We’ve been out to the theatre today. I had my usual Greek yogurt with berries and seeds this morning. We had lunch at the theatre and the choices were hopeless for me. I ended up with a skanky vegan sausage roll. Wasn’t even nice! I also had a lemon sorbet in the interval, mainly because the theatre was boiling, but it was lush. First day I’ve been remotely “off plan” for three weeks so hopefully it will be fine. We just had an early dinner after the show. I had a gorgeous superfood salad with halloumi. It was so lovely I ate it all, even though it was huge! We’ve got friends staying overnight tomorrow as it’s a big event where I live. We are out for lunch again tomorrow and there will be a picnic/drink all afternoon/evening. This is going to be a challenging week!

Missed chatting on this thread this week. So much work. There's no way I would have been able to do this in my pre-MJ life. I have so much more energy, I'm sleeping better and I don't get distracted so easily. I can just focus and get things done.
Is it the mj or lack of booze?

People are starting to notice now and as no one knows apart from my husband I am having to be inventive in my responses. Currently saying I’ve completely cut carbs 😂

I hit my next stone bracket this morning, bang on 12st. That's 2st off since my heaviest in May 2024.

Tonight I finished my pen off and got 16 clicks out of a fifth jab. What's that all about? There was plenty of liquid left in the pen and it felt like it was so close to continue twisting, but both me and DP tried and couldn't get it to twist. I wonder what the next generation of pens will do about the extra liquid?

I think they’ll try to get rid of as much extra liquid as they can. They must hate us getting a freebie. Or else they’ll put out more scare stories re the golden dose.

As I understand it you have to get additional needles and syringes to get the golden dose, the pens run out of clicks after a certain amount of time. I am going to try with my current pen, ordered syringes and also small needles from UK Medi

I weighed in this morning, w6d6, 2nd month of 2.5mg and for the first time in 20 years, I weigh under 100kgs!

@Fatrosrhun not WL related, just wondered what you saw at the theatre!?! A fave hobby of mine !!!

It was A Thousand Splendid Suns, which was a book that I adored (by the author of The Kite Runner). It was very good. Made me cry!

Sorry, I understand about the “golden dose”. I was surprised by the extra 16 clicks I got out after already having 240 clicks.

Yes it is a bit weird! I’ve heard that some people are able to get it just by forcing it too.

My DP’s pen wasnt working this morning for his 4th dose so i got the syringe and got his 4th dose and it was really easy to do. Ive got the syringes recommended by someone on here. Im feeling quite confident about doing the 5th dose for myself now that iv used DP as a guinea pig!!! 🤣

Ooh well done! I’m also eagerly awaiting this milestone - I’m currently 101.5kg my lowest weight since 2020

Hi all. Sorry I’ve struggled to keep up with the thread , it moves so fast.

I stayed on 2.5mg for my second pen. The nausea is very strong for me the first 24-48 hours I struggle to eat at all. Not sure whether to move up to 5mg for my third pen.

Really pleased with my results after 6 weeks, no one has noticed yet. Or they’re too polite to say but this last week I’ve really double took myself in the mirror as I can notice.

Been very busy with work and travel this week. Tricky to navigate menus when staying away from home. Had to make the decision to stick with 3.75mg dose again this week as I was worried about SEs whilst travelling.
Im definitely a plodder when it comes to the weight loss now it’s six weeks 1 lb off this week but I’ll take that.

Morning losers -

Some great losses on here, good to hear people feeling positive and having more energy!

I went up to 5mg on Sunday night and spent Tuesday and Wednesday feeling really ick. Had awful reflux in the middle of the night thought I was going to be sick and didn’t have any gaviscon in the house. Wednesday I had to coordinate a conference for work off site and felt dreadful and exhausted but had to plaster on a smile and drag myself through the day before I could buy a huge bottle of gaviscon which did the trick and I’ve felt fine since. So nearly ate anything for 2 days and small amounts either side.

And I’ve put on 1lb!!! Why?! When I was solidly losing 2lb a week in 2.5mg? Demoralising feeling rubbish and putting on weight 😩 sorry for the pity post

End of week 5 I lost just under 1 pound. Bring my total loss to just under 11 pounds.
Had golden dose last week, and did 3.75 from my 5Mg oen for my 6th dose. Hoping for a good loss this week.

@hottubsundays Results like that are when I have to remind myself that bodies are weird, and that trusting the process is the only way. You are doing everything right. Keep your chin up.💐

I lost eleven stone last week!!!

My son moved out. 😂I missed checking in last week as I was busy helping him and his lovely gf relocate. I'm now officially an empty nester. It's SO quiet. Happy for them, and for me, but it's definitely an adjustment.

I also stretched my injection to eight days, and will do the same this week to gradually shift my usual Friday morning jab to a Sunday night instead. I have big weekend shindig coming up at the end of the month, and I really want to enjoy it instead of doing my usual feeling weak on the sofa all weekend long. Going that extra day on 3.75 has been fine. So far, it's a decent dose for me.

I have no hope of catching up, so I hope you are all doing okay!

Commiserations to those suffering side effects and gains, it can be rubbish.

I was reading the "I’m really upset I’m still fat" thread in AIBU and it's quite eye-opening reading the opinions of WLI from a wider audience. Makes me glad that I've kept schtum, despite so many of my colleagues and their mates being on it.

Sorry to hear about the nasty side effects, i hope they resolve quickly
i think i will also do a couple of weeks at 3.75mg when i get to my third pen (first of 5mg) just to ease the transition

non scale victory for me: my favourite baggy t-shirt is now officially too big!! I am delighted! This week i was able to wear two tops to work that i had not been able to wear for the past 3 years! Can’t wait to fit in my old clothes again!
i have started a bag for the charity shop, i am really keen to get rid of all my baggy, ugly clothes

2 psyllium husk tablets every day since Monday and we have results. Sort of. Nothing drastic although that’s good!! Better than nothing. Hopefully the effect builds up. I certainly won’t be stopping them any time soon.

Ive steadied out the loss and I’m happy with that.

I did golden dose this morning (using these Needles) and was super easy and got 65ml out of it. Who knew how jab happy we would get from the first weeks nerves 😆

New 2.5mg pen is here and ready for week 6 and my next mini target is 6lbs away. We got this 💪

Hi losers, well done to everyone on losses, sounds like there are some great results!

End of Week 6 and 7th jab today. Have lost absolutely nothing this week, ho hum. So I'm still at -10.5lbs in 6 weeks. Crikey, if it could get any slower! 🐢

I'm still on 2.5mg as my one jab up to 2.9mg put me off increasing and I still have decent suppression on 2.5mg. I'm tracking everything and keeping cals at 500 under TDEE so I'm a bit confused. 🤔 It also feels a bit personal as this is the weight I get to normally without WLI and can never get under! 🤷‍♀️

Anyone else who's stalled - what did you do to kickstart it again? Feeling a bit rubbish about it, and also getting bored of tracking! 😕 I've read about people stalling but thought that was further along in the process? Help!
