@Megsdaughter 3.75 from a 5 is 45 clicks I did it for 5 weeks was a nice step up to the 5 x

Coventree · 13/07/2025 13:11

Aw, sorry it’s not worked out @Lidlbitofmonica and please do let us know how you find it coming off it/if you go back on it after hols etc. Good luck and enjoy your hols!

Well done @PumpKimand glad people are starting to notice the new you 😍

How annoying @Crunchymum, hope you get it sorted ☹️

Assuming you have a 5mg pen with 1 dose being 60 clicks, 3.75mg would be 45 clicks (30=2.5mg, 45=3.75mg, 60=5mg) @Megsdaughter

Megsdaughter · 13/07/2025 13:16

Thank you, will try that see if it helps. Feels like morning sickness all over again 😁 and my DS is 45!

GeraniumRoseblush · 13/07/2025 13:24

@Lidlbitofmonica sorry to hear you've had the dreaded sulphur burps and vomiting. I've been looking into the causes as I sometimes get the burps and diarrhoea. The internet tells me its possibly to do with food in the gut fermenting as its not passing through. Eventually the body needs to expel it if its not moving along the digestive tract, hence vomiting/burps/diarrhoea. All pretty grim but makes sense. Some suggested eating smaller meals more often to keep things moving, and upping fibre.

Hope you have a good holiday, and you start to feel better!

GoGoGovy · 13/07/2025 15:18

@Lidlbitofmonica I sympathise. I’ve just been on on city break and although my SE’s aren’t awful atm, I didn’t feel like I could fully enjoy the weekend because of the limitations on what I could eat or drink. I still have the desire to eat - that never went away, I just can’t stomach a lot and if it’s fatty or carbs, I feel crap. I’ve only lost a stone and it seems a lot to go through for not a lot of reward.
The plan of action is to get to goal weight (or as close as I can manage), then wean myself off the drug and go it alone.
So many of our group are doing really well and have had fantastic losses. I suppose, by law of averages, some of us were always going to struggle.
Hope you have a fantastic holiday.

Lidlbitofmonica · 13/07/2025 16:36

Thank you @GoGoGovy @Coventree @GeraniumRoseblush I had read the description of food fermenting in your stomach, told my husband that and he agreed that was exactly what it smelled like 🤢
He gave me a bit of a pep talk this morning about how good I’ve been at tracking foods, and that Mounjaro hasn’t been sending me to the gym 3-4 a week, that’s been me wanting to go. So I just need to keep that energy going! Not tracking food on holiday though, as think it will be too difficult, but going to stick to good choices as Mounjaro apparently stays in your system for up to 28 days.

PoisonIvy89 · 13/07/2025 17:20

@violetmondays I've never had it from chocolate before and I used to eat a lot of it

@SassyLimeHelper excellent loss! 2stone award for you🏆

@SweetChilliGirl fingers crossed the increase helps

@Coventree from 22 to size 14?!!!!!!! that must feel pretty damn good!! well done!

@PumpKim excellent loss well done!!! yay for supportive auntie ❤

@Lidlbitofmonica are you quitting for good or just taking a break while on holiday?

Lidlbitofmonica · 13/07/2025 17:26

@PoisonIvy89 quitting for good is the plan, in the hope I can carry on losing by myself

PoisonIvy89 · 13/07/2025 17:59

@Lidlbitofmonica I hope you'll update us on how it goes and how much food noise and appetite returns. Good luck with the rest of your journey!

Coventree · 13/07/2025 21:05

@PoisonIvy89 I was a size 20 thinking I’d have to move to 22s, and it was a very loose and roomy size 14 last night, but yes, I’m just comparing photos and I felt so good in my skin this weekend and the happiness seems to show through. I can’t even look at my April first pen photos because I look so sad and puffy-faced. Can we add personal photos on here? Let’s see if this works - start of this year in the green dress compared to Friday night (I had two nights out with different friend groups - get me - so this isn’t the size 14 dress but I think/hope shows the some of the face change at least)

A huge difference @Coventree , that’s amazing!! Well done you xx

PoisonIvy89 · 13/07/2025 21:14

@Coventree Wow that's a huuuge difference, you look amazing!! well done!!
also your dress is pretty even if it's not the tiny 14 one

GeraniumRoseblush · 13/07/2025 21:15

@Coventree wow, such a difference! Well done on your progress, that's so motivating! 🙌👊

Coventree · 13/07/2025 21:24

Aww thanks guys - and I bet there would be a difference in every single one of us if you look back at your photos, whether you’ve lost 10lb, 20lb, 30lb. I still have 3st to lose to get me to 10st but it’s the little boosts like this that help, along with the fab support we’re all giving each other day in, day out xx

PoisonIvy89 · 13/07/2025 21:42

@Coventree that's true, progress photos can be so motivating especially if the scale is not moving, sometimes we are losing inches but not lbs and it's hard to see the difference when looking in the mirror. I've been taking photos monthly on mj and it's so helpful, I haven't done that on previous weight loss attempts

Hawkmoth · 13/07/2025 21:51

@Coventree those photos are amazing. You look great.

PeachSnail · 14/07/2025 06:42

Good morning everyone 🌅

I've been following along with everyone's news, losses and NSVs... Congrats to everyone who is really starting to see differences in terms of health and appearance. Lovely to hear these good news stories 👏👏👏

And to everyone else who is struggling with personal stuff, plateaus or SE... Hang in there 💪. Wishing you all the best ♥️

PeachSnail · 14/07/2025 06:56

Weigh day check-in

W11 D1

SW 87.65kg
CW 77.3kg
GW 65kg

So I've had a 0.9kg (2lb) loss this week, which I'm happy with 😊

That brings me to a total loss of 10.35kg (1 stone 8lbs)

I tweaked my dose down to 2.75mg last week, after having done 3mg the week before. I felt like I got less nausea and decent suppression so I think I still with that for my next jab today.

I'm still keeping up my running training (3-4 times a week) and I can't believe I used to haul around a body that was 10kg heavier before... I managed to do a pretty fast (for me!) 8.5km run yesterday so it's great to feel the difference when exercising 🏃‍♀️

Wishing everyone a good week ahead ✨🫶

GoGoGovy · 14/07/2025 07:45

That’s an amazing difference. Well done @Coventree

Zebracat · 14/07/2025 08:38

Well done @PeachSnail and blimey @Coventree you look so alive in that photo.
ive given myself a stern talking to today. We were out yesterday at a National Trust place and I ate pie for lunch and then cake for tea. Unusual, but ok as a one off. I felt bloated when we got home but then unaccountably ate loads of bread and cheese which I neither wanted nor needed. Total calories yesterday were 2000. Why would I do that? I had a miserable night with indigestion and self loathing. Had a good chat with Dh about it and we have meal planned the week so hope I can do better.

violetmondays · 14/07/2025 10:52

The difference in those 2 photos is amazing @Coventree 👏

I didn't take any photos when we started. The ones I used for the MJ consultation were taken in-app so they didn't save to my phone. I'm sure I'll be able to find plenty of photos when I looked fat though.

I tried on all my old summer clothes this weekend and can get into most of them going back to around 10 years ago 🙌 Which is great as I don't have to buy any new clothes for my holiday this summer. I've noticed that I seem to have lost more from my lower body though, trousers and shorts are fitting well now but tops are still a bit tight and I haven't changed bra size. I do hope it comes off the top as well, don't want to be chubby up top with skinny legs 😆Has anyone else noticed anything like this and do you think it will even out in the end?

Congrats on this week's loss @PeachSnail

Don't be too hard on yourself @Zebracat - it's only 1 day and probably won't make much difference over the week. I had birthday cake on Saturday too!

Scousebloke · 14/07/2025 11:38

@coventree well done. The difference in the 2 photos is great to see

BudgieMom · 14/07/2025 13:12

First weigh in after taking the 5mg and it's 0.5lb on! My first gain in 11 weeks but I'm putting it down to bloating in the hot weather couldn't even get my rings on over the weekend! Hope eveyone had a great week and we'll done to everyone on your losses and nsvs x

Coventree · 14/07/2025 13:30

Thanks all - feeling the love ❤️. Good luck everyone for keeping going through the ups and downs of hot weather, celebrations, and holidays…and remember the monthly average of what you’ve lost can help to focus on, rather than the minor blips x
