2025 12:11

So I have now developed a small but very itchy rash as my injection site with 7.5mg. Never had this before usually I get a small bruise. Will apply Anthisan cream and take an antihistamine. Any other top tips to deal with this and possibly stop it before it develops as am off on holiday next week with a friend and don’t really want to be itching 🤣

PoisonIvy89 · 26/07/2025 18:03

Great losses @Scousebloke @StartingApril2025 @Zebracat @BeachBodyAim well done everyone!

Jab day for me, I'm now on week13 and third dose of 3.75mg.
I lost 2.3lbs this week which I'm very pleased with and my bmi is now under 40 woohoo!! Total loss is now 30.6lbs!!

I decided to buy myself some new heavier weights for my 30lb loss reward. It seems I've swapped from rewarding myself with food to rewarding myself with pain and suffering and torturous exercise equiptment, I guess that's progress, I think. 30lb dumbells or kettlebell for 30lbs lost seemed like a good idea until I tried to pick one up, it turns out that's actually very heavy! I can't believe I was walking around with that just a few weeks ago, no wonder everything hurt all the time.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

had this a few times.

honestly, since I started injecting above belly button (and not below) it’s resolved.
I think maybe the injection site was rubbing on my clothes and causing irritation?

im now meticulous about injection hygiene, as I read this could be a factor. I’m super careful in cleaning the red seal before attaching needle, wash hands and area to inject with hot water and soap, and use alcohol wipe to swab skin before jabbing.

I then press the injection site with the wipe for a minute or so after removing needle.

this has resolved it for me…. Not sure if it just went away on its own or my crazy method works… but I keep doing it just in case 🤣🤣🤣

I found hydrocortisone cream worked better than any ‘itch’ cream , when I was getting the rash.

oh, and don’t itch it. The more you itch it the worse it will get !

The dreaded constipation!!! I’ve found magnesium supplements every night are doing the trick for me at the moment. Also great for restless legs and help me sleep.

others are getting good results with fibre cubes.

I've been getting a reaction since my second dose of 5mg. It's reduced on the last couple of jabs but still there, and even when the itch as gone the redness is still visible though faint. I have started taking stronger antihistamines and use hydrocortisone which is probably why it's reduced but I'm beginning to think it will always happen which is annoying.

@Zebracat i started on the fruits and fibres cubes last week and they are working for me. Have pooped every morning and just a good, normal poo, nothing explosive or urgent.
Definitely recommend

PumpKim · 27/07/2025 11:30

Official weigh day today ( I average the week). 0.8lb loss this week. I just want a whole pound fgs 🤣 I am happy that I'm consistently losing though.

I need to order my next pen and can't decide whether to stick with 5mg or go up to 7.5mg. I'm doing fine on 5 at the minute but I maybe have had some extra snacking creeping in.. not a lot though. Not sure another 5mg will be effective for the whole next month but also nervous of side effects of increasing. I would also want to change provider for 7.5mg to get it cheaper than my current Pill Sorted as it jumps up in price. Decisions decisions 😬

Zebracat · 27/07/2025 18:10

@toobusytoclean I love figs and I’m eating 2 or 3 a day fresh from our tree but I loathe dried figs. Don’t know why but I can’t. @Ricoletti . Thank you I have magnesium but it had dropped off my radar.

So glad (and relieved) they’re working @toobusytoclean! Shame you don’t like the dried figs @Zebracat but hope the fresh ones work.

There was no change in SEs for me from 5mg to 7.5mg @PumpKim, other than feeling that 7.5mg works ‘better’.

Well done for all the losses and NSVs everyone! We’re rocking this!

I’ve come away on holiday for a week today and have no scales for my daily weigh in and no overnight oats…feeling a little anxious at being out of my usual routine, but did transport my pen for a Wednesday jab and a Tupperware of quinoa and veg to try and keep me on the right path (resisted McDonalds on the way as genuinely did not tempt me). But a major boost was that the dress I’d picked out for travelling in was one I couldn’t fit into two months ago, got back into a month ago, and now with my new bra scaffolding, it’s baggy under the bust 😳

SweetChilliGirl · 27/07/2025 20:33

I'm on holiday too, with my pen for the two jabs I'll need, but no scales 😬

It's definitely harder on holiday - more snacky lunches bought at boulangeries, more easy to make in an Airbnb dinners, more wine ...

PeachSnail · 28/07/2025 10:07

W14 D1

SW 87.65kg
CW 76.2kg
GW 65kg

Loss this week: 1.7kg (3.75lbs)
Total loss: 11.45kg (1.8 stone)

It's been a funny week for me, as I was struck down by a stomach bug on Thursday... When the dreaded diarrhea returned I was worried that I'd over-cooked my dosage again and that it was side effects... I was actually relieved when I realised that I had a temperature and it was "just" a stomach bug!! Thankfully it wasn't too bad, though I've had stomach cramps for a good few days after.

I'm debating whether to do my next jab today or tomorrow... I usually jab on Mondays but it might be sensible to give my digestive system a bit more time to recover? Plus, I'm going on holiday for 10 days on Wednesday and I'm not bringing my pen with me... So it might be good to wait until closer to leaving.

Thanks for sharing your experiences of being on holiday @SweetChilliGirl and @Coventree. I can imagine it's going to be fairly tricky eating healthily (we'll be in a shared villa with friends) but I'm at least hoping I'll eat a smaller quantity of food, even if the food itself is less healthy... Fingers crossed!

Also, just wanted to say it's nice to see you back @Ricoletti - spreading warmth and positivity through the group, as ever 😊♥️

Have a good week everyone! 🌺🌼🌻

dozywelshbird · 28/07/2025 10:42

well done on all the losses and NSVs, it sounds like many are navigating this while being on holidays and still doing well and losing 😁

Another 1lb off again, just call me Mrs Consistent 🙎 but its 21lbs in total now which I am very happy with, it all adds up

@PeachSnail I'd be inclined to leave it a day or two before I jabbed too, makes sense given your holiday

wlinewbie0425 · 28/07/2025 10:47

Hi all - checking in from holiday as well, I took a half dose the day before leaving and even with that I did struggle a bit for the first half of the holiday. Managed to have small amounts of usual holiday treats but it has restricted that. However I don’t resent it as feeling so much less uncomfortable in holiday clothes is completely worth it.
suppression is a bit less now and enjoying the last few days eating and drinking what I want, but the quantities are so reduced I’m hopeful any gain will be minimal. As a daily weigher it’s just a bit weird not knowing.

congrats on all this week’s losses and NSVs 🥳
