Loss this week: -4 lb
SW: 263.4 lb
CW: 154.8 lb
TL: 108.6 lb
TW: 143 lb (10st3) or 10 stone-anything would be awesome

4lb loss is awesome especially when youre getting close to your goal weight now.

Goinghome25 · 28/10/2025 10:43

Wow! Well done on the lifting. That is impressive! What a difference a year makes. Well done on maintaining. Especially over a holiday.

Goinghome25 · 29/10/2025 14:39

7 weeks since hitting my healthy bmi goal🙂

Sw 13.7
Gw 10.5
cw 10.1 bmi 24.1

Had a call with my provider this week. Agreed to start to tritate down from 10mg to 7.5mg. Think its time as I am still losing (slowly) on 10mg and feeling the suppression more strongly than before.

i am really really happy to be around 10st 🙂

Hoping that 5mg is my maintenance dose. We shall see...

JunoRoma · 30/10/2025 12:07

@Goinghome25 that sounds like a good plan.

I'm planning to reduce from 4mg to 3.75mg next week.

JunoRoma · 30/10/2025 12:21

It has taken time, but my self-perception is adjusting to me being this size, although I'm not yet accurate at looking at an item of clothing and judging whether it will fit me.

The significant change that has happened in the past month or so is how I feel when I see photos of myself before I lost the weight.
Six months ago: when I saw a photo from 2024, I would notice how much I've lost but it still looked like me.
Now: when I see photos from the same time period, my brain has difficulty accepting that the photo is of me - I literally don't recognise myself as that sized person, and there's a slight shock / mental dissonance every time.

ShrankLastWinter · 30/10/2025 15:07

Wow Trinity, you’re getting close now!

I’ve overdone it on holiday for a few days. Chocolate croissants and ice creams and 3 courses, though tried to make decent choices. Will see how it plays out on the scales. Learning to balance all this is a big new challenge.

I was 32.1 kg down when left and hoping to lose another 1kg over next few weeks, to take me to BMI under 24.

Yes same here with photos.
I actually didnt realise or accept in my head how overweight I was a year ago.
I remember losing 7lbs and thinking I had done amaziingly well😂
Im currently in a mental no mans land whete I can see how big I was but do not yet recognise myself in some slim photos 😂

Learning to balance is our next challenge after getting to healthy bmi. Glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday.

Thank you, I did! And I've come back 0.05kg heavier, including some ankle swelling from long journey. So, err, the worrybunnying was a bit silly. It seems likely that my definition of overdoing it has shifted too far into tofu and cabbage territory.

Having spent last few months pretty much stalled, i decided to slowly work my way up to 7..5mg. And its kick-started the losses again. The final 2kg seem within reach, potentially even within a month.

My milestone today is that im over 20% of starting weight lost. Which feel phenomenal.

JunoRoma · 03/11/2025 15:37

@OrangeDonald well done on reaching the 20% milestone! 🥳

Loss this week: -2.4 lb (after some stalls in September, the past few weeks have had better losses, so I guess it averages out)
SW: 263.4 lb
CW: 152.4 lb (so I now have a healthy BMI!)
TL: 111 lb
TW: 143 lb (10st3)

TrinityWaves · 04/11/2025 11:18

I'm unsure if it's achievable but I'd love to get to goal by Christmas or New Year!!

ShrankLastWinter · 04/11/2025 11:28

Happy healthy weight, @TrinityWaves!!

JunoRoma · 04/11/2025 13:28

@TrinityWaves 🥳 on reaching the BMI 25 milestone.
I've noticed that you have lost 50kg which is seriously impressive.

TrinityWaves · 04/11/2025 14:57

Thanks ladies! And, ooo have I - I rarely work in kilos but that's quite cool.

Goinghome25 · 04/11/2025 18:15

Well done on healthy bmi @TrinityWaves 🥳

ShrankLastWinter · 04/11/2025 22:53

50kg!!! That’s a very impressive rate for consistent and sustained loss. You should be out there sharing your tips!

🤣

yebbut lots of people do that and don’t manage 50kg off to healthy weight in under a year! Bloody well done!

I’m seriously pleased with shedding 32kg. Everything in my life is easier and less painful.

Still slooooowly working my way down through the last kilo or so. Was 0.25kg off my ultimate goal the other day, but fluctuating.

32kg is absolutely amazing and 0.25kg is pretty much at goal - well done!

I'm just one of those calories counters - I've average 1200 each week (more and less on different days). I haven't really done much exercise (I do walk places but I mean what counts as cardio). I started aerobics in May (I think?) as I just couldn't physically manage any classes before then. I still do have treats and junk, just within my allowance. My maintenance plan is much the same - calories within the TDEE thing, which I will double check but I think the calculators say 1600 (sedentary). I haven't even found MJ as effective as other people describe but it definitely takes the edge off which has allowed me to stick to it.

Slimwannabe · 05/11/2025 21:59

Bit behind in checking in! 4.5lb loss this week (byebye ovulation bloat), which takes me to 5st3lb total loss, and not far off the next stone bracket.

Rapidly approaching the one year anniversary point. Didn't think I'd still be jabbing at this point to be honest, and have both lost less weight than I hoped and more than I believed would be possible. Have lost over 25% of my body weight and am a whisker below 200lb for the first time in years.

Past the halfway point, another 3st or so to my "goal", although I may reduce that further depending on how I feel. Can't believe I now volunarily speed walk daily and ride a bike. Or that I eat chia.

I can so relate to this. 😂

After a month on 4mg, I've taken 3.75mg this week. The very slow titration worked on the way up, so I'm hoping it will help on the way down too. I'm not expecting to come off tirzepatide completely, but I'd like to reduce the dose as much as I can and ideally also maintain a healthy weight.
