@Polkadotdash love the look of those jeans.

CurlsandCurves · 10/06/2025 20:28

I’m another egg on legs! Although without the boobage, just carry it all on my tummy.

Small victory today at my PT session. I noticed that I can now do tricep pull downs without my belly getting in the way!

BlueLimes · 10/06/2025 18:43

@discov yay for maintenance!! Did you need to show previous prescriptions? Give GP details etc ? I’m some way away but may book a call as I think there’s a bit of a wait.

ive been with Oushk the whole time as I chose them because of the good customer service and their maintenance plans! And I’m too lazy to shop around 😂 So they had all the details of my past orders and GP etc already. I know a few people on the FB group have swapped to them for maintenance so it is possible, even if you’re at a healthy BMI. I’ve had an excellent experience with them!

I booked mine back in March because they were so booked up in advance. But I know they have added another staff member who is able to do maintenance calls now, so I think it’s made the availability a bit better.

BlueLimes · 10/06/2025 21:26

Thanks so much @discov I’m at least a stone away from needing maintenance. I’m with Voy who are expensive but it’s very convenient and I’ve also been happy with the service. I will swap at some point.

discov · 10/06/2025 21:36

@BlueLimesOushk say to book for when you think you’ll be 3-4lbs away from goal. Which I know is hard to judge, and I don’t think they are too strict about it. I am 5.6lbs away but did mention I might lower it by another 7lbs and that wasn’t an issue at all 😃

BlueLimes · 10/06/2025 22:26

Thank you @discov I’m so slow with my lb here or there, probably don’t be ready until August at best, it’s taken me 20 weeks to lose 23lbs maybe they’ll be a miracle loss tomorrow …

MJalltheway · 11/06/2025 08:23

A little bit down again on today's daily weigh, so hopefully moving in the right direction again.
I videoed myself on the rowing machine yesterday (at home!) to check my technique (still rubbish...) and from the side I still look quite considerably fat.

Bit depressing given that I've lost almost 3 stone so far. I hope I will get to a point where I actually look slim! I don't look too bad from the front but the side view is terrible. 😞

UnderandOverwhelmed · 11/06/2025 08:47

Week 23 complete. Tiny loss of 0.4lbs this week but I've definitely had a poor week eating more than I should so I expected to stay the same.

@MJalltheway remeber, it's a marathon, not a sprit.
I had a shock about half way in the journey, looked semi-decent standing up but then saw myself when I was exercising in just a sports bra (at home!) and doing a plank. OMG. I looked like a melted candle.

MJalltheway · 11/06/2025 10:48

Yep I can definitely relate to that @HeidiNotSoHeavy. I have a secret goal to one day be able to do an exercise class in a crop top/sports bra - not sure that will ever happen!

must remember however fat I currently look though, 6 months ago I looked considerably fatter!

MJalltheway · 11/06/2025 10:50

Also kudos for planking! I still can't manage any more than 15-20 seconds of a plank, for some reason it just eludes me.

I’m a daily weigher as I find it less stressful that way. Definitely seeing fluctuations that don’t seem obviously linked to food, drink or even BM, but as long as there is a gentle downwards trend I’m good.

I’m 13kg down in just under 5 months, would have loved faster but I’m going for healthier eating and trying to listen to my body rather than calorie counting so I can’t really complain. Anybody who thinks they are slow - just compare your progress in 2025 with pretty much any other year!

I’m very similar 2st down and 3st to go. Daily weigher to get used to the natural fluctuations but I do calorie count too.

Ive bought some new tops and summer dresses in a size 14 this week. I know that I could have made do a bit longer but some things are looking ridiculous. Vanity sizing I’m sure plays a part though as I have some old old size 14 shorts that I still can’t get over my thighs!!

Clovesandcats · 11/06/2025 12:21

As a general lurker and very sporadic poster I haven’t contributed much to these threads but have really appreciated the insights, perspective and sense of community, especially given that I’m cagey about admitting to being on the jabs irl.

I’ve plateaued at 68kg, I’ve been bouncing between there and 70 for the last month (started at 83kg in Jan). I’m 5ft4, so BMI 5.6 - very close to the healthy range.

That puts me in the slow loser category, but I’m actually pretty happy with how I look at the moment. There’s a big difference between my size now and when I started. I was a bulgy size 16 and am now 12/14. In the mirror I’m no longer ‘fat’. Yes, there are some flabby bits, but I no longer feel the need to hide under bulky cardigans or boxy, oversized t-shirts.

I’ve just quit a stressful job and will spend the next few weeks working on fitness and hopefully building some muscle (I’ve now got a pancake flat butt which I’d especially like to remedy). I’m on 7.5 with good suppression and need to work out whether I can continue this process on a tapered dose/cut it out now I have time for exercise and less stress, or whether I need the jabs regardless. I suspect I’ll continue for the next pen then look to cut down.

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 11/06/2025 14:05

Had another one of those online shopping experiences, when you unpack the items and go 'Ha ha, they have sent the wrong size, there's no way this teeny tiny little thing will fit me'. And then it does.
Little less funny when the item in question is a bikini top. 😂
Oh well, guess it's 'padded push up' territory for me now.

Thelittlestranger · 11/06/2025 14:09

@Clovesandcats I was looking at my butt in the mirror last night and commenting to my husband on how flat it has suddenly got. Funny how the weight comes off different areas at different times - the butt and upper thighs is the last piece of the puzzle for me it seems.

Therealmetherealme · 11/06/2025 14:16

Ordered from Curely as a new customer yesterday morning, and my pens have been delivered today!

BreezyPeer · 11/06/2025 14:25

I have just reached 20% loss of my start weight! Feel pleased with that

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 11/06/2025 14:29

Yes I whined about it yesterday. Upper body - positively bony. Stomach nice and slim. Bottom flat. Legs still as strong as they come. But - just looked in the full light mirror and noticed that my ankles are suddenly considerably slimmer. So we leave the calves for last it seems?

MJalltheway · 11/06/2025 19:52

3rd Bodypump class done! Still not made it all the way through the lunge track. 🤪

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 11/06/2025 21:33

do you know which release you are doing, @MJalltheway ? If it's 132 I may have bad news about the 133 lunge track 😀

TomorrowPenny · 12/06/2025 04:53

Morning all. Thanks for your encouragement. I’ve tracked calories since I gained weight, started the day I finished my treatment. No weight gained, no weight lost either on 12-1400 a day.

I don’t think I’d lose weight if I didn’t track or stay below 1000 cals max. Apparently I need to eat 2071 cals a day to maintain my current weight according to a calculator I’ve just found. 🤡

I don’t sleep well, usually awake at 3am and I rarely go back to sleep tbh. Work is the cause of 95% of my stress.

I ate more yesterday, Caesar salad, melon, San pelligrino lemon drink for lunch. Ice cream - a one scoop tub of pistachio.

2/3 of a Chicken breast, salad and one new potato for dinner (wasn’t hungry). 1101 calories.

Re not tracking or tracking or weighing vs not weighing I’m not sure I can do anything else to lose weight so I’m just going to keep doing it.

I’ve looked back to four weeks today and I’ve lost 5lbs since 14/5.

I’ve gained 2.5lbs this week, since my lowest recorded weight last Friday. Average daily intake for the week 927 cals.

I think I just need to get that this isn’t going to be remotely linear for me.

meatyryvita · 12/06/2025 07:04

After last weeks STS, a 2.8lb loss this week, which I’m thrilled about.

It’s tough, isn’t it, when it’s not linear. I’ve lost just 6.8lbs in the same time frame and seem to vacillate between a decent loss and then nada.

Your diet sounds good and whilst it’s slow, like me, you are heading in the right direction in general.

your stress and sleep issues will be a major blocker I’m sure as your body holds on to calories due to fight or flight x

I have no idea, I don't even know if it's an official Les Mills one or their own version. We are changing next week though so if the lunge track is worse.. 😭

just another thought @TomorrowPenny I think you also track macros from seeing other things you've posted? How's your fibre intake? I was listening to a podcast (possibly the Zoe one?) which was talking about how important fibre intake is for weight loss.
Must be so frustrating for you to keep doing the right things but having little effect.

Very little change here again today, not holding out much hope for a good loss on weigh in day tomorrow. I'm going to try going up to a 10mg jab this week and hope that kickstarts something.

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 12/06/2025 07:40

@MJalltheway ah yes, you'll get the 133 then. I hope you like bottom half pulse lunges :D
I haven't lost weight this week but that's OK, have been trying to slowly increase calories and relax the calorie tracking a bit. And build mroe muscle.
