Hi, can I join you please. I just did my first jab this evening. Too soon to feel any effects I would imagine. Am absolutely going to eat sensibly as I’m terrified of eating something that causes digestion issues!
I need to lose about 6 stone.

You have about the same as me to lose and welcome :) I'm new as well just started this week

RoryIslaNanny · 14/06/2025 07:39

I did my 3rd jab last night. SE much better this time as I have not woken up with nausea like with my previous 2 jabs. I lost another 3.5 lb last week so that’s a total of 10 lb in 2 weeks. I am so happy with that.
I think the biggest ‘plus’ for me is I no longer have that dreaded fear that I’m just going to fail each time (there have been so many!) I start a diet. The temptation to overeat or eat bad foods has totally gone.

Wishing you all the best of luck with your weight loss journeys x

CW 13st 11.5

W1D7 so first week done for me. I'm very pleased with a 4.5lb loss, I've never had big first week losses on previous diets.
Side effects have been minimal, feeling full on small portions so it's been pretty easy to stick to my calorie target.
Second jab later this evening, I'm hoping next week will feel similar but obviously not expecting a similar loss again, I'm hoping for around 2lb per week.
I hope all the June jabbers have a lovely weekend 😊

dietstartstmoz · 14/06/2025 08:43

Hello June jabbers,
My stats are;
SW 16.4
CW 15.7
I have done 2 weeks now and my week 3 jab will be later this evening. No SE. I have lost 11lb in 2 weeks. I am amazed and also so pleased with this and feel confident that I can continue this easily now that the urge to snack is reduced and I can show some willpower when the jab is wearing off. Well done everyone on starting this journey and for the amazing losses so far 👏

BrilliantineStickInsect · 14/06/2025 08:44

First weigh-in for me today after week 1 (well 6 days) and I’ve lots 2kg, around 4.5 pounds! Was hoping it’d be a bit more dramatic but I’ll take that! 😅

Sideorderofchips · 14/06/2025 09:07

Although i started mt dose Wednesday my weigh in day is a Saturday

Sw 19st 2
Cw 18st 13
Gw 11st

UglyBastardFace · 14/06/2025 09:11

First week weigh in for me. Lost 4lbs, happy with that. Now have to sort out that gym membership....

Xmasfairy86 · 14/06/2025 09:21

SW 106kg
CW 102.4kg
GW 🤷🏼‍♀️ 70ish maybe!

same as you @dietstartstmoz , 3rd jab tonight.

period was this and snack craving hormones were strong! So the fact I’ve lost 2kg this week astounds me!

Dellabella83 · 14/06/2025 09:22

W1D7 for me, jab later tonight. No SE before today but woke up with horrific nausea. I’m drinking enough water, not always managing enough protein but eating better than have done in years. It’s thrown me a bit coz would like expect side effects after jab, not just before 🤢anyone else had this?

RomanFruit · 14/06/2025 09:27

Only lost half a pound in week 2, but that’s not entirely unexpected after having gone out for dinner twice this week.

Have otherwise eaten really well, so I’m sure it’s at least partly the dramatic water weight loss from week 1 evening itself out!

Looking forward to jab 3 this evening, as the hunger has started returning.

Mumofteens20 · 14/06/2025 10:18

hope it is okay to join in. I started my first jab this morning. It’s been sitting in my fridge for a week, was too nervous to start. Timing is stupid as going on a cruise in 3 weeks, but hoping it works for me, even if I can lose a few pounds before we go away. Also looking forward to not hearing the food noise I’ve heard so much about. Hope everyone else is doing okay. Any tips would greatly be appreciated

MadlyTrudyDeeply · 14/06/2025 10:25

Third jab today, have lost 10 lbs in two weeks.

First SE last night - other than headache in week 1- of upset stomach. I don't know if I overdid the fybrogel or whether it was the teeny amount of olive oil I used to grease the pan for my tea.

BadgerFace · 14/06/2025 10:32

@Mumofteens20 Don’t think of it as stupid timing, think of it as you’ll be able to enjoy the food on the cruise in moderation! I went out for dinner last night and enjoyed every mouthful but also enjoyed only eating a bit of everything - sharing plates work well on MJ!

I drank more than intended over dinner so sadly MJ is not taking the edge off there but not feeling the cravings for loads of carbs this morning which is a bit of a revelation. I’ve just had a packet of snacking cheese which is my new favourite snack - getting some protein in and better than the crisps I would usually eat…

T27 · 14/06/2025 10:39

My pen is arriving this afternoon. Quite nervous about using it but only because of side effects - trying to convince myself I won’t get any. Nausea is my nemesis!
do,people use a calorie tracker? x

baggybags · 14/06/2025 10:40

@T27 i use an app to count calories

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 14/06/2025 10:41

W2D2 for me too.
i’m same as @Stablegirl2012 re water, nausea and food noise.
how is everyone feeling after exercise? Even after a brisk 45 min I feel achey of leg and tired!

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 14/06/2025 10:41

Brisk 45 min walk. Nothing more than that

baggybags · 14/06/2025 10:43

I have done a weights workout this week but no where enough steps. Going to
go for a long walk soon

T27 · 14/06/2025 10:46

baggybags · 14/06/2025 10:40

@T27 i use an app to count calories

Sideorderofchips · 14/06/2025 10:48

baggybags · 14/06/2025 11:01

baggybags · 14/06/2025 11:01

T27 · 14/06/2025 11:28

baggybags · 14/06/2025 11:01

nutra check!

Thank you x

Thornrose · 14/06/2025 11:41

Well I've finally done it, after much stalling. I just injected, I can't believe that you can't even feel the needle going in. After my dramatic countdown 😂

I'm going to keep busy today and try not to focus on (imaginary) side effects!

I feel excited, this has to be it for me. I really owe it to myself to succeed and get to a healthy weight. Without being dramatic, before it's too late.
