very annoying @BudgieMom hopefully you'll have a whoosh next weigh in

I was expecting not to have lost anything this week after my 4lb whoosh last week, and I was right, I STS.... sticking at 5mg again as the golden dose of 6.6mg made me feel awful

Amazing photo @Coventree so motivating to see the changes

well done on all the losses and NSVs 😄

@PoisonIvy89 I was a size 20 thinking I’d have to move to 22s, and it was a very loose and roomy size 14 last night, but yes, I’m just comparing photos and I felt so good in my skin this weekend and the happiness seems to show through. I can’t even look at my April first pen photos because I look so sad and puffy-faced. Can we add personal photos on here? Let’s see if this works - start of this year in the green dress compared to Friday night (I had two nights out with different friend groups - get me - so this isn’t the size 14 dress but I think/hope shows the some of the face change at least)

Edited

Wow. Go you, thats bloody amazing x

Brunocatmon · 15/07/2025 12:41

Spurred on by @Coventreepics. I had a look back to April to compare pics.

You dont see it yourself do you but my gosh. 😲

@Brunocatmon wow! You already look like a different woman.

Coventree · 15/07/2025 13:27

Wow! Love this @Brunocatmon, what an amazing change in your face shape 👏👏👏. I think we’re just too blind to the incremental daily changes but taking a step back like this allows to see what we’ve achieved in 13-ish weeks x

GoGoGovy · 15/07/2025 13:45

I’ve lost just over a stone (plodder!), but most of it has come off my stomach. I am now up to 2-3 strength and/or toning classes a week and a bit of cycling ( hence the attractive cycling shorts), which is helping change my shape. Thrilled to look a little less barrel shaped.

Loving seeing these nsv for us all.

Thank you. Thats it isn't it? Its not easy to see day by day but over a period of time. Im keeping a folder with progress pics in.

Coventree · 15/07/2025 13:56

Over a lb a week is a great steady loss @GoGoGovy and wow what a difference a stone can make! Definite shape change 👏👏👏

GoGoGovy · 15/07/2025 13:56

@Brunocatmon you look fab!

GoGoGovy · 15/07/2025 13:56

@Brunocatmon you look fab!

Thank you. I didnt realise my face had become so puffy back then.

PoisonIvy89 · 15/07/2025 16:35

@Brunocatmon Wow you look amazing, well done!!

@GoGoGovy That's a huge difference from 1 stone!!! Well done!!

It's so motivating to see and read about how fantastically well everyone is doing, I'm so glad to have found this little community ❤

Coffeeandallthebooks · 15/07/2025 16:50

It's amazing to see all your pictures, what a difference you can see in all of them!

It is really motivating to see results as well as hear about the scales going down, it is wonderful.

wlinewbie0425 · 15/07/2025 19:08

wow some really impressive changes visibly in a relatively short time - massive 👏 to you all.

@Coventreecan see such a change - you look so relaxed and happy in the after photo as well as a noticeable loss.

@Brunocatmonsuch a change to your face too - jawline reappearing makes such an instant change that you and everyone else can’t miss. I am also jealous of your smile in both photos 😀

@GoGoGovyirs hard to believe that change is ‘only’ a stone as you’ve lost it in the best way and look several stone more toned and healthy - huge well done on the massive effort alongside the injections - a far cry from the perception of cheating at weight loss!

Also well done to @PeachSnailon the exercise and loss this week. It’s so important to find movement that fits into your life. For me at the moment that’s a 10minute dumbbell strength video in my break most days and taking the kids to the park but it’s better than nothing. Trying to eliminate the bingo wings that are appearing as the flab deflates.

@ZebracatI had a really high calorie day at the weekend too easily over 2000 but these things are part of life - and I bet if we look over a week it’s insignificant compared to previous habits.

@dozywelshbirdand @BudgieMomgains and maintain weeks are probably common with the heat and holidays at the moment and also as we are all about 3 months in and it can’t always be downwards.

i did my jab today (5mg) then next week will drop down to 2.5mg for my pre-holiday jab. Did a lot of thinking about it and don’t want to skip one but also I find on 5 I have a couple of days each week where food is a chore and drink not even a possibility and I want to enjoy our break and not put a dampener on family meals.

Will do my weekly weigh in as usual tomorrow. Don’t think it will be a big loss unless something magical overnight as currently only 0.8 down on last week. Could be worse after a big eating weekend.

Thank you for your kind words @wlinewbie0425. Admittedly, I was slouching in the 1st photo ( also pulled down by the weight of my boobs) and standing tall in the 2nd.
Im coming to the conclusion that I am going to have to do a lot of exercise and lay off the carbs (and alcohol) to keep on track. I’m only short, so I need to work really hard at being slim. I was diagnosed with an oestrogen fuelled cancer a few years ago and to remain healthy, and cancer free, I need to keep my weight at a healthy bmi.

Ricoletti · 15/07/2025 19:55

Hi everyone.

firstly, thanks so much for your lovely messages and support. I really appreciated your helpful suggestions and direction regarding food choices. Gave me one less thing to think about and was exactly what I needed.

My grandma passed away and it was as good a death as any of us could hope for. So that’s a comfort to me.

im not weighing this week, im too fragile to risk seeing a gain from the crazy eating pattern ive been in. Also the alcohol!
I was a few days late jabbing too.

i just wanted to pop over and see you all. Hearing your updates and seeing the lovely photos you have shared have made me smile. Well done , I’m so proud of us all x

GoGoGovy · 15/07/2025 20:01

@Ricoletti so sorry to hear your news. Be kind to yourself xx

Zebracat · 15/07/2025 20:23

Well done @Ricoletti you should be very proud of yourself . I’m sure you were a great comfort to your Grandma and to your Mum . You are always so kind and positive on here. Time to put you first for a bit now💐💐

Beachbabes · 15/07/2025 20:27

I haven’t posted in a long time but trying to keep up to date with you all. Well done on all the losses and the NSV, and the photos are fab, amazing results. I am 19.5lb down now, slow and steady. Keeping it going 👊

PoisonIvy89 · 15/07/2025 20:33

@Ricoletti I'm so sorry for your loss, sending love to you and your family x

Coventree · 15/07/2025 21:12

Oh @Ricoletti, so sorry to hear this, but glad you can take comfort in the way it happened. Look after yourself and your mum, take up any offers of help from those around you, and we’ll be here to distract you/to listen to you when you need it xx

wlinewbie0425 · 15/07/2025 21:54

Really sorry to hear about your loss @Ricoletti- like others have already said your kindness shines through every day even here to strangers, so your grandma and mum were so fortunate to have you at their side during this hardest of times. Scales and all that are not important this week as you know, just take care of and be kind to yourself xxx
