@JoanCollinsDiva , yes it’s me.😂

My Hokey Cokey with the scales continues, I’ve gained a 1lb overnight.

Jab day today. I’m out for dinner but somewhere I know I have sensible options so that’s ok.

@MJalltheway being out of routine makes it trickier doesn’t it. You’ll have to post if you make it to bootcamp! I’m back at my regular Pilates classes and have added in a reformer class once a week which I’m enjoying.

@mince3point14159265 sorry to hear that, as someone who frequently stalls for no good reason I know it’s a bit 😖.

Grecianrainbow · 08/06/2025 09:11

SW 14st 7.5lb
CW 12st 6 -1 (-2st 1.5lb total)
GW 9st 4lb

sticking with 10mg still, down another 1lb this week but had birthday stuff with the DC so not the most healthy food around. I’m aiming for the 12st mark for my holiday so a bit more than 1 a week would be ideal now. Still feels a long way to go and I think at this point without the mj help I’d be giving up out of boredom despite the losses. Slow and steady and hopefully then maintenance will be ok 🤞

whyamisuddenlygettingolder · 08/06/2025 09:21

Thanks for the new thread and lovely comments on my skin 😬 on the last one! I don’t really know how to slow down, I’m worried about this for maintenance too - I’ve been on 2.5 the entire time, apart from this last pen that I’ve been doing 3.75 from. Maybe I should go back to 2.5 already. Am scared the damage has just already been done!

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday! It’s gloriously sunny in Yorkshire.

myladyjane · 08/06/2025 09:30

Popping in to say hello quickly. @HeidiNotSoHeavy excellent new name. Everyone is doing so well. I can’t be arsed with the vinted hassle so I subcontract it to dd. She has been doing quite well out of me recently.

my health worries continue albeit slightly more manageable. Have some very minor surgery coming up and we’ll know for definite what’s what after that.

MJ has been continuing fairly ok in the background although exercise/movement has been on the back burner and I need to fix that. I’ve lost about 40lb now and over the half way mark. BMI is still over 30 and about a stone away but because I am short, the gap between bmi 25 and bmi 30 is only about a stone and a half.

still not fully moved up to 7.5. Am click counting and on about 7 I think. I think next week I’ll go up to 7.5 as loss has slowed quite a bit although still clearing about a lb a week. I do get quite bad side effects though in terms of trapped wind/sulphur burps so it’s a bit of a balancing act.

anyway good luck losers

CurlsandCurves · 08/06/2025 09:32

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well this Sunday morning!

we go on holiday July 1st so I got all my holiday clothes out to try on. And they all still fit just fine. Even though I’m just over 2 stone down! Oddly I’m quite happy with that because it’s an expense I can do without, especially as we go way again in November, when I will definitely need new stuff.

7.5mg has massively kicked in this week, my portion sizes are so small. Still blows my mind.

BlueLimes · 08/06/2025 10:05

Thanks for the new thread. Have a good Sunday everyone 😊

DGonMJ · 08/06/2025 10:36

Happy Sunday all! Jab day today.

Wk23 MJ • Wk3 Maintenance • 5mg
SW 79.6kg • GW 62.4kg • CW 60.7kg

Still losing roughly 0.5kg per week, despite not tracking calories. Trying to eat more but MJ is enabling healthy choices and preventing large portion sizes. I could possibly eat more calories if I ate more sugar, but that feels counterintuitive to the whole ‘setting new habits’ mantra we tell ourselves. I’m going to try 4mg next week with the bonus 5th dose, I’m thinking that should enable me to eat more nutritious food.

I’ve been tired a lot this week, perhaps the Weds wine has had a knock on effect, or maybe I’m not eating enough protein/calories. I have my PT heavy weights session later today so will attempt a high protein lunch.

MJalltheway · 08/06/2025 10:54

Well I'm confused now. I weighed this morning and am 0.8kg down from Friday's weigh in. So perhaps I'm not stuck after all!

DGonMJ · 08/06/2025 12:56

Oo, new Renpho scale achievement - I’m weighing younger than my actual age! This is good news as it’s my birthday in a few weeks and I would quite like to age backwards from now 😂

Therealmetherealme · 08/06/2025 15:15

Which Renpho scales do people recorded? Which do age analysis?

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 08/06/2025 15:40

According to my Garmin watch, I am now 5 years younger than my actual age.
But my fellow lovers, my NSV - I am in Spain, it's proper hot, I've been walking around the whole time and there is no chub rub. I can't even fully express how much this will improve my summer - I will wear ALL the dresses and skirts, and without any long underwear.

TomorrowPenny · 08/06/2025 15:59

Fabulous 🤩 Heidi.

I don’t wear a Garmin but after moving a mound of earth in my garden today I think any smart device would reckon I am 20 years older than I am. Does anyone else get carried away? I’ve got a gardener who does the heavy lifting, can I wait? No, five hours later and I’ve moved half of a flowerbed. I swear I can’t bend down at all.

I’m just having a cup of tea before I need to get myself ready for going out later on. My hands 😳. I’ll be the one in the restaurant with hands that I couldn’t get clean, smelling of tiger balm.

Zempy · 08/06/2025 16:23

@TomorrowPenny I also gained a Mystery Pound overnight. I’m LIVID!!!

@CurlsandCurves yeah I was still wearing the same clothes after 2 stone loss. However, I should have listened to @HeidiNotSoHeavyas I stupidly bought lots of (Vinted) clothes in size 12 and all the skirts and jeans are now slightly too big! 🤬🤬🤬 I have sort of slid through from size 14 to 10 without stopping for more than a week! Tops are still fine due to ridiculous boob size.

TomorrowPenny · 08/06/2025 16:37

😩 @Zempy it is so wearing isn’t it. I’ve bought a few bits. I hope they won’t fit for the long haul but I’ll get the things I really like altered. From memory I think most things can be adjusted by two sizes before they’re a write off.

MJalltheway · 08/06/2025 17:30

The good thing about taking AGES to get through sizes is that I've no such worry about slipping through! Still firmly a 16 (one size down) and have never in my adult life been less than a 14. So I reckon most 16s I'll be able to still get away with even at goal. I really need some new bras though, I've been trying to hold on until I've got closer to goal but I might have to bite the bullet and get a couple.

TomorrowPenny · 08/06/2025 17:48

Me too @MJalltheway ! I'm wondering if I might be content at a solid (pardon the pun) size 14, including in trousers, anywhere from the High St. Whatever weight that looks like I do not know. At 5'8 and mid 50s I think that sounds ok in my head.

I bought six of new bras last year, I had been wearing the same size (34D) through my weight gain journey. I was measured at a 36F, they are so comfortable, night and day. My bras are starting to get too big now but I will try to hang on until I've lost another 14-20lbs before I buy any new ones.

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 08/06/2025 18:05

That's the thing though, it also took a lot of kilos initially to go down a size, so I thought it was safe to buy smaller sizes, surely it takes just as long to see a difference. But no, the smaller you get, the faster the sizes change. Also I guess it's easier to squeeze into slightly too small clothes when there's more squeezable material:D

Polkadotdash · 08/06/2025 18:06

I’m having a dilemma about whether to do a full 10mg jab tonight. It will be my third, but I’ve felt off all week on 10mg. I have lost 2lb (which is the biggest single week loss I’ve had) but not sure I like the stomach upset. How do you do a smaller dose from the pen? Is it just fewer clicks?

MJalltheway · 08/06/2025 18:10

Good point about the squeezy material!!
I'm very confident I won't get below a 14 though, I have a tall, big frame with wide hips and big boobs. Even when I was a slim 20 year old, I was still a size 14. My DM is the total opposite of me, she is very short with a tiny frame and a 14 on her would be very very overweight.

You can count clicks or use a syringe/needle to extract the dose into a syringe which might be easier to keep track of.
60 clicks = a full dose. So if you wanted a dose of 7.5mg from a 10mg pen you'd turn 45 clicks (3/4 of the total).

Thelittlestranger · 08/06/2025 19:08

I have over indulged on the booze this week - very stressful at work, then a weekend away is not conducive to not drinking. I kept it sensible every night, but still - looking forward to a few days tee total. I'm also on, so not hoping for much loss tomorrow. I weighed the lowest I've ever seen on the scales on Friday as I weighed after my run 😜 Lost a year on Renpho and everything apart from age (2 months off) was in green 🎉 I might avoid tomorrow, even though it's jab day.

I'm also trying not to buy too much as everything does get looser with just a few lbs now. It's an odd feeling.

Bonus dose tomorrow and another 7.5mg pen - depending on how the next few weeks go, I might start going down. It's coming off more consistently than it has the whole time on this level.

Enjoy your Sunday evening 😴

discov · 08/06/2025 19:13

@HeidiNotSoHeavy no chub rub in the heat is INCREDIBLE. I still haven’t tested it as I’ve not worn a skirt or dress since I started, but I did think the other day when I was walking around upstairs in my pants that my thighs don’t really rub together any more. It’s meant to be quite warm here at the end of the week so maybe I’ll wear a skirt!

DGonMJ · 08/06/2025 19:15

Therealmetherealme · 08/06/2025 15:15

I have the ES-CS20M bought off Amazon a couple of years ago. It measures weight, fat, muscle mass, water, protein, bone density, BMR and based on this and the other details you put in (height, DoB) I guess it works out your metabolic age. All to be taken with a pinch of salt, as most domestic scales aren’t hugely accurate, you can buy ones with hand probes which are a little bit more accurate. But I think anyone who’s more pear shaped probably gets a worse body fat reading than someone who’s apple shaped as it’s easier to read the fat on your legs versus top half.
