Welcome one and all to our latest thread!

So much support and encouragement on here. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s continued achievements and NSVs.

Congratulations to everyone who has reached their goal and starting maintenance, and all the warriors still trekking on.

I still have a couple of stone to go. Feeling motivated and ready to go!

We can do this!

Well done all of you! I must admit I’m a little jealous of those of you starting to think about tapering/ stopping.

I’d like to lose another 2 stone, but I already feel good. That’s the most important thing!

I just WISH I’d lost the taste for alcohol.
can easily drinks a few glasses and still have the craving for it. Wondering if I go up to 10mg after my next pen whether that will help?

the other day I forced myself to eat some lunch, as I realised the day before I’d probably got about 500 calories from food and 1000 from wine 🤦‍♀️🤣

PerditionCatchMySoul · 30/07/2025 18:36

For example, today I’ve eaten Large tablespoon of Greek yogurt, berries, keto granola, 2 hard boiled eggs, 1 breadstick. I’ve done a spin class. And I’ve had 2 glasses of wine! (Child free tonight, very rare so feel v relaxed!) it seems like not much food and too much wine.

Dammit WePrescribe hasn't price matched. They have offered a discount though which is still one of the cheapest but not the cheapest. I don't know whether to stick or twist now. I know switching is always an option in future and they have been very quick with good service.

I haven’t ordered two pens from the same supplier yet and haven’t paid more than £130 for any pen and I’ve just ordered 10mg for £115. After this pen I’ll probably stick with one supplier for maintenance depending on how weight loss goes. I’ve got 13lb to lose to target and 6 weeks of 7.5/10 left so it will be tight 😬😂 I’m okay with ordering 10 again though if needed. But yeah I’ve switched constantly and not had an issue other than Dr Franks.

Ooft I have GOT to start exercising. I know I’ll love it when I get going… it’s just getting going is the problem! Also know I’ve already said about a million times on here now that I really must start exercising.

So today have enquired at my local gym about an initial 3 month membership. I know they do brilliant spin and body pump classes.

Figured it’s a good way of spending the cash I’ve made on Vinted selling my old clothes!

Who else is having fun on Vinted?

Loving Vinted at the moment. Am both selling stuff that is too large and buying things in my new size. Have had great success buying bras, was v reluctant to fork out for expensive new bras, only to shrink out of them in a few weeks time. Now that I’m at my goal size and weight, I might buy some actual “new” new clothes, but for now, Vinted for the win!

WoolerOwl · 30/07/2025 20:24

I have just done my first personal trainer session. I am glad to have started but I probably won't be able to move in the morning!

I am also bribing my son to talk me through how the hotel gym works next week while we are on holiday.

It's three months till we move, and I am determined to be fitter and stronger by then. And to lose the last 8kg.

Zibb · 30/07/2025 21:33

I feel so freaked out that I can feel my bones now.

It's so weird and makes me very uncomfortable. I do not want to know what my bones feel like from the outside.

SpiralSister · 31/07/2025 07:05

I agree, @Zibb! I now understand what ‘sit bones’ means. Tbh, it’s a lot less comfortable without the luxuriant arse padding of yore.

I’ve got about a stone now to get to the top of a healthy BMI. It seems a lot. I don’t think I can afford a lot more off my face at my age. I think I look great with clothes on now. Clothes off - well, I’m making my peace with it. Feeling grateful to be stronger and healthier.

Otherwise, 10mg continues to kick my arse! This week has honestly felt like the MJ is doing all the work for the first time. Previously, it’s has supported my choices (brilliantly), but I’ve been putting the effort in to eat well. This is now about making the effort to eat, full stop. Don’t like it. Perhaps I had found my level in 7.5mg, but I could sense the food noise creeping back..

CoolLimeSheep · 31/07/2025 10:48

Update put a couple of pound on but ive been exercising a hell of alot and checked muscle mass and fat mass.
Muscle mass gone up and fat mass now in healthy range
Which is good but still hard seeing scales go up it's like my brain cant comprehend the logic 😂
@SpiralSister @Zibb I know exactly what you mean my bum just feels like pure bone so uncomfortable 🤣 ive got cushioned seat on my bike and still think I need get something else to cushion it more

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 31/07/2025 11:25

Oddly I quite like feeling my hip bones and ribs but I still have enough padding on my bum.

Not at all unexpected July has been my slowest month by far. Will focus on losing these last few lbs in August and then maintain from September on.

I've done enough with weight loss for now - not least for my mind I need to do something different now.

usedtobeaylis · 31/07/2025 12:47

I don't like feeling my bones and find the loss of fat from my backside uncomfortable. Abut I do like the emergence of my collarbone and jaw line. I feel my jaw quite a lot tbh 😆

😂

I feel mine too, but a bit despairingly 😂

I mean, where has all this extra skin come from?!

SpiralSister · 31/07/2025 13:14

Collarbones though - loving them. I’d forgotten that collarbones can look sexy. I need to dress to show that off instead, now that the cleavage is a wrinkled travesty of its former glory (that’s age though, not weight loss!)

I met a friend unexpectedly at the weekend, she’s a plain speaker love her, and she said ‘at least you haven’t lost your tits!’ 😄

Mounjaroday · 31/07/2025 15:10

OMG I am bloody LOVING having smaller boobies and don’t miss my huge bazoongas at all. My old bras could fit on my head no problem 😂

Will set up our next thread (thread 7!) soon as we’re almost at the end of this one!

Haha. I think mine are growing! Started at 40D and I’m currently rocking a 32F…. What the hell? Only my underbust is shrinking, not my actual boobs!

MynameisJune · 31/07/2025 15:34

As someone with small boobs they are now none existent and if I had the money I’d be getting them done rather than fixing my saggy tummy but I can’t afford to do either so live with it I shall. It still beats being overweight!

SW (15 Feb 25): 19st 9lbs / BMI 44.4 (obese class 3)
CW: 15st 13lbs / BMI 36 (obese class 2)

Wk23 weigh in this morning (wk11 on 5mgs) … another 2lbs off this week - I’m into the 15’s!!

I’ve lost 19% of my starting weight and averaging 2.2lbs loss per week.

Goal: healthy BMI (between 18.5 and 24.9 (8.3st-11st) for my height) - so 4st 13lbs to go to get to top of range.

Well done 👏 your start weight was same as mine but I started last august your smashing it 😍 keep going 💪

PandaPeacock · 11/11/2025 21:32

Apologies if this is tmi but I’m still on 5mgs and I’m struggling with my bowel movements. I’m either constipated or have diarrhoea. The days I have a normal poo I actually do a happy dance! Anyone else going through this?

Mounjaroday · 11/11/2025 22:21

Hey @PandaPeacock 👋🏻

I can relate. If I don’t keep up with drinking lots of water and neglect to have enough fruit and veg, I do get rather bunged up. Loose bowels was usually a couple of days after injection and there didn’t seem to be much I could do about it. I’m titrating off now so everything is settling down again anyway.
