Did my weekly weigh-in this morning ahead of 3rd 5mg dose later today. Absolutely delighted to have lost another 3lbs to add to last week’s 4lb since starting 5mg and actually feeling any impact. Feels like 5mg is my sweet spot at the moment - minimal/manageable SEs and front-loading breakfast and lunch in anticipation of the evening’s hard stop is working really well. So despite my moaning about month 1 of 2.5/3.75mg having no effect and willpower getting me through any losses, it seems to have turned out for the best in the end!
I’d lost 6lbs in the week before starting MJ while I was waiting for the order to come etc, so a self-indulgent summary of the combined picture:
Age: 49 1/2
SW at Easter: 15st 4lbs
SW on MJ (25 April): 14st 12lbs
CW: 13st 10lbs
Losses:
Pre MJ = 6lbs
On 4 doses of 2.5/3.75mg = 9lbs
On 2 doses of 5mg = 7lbs
Total = 22lbs
Body fat % down -1.6%
BMI down 3% from 36.3 to 33.3
And a major win is blood pressure down from a scary 166/91 😬 to 114/67 🎉
