Just starting up a new thread!

Aaah! Found you all again!

Still hovering around 3.75/4mg and haven't lost a thing in weeks. Still at 4stone loss. Need to do two more weeks at this (due to a work trip) and u may push 5mg for all of Dec and try and get this bloody last stone gone.

In positive news, I went to Florida. I felt comfortable in the heat, 20k plus steps every single day, and just great (and had to buy shorts in two sizes smaller from Vinted before I went! I'm blooming delighted with that!

Slimwannabe · 07/11/2025 13:36

JunoRoma · 06/11/2025 10:53

Can't believe I now voluntarily speed walk daily and ride a bike. Or that I eat chia.

I can so relate to this. 😂

After a month on 4mg, I've taken 3.75mg this week. The very slow titration worked on the way up, so I'm hoping it will help on the way down too. I'm not expecting to come off tirzepatide completely, but I'd like to reduce the dose as much as I can and ideally also maintain a healthy weight.

It'll be really interesting to see how the titration down goes, hopefully it'll be smooth as you weren't on too high a dose.

People at work are now asking if I have lost weight, which I'm taking as a sign that I need new clothes. Still annoyed by my massively oversized new coat!

W50D07
Loss this week: +0.2 lb - so stayed the same really but I've had the last 3 Tuesdays of good losses (-2.4, -4, -2.8) so I'm OK with this
SW: 263.4 lb
CW: 152.6 lb
TL: 110.8 lb
TW: 143 lb - it feels close yet far lol

JunoRoma · 11/11/2025 10:23

I noticed on Shotsy that yesterday evening's dose was my 50th.
Stayed the same this week, which is what I was aiming for.

I'm still buying a few bits on Vinted here and there. Yesterday they changed their size categories. Previously an XL was a size 14 (what I am now). Now an XL is suddenly a size 20-22 (what I was convincing myself I was before, but I was actually probably a size bigger). The resulting confusion has worked better than anything else to address my Vinted scrolling habit.

Slimwannabe · 11/11/2025 22:45

@TrinityWaves those are great losses! I'm lucky to average 1.5lb per week so am very jealous! Do you mind me asking what your daily cals are? I'm wondering if it's the MJ affecting me differently or if it's just I do higher cals/slower defecit.

OP posts:
TrinityWaves · 12/11/2025 13:37

@JunoRoma 50 jabs sounds so much but I've found this year has gone so fasr!! Oh vinted, what have they done!? The sizing before always seemed quite harsh - a 14 is hardly XL but now to use dual sizing and to have updated all the adverts so they're wrong 🤦

@Slimwannabe - I know those 3 losses sound big but I have lots of plateaus so my average for the last 12 weeks is 1.6 lb per week, so the same as you. I'll stay the same for 1/2/3 weeks, then drop several. I do 1200 cals.

Goinghome25 · 13/11/2025 12:21

Maintenance update.

2nd week on 7.5mg and feeling a bit more "snacky" again. Ate a piece of chocolate cake yesterday - day before jab day - and felt a bit bleh afterwards. That will learn me!

Been very active though so that increases appetite.

Weighed in at 10.2 this week. My lowest has been 10.1 so tritating down seems to be keeping me stable for now.

Slimwannabe · 14/11/2025 00:18

Oh wow @TrinityWaves I usually do around 1800 cal. I think I would struggle with 1200 unless I cut a meal. My eating used to be quite disordered so I think the higher cals but 3 solid daily meals is probably better for me in terms of getting to a healthy eating pattern. Do you find it hard to restrict that much?

Congrats on maintenance so far @Goinghome25!

OP posts:
TrinityWaves · 14/11/2025 10:01

I would without MJ but because it keeps me on track I can stick to it. The issue I'm finding now is my sedentary TDEE is roughly just under 1700 to maintain my current weight and I'm obviously still trying to lose. I do a couple of aerobics classes a week but I have no idea how much they burn as I know this is notoriously hard to get an accurate figure for.

When I first started I would've probably lost on 2000+ calories as I was easily eating 2500-4000 a day last year.

Mounjaro DECEMBER Starters Thread 3
Slimwannabe · 14/11/2025 10:08

@TrinityWaves do you have a fitbit or similar to help track calorie burn? I know that they aren't 100% accurate but as they cross reference heart rate with height, weight etc, I think they give a rough idea. I'm assuming mine must be relatively accurate as I set my cal target based on losing 1.5lb per week and that's what I usually average out as, even though I eat some of my exercise cals.

OP posts:
TrinityWaves · 14/11/2025 10:45

No I don't, I'm very resistant to change 😂 but a smart watch would probably be very useful 💪

I have the most basic version of the fitbit and haven't set it up to get messages/calls etc - it literally just exists to track my exercise and sleep! 🤣

I have same. A Basic fitbit. You can sync it to nutracheck which is useful for tracking. I try not to eat my exercise cals so it gives me a bit of a buffer for snacky days towards the end of the week.

W51D07 (not quite a year though as 'week 0' was logged as 'week 1' but approaching my mounversary later next week as I started Dec -3d)
Loss this week: -1.8 lb
SW: 263.4 lb
CW: 150.8 lb
TL: 112.6 lb (so this has now hit 8 stone loss!)
TW: 143 lb - still feels close yet far lol

Amazing Trinity!!! What a difference a year makes 🩷

ShrankLastWinter · 20/11/2025 21:05

@TrinityWaves that’s completely wonderful!! I’m trying to imagine how we might all have felt a year ago if we’d known we could do this. So many emotions, it feels like vertigo.

TrinityWaves · 21/11/2025 10:51

Thanks going&shrank, it's just fabulous (for us all!!) I feel like a different person and actually had someone at work not recognise me (hadn't seen for some months).

NotMeNoNo · 21/11/2025 16:11

I seem to have plateau'd at about 68kg (BMI 27 ISH) which is annoying but still a big improvement on starting weight, I've lost 18kg. I couldn't tolerate 10mg Mounjaro, too much nausea, so went back to 7.5mg. This month I've switched to Wegovy because of the cost , nervously have first injection tonight. If it doesn't work I'll go back to Mounjaro though.

ShrankLastWinter · 21/11/2025 20:08

Good luck @NotMeNoNo ! Will be interested to hear how that goes.

My last MJ order was eyewateringly pricey compared with before Sept.

Wk 50
2 weeks to my 1 year Monjaversary! Met a old colleague today who has lost loads of weight. We chatted about portion control and mindful eating but I think we both know the truth 😂 we shared a breakfaat bap and she hardly touched her half.

Sw 13.7
Cw 10.1
New Gw 9.7

Lost 1lb this week. Have been maintaining on 7.5mg. So think I will stay on this dose and try to lose a bit more to get to middle of healrhy bmi before reducng to 5mg.

Lindy0070 · 22/11/2025 17:58

Haven’t posted for a while. Week 50 too just like @Goinghome25. Can’t believe it’s nearly been a year since we all started this!!! Stats are as follows:

SW 213lbs
CW 172lbs
TW 161lbs
BMI 27.8
11 pounds to go!!!

So, I have 11 pounds to go to my initial target weight!! I’m still carrying a belly but my legs in particular have toned up really well. I haven’t told anyone that I’m on MJ but it’s amazing how many people ask if you’re on it!!! I suppose I’ve never been able to lose weight in this amount and to sustain it for so many months!! Just hope it will stay off as I don’t know how long to stay on the MJ in the new year due to the cost. I’ve got a 15mg pen which I haven’t started yet and was looking to do half doses to cover two months.
I’m just so grateful to have found this forum where we’ve all supported each other and shared the highs and lows along this journey 💖

Slimwannabe · 23/11/2025 22:15

One week away from my mjversary and just 1.5lb off of 5.5st loss - fingers and toes crossed for that loss next week so that I hit that milestone, which will make for a fitting celebration!

SW: 273lb
CW: 197.5lb
TL: 75.5lb
