Thank you to everyone for the kind words about my liver enzymes and kidney pain 💛Now I feel reassured about liver enzymes, I'm still being careful with liver and kidney supporting foods but not going to eat as many lentil stews etc. as I think that might have stalled me.
I'm focusing again on grams of protein (aiming for 100–150g) and carbs (less than 75g). I'm not counting calories or fat, as I want to feel more relaxed about food like I have the past couple of months. After my last week on 5mg MJ before the most recent blood tests (which were still improving), I took 10mg last wednesday and had a good week so far and finally started losing again after a month of stalling.
I'm now below a BMI of 30 technically just "overweight", and under 200 lbs / 90kg for the first time in at least 22 years.
@Lindy0070 I'm constantly considering tummy tuck, underarm tuck, inner thigh tuck... But for now I keep hoping that strength training, eating lots of protein and creams will help enough. I don’t expect to have no crepey skin, but it’d be nice to improve things enough without surgery. I've looked at things like laser and radio frequency too, as they might help tighten things a bit, but they’re also very expensive with less guaranteed results.
@TrinityWaves thank you very much for both methods you sent by video! I got excited when I saw one of them involved a 3D printer as we have a mini one, so I’ll try that, although the allen key method looks easier maybe. Am I right in thinking that with both methods you can’t measure how much you’re injecting? If so, that’s the main drawback, so I might try them for fun at some point when I have a good idea of how much is left, but still use the syringes and needles otherwise.
@ShrankLastWinter huge, huge, huge congratulations for hitting a BMI goal of 24.9!!!
@Goinghome25 that’s interesting that 7.5mg is working better than 10mg while titrating down, as it also worked best for me when going up I think!
@shrinkingfi That’s great about the cruise and still a loss!
@OrangeDonald enjoy the size 12 shopping!
@JunoRoma I'm glad you had a lovely holiday and hope the scales are behaving today!
I'm not finished with week 35 but as I had the time now to update my stats I'll send them now 😊
SW: 260lbs (18st 8lbs / 118kg)
CW (mid-week 35): 195.4lbs (13st 13.4lbs / 88.6kg)
TL: 64.6lbs / 4st 8.6lbs / 29.3kg
TL as % of SW: 24.8% weight loss (TL%)
Body composition stats:
- Fat Mass from 110.2lbs to 73.4lbs (-36.8lbs, equal to 33.4% fat mass reduction)
- Lean Mass from 149.8lbs to 122lbs (-27.8lbs, equal to 18.6% lean mass reduction which I'm happy with)
A different stat is looking at the ratios of what I've lost but that is a bit misleading i think, as they make it look like I've lost a lot of lean mass:
TL: 64.6 lbs of which
- Fat mass: 36.8 lbs, equal to 57.2% of TL
- Lean mass: 27.8 lbs, equal to 42.8% of TL
