@cloudjumper so sorry to hear this, you’re having a tough time at the moment, deepest sympathies, such difficult times.
@oncemorewithfeeling sending you sympathy too and hoping that your gain is wrong and it buggers off as soon as it arrived.

@HeavyHeidi well done, that’s amazing, brilliant loss last week! And good to know that the kitchen roll theory is true, I have a lot of flab! With you on the protein front, I’d live on fruit and veg with low protein too.

@MananaPenelope sorry to hear you’ve put on, it simply can’t be right. Hoping that tomorrow you’ll get a whoosh.

@meatyryvita, @BreezyPeer and @Laura7010 go!! Well done to you all🎉.

well done on all the other nsvs too!!! I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since this thread and little community started!

I’m looking at clothes atm, don’t want to
spend too much but would like a few things to wear that fit and I just can’t find any inspiration! And what’s with all the s/m/l that are 8-10, 12-14 etc, I need the right size!!

If anybody is getting discouraged becuse you've lost so many pounds but can't see as much difference as you hoped - I can confirm that paper towel theory is correct. Now that I'm close to goal, every tiny extra loss is visible. Don't give up because you stall!

Thank you, I needed to hear this! I’ve been stuck just above 10st for a couple of weeks now. I will be overjoyed when I see 9st something on the scales.

Thelittlestranger · 01/05/2025 11:27

@discov me too!! It's so frustrating!!! Today I reached the heady heights of 10 spot on. So damn close. But it's not official WI day so, will wait to see what Monday brings....

Noooo that’s so annoying! I was 10st 1.2 yesterday but 10st 1.8 on my ‘official’ weigh in day this morning. We will get there 🤞🏻

Jins · 01/05/2025 12:05

Sad times @cloudjumper and @0ncemorewithfee1ing. Thinking of you.

Weight static as at least 7.5m of my intestines feel inflamed and sore. Not see the doctor sore and not as sore as they have been but annoying nonetheless. If my mum were still around I’d be dosed with milk of magnesia which actually may not be a bad shout. Will see if I can pick some up

Jab day tomorrow and I’m pushing on with 7.5mg. I’m 10.8lbs away from goal so when I’ve finished this pen I’ll move down again.

Enjoy the sunshine everyone. I’m off to vote shortly and exercising my franchise may be the only exercise I do today. I’ll be glad when Friday arrives and the reporters go. All eyes are on us it seems

discov · 01/05/2025 14:55

I bought a pair of jeans from Vinted and they arrived today. I actually said out loud to myself ‘gosh they are small’ when I opened the package 😂 They are a waist 28 but I’ve found jeans to be so inconsistent across sizing. Got a W29 from Vinted a couple of weeks ago and they are huge, then another from the same brand fit fine.

I can surprisingly get them on but they are tight around my hips, to the point it hurts my hip bones! I don’t know if I seem to have massive hip bones as they stick out loads. Anyway I think they will be great if I lose another half a stone so I’m very pleased!

millenialmolly · 01/05/2025 16:18

Well done on the losses this week to those who’ve lost and let’s keep on those who’ve maintained/gained 🩷

I maintained this week, literally to the decimal! Feel it’s not justified but I think this is just what my body does now, I lost last week and don’t seem to have consecutive losses 😤 maybe if I weighed daily I’d see more of a change but this seems to be a trigger for me. Maybe something to work on.

HeavyHeidi · 01/05/2025 16:37

@millenialmolly I seem to be the same, tiny loss one week and whoosh the next, and not really that dependent on what I ate.

JoanCollinsDiva · 01/05/2025 16:59

millenialmolly
I maintained last week and pretty sure I have this week too - I can just tell I've not lost anything. I've had a few more unhealthy things this week, some chocolate, dominoes etc but still kept well below 1200 calories and I supposedly should be able to eat 1500 per day and lose 2lbs a week. That's bollocks though! Some days I don't reach 800. It's annoying but il just keep on going - there's no way im lowering my calories any further. It's definitely harder as you get slimmer - I imagine our bodies are trying to hold on to the remaining fat!

I took the last shot of my first 7.5mg pen on Sunday and I've definitely not felt as suppressed this week - I haven't had that nauseous feeling at all. I'm a bit worried I won't be ready to titrate down next month (juniper sent another 7.5 pen yesterday and then im supposed to be going to 5mg then 2.5mg) I just hope I can go back up if it stops working - otherwise I'll have to try and change to another provider.

Grecianrainbow · 01/05/2025 18:14

Weigh day and jab day tomorrow. Had a nsv today- took some shorts from last summer out of the wardrobe to put on and they were too big (18) so pulled a 16 from the too small pile and they fit!

I do have some 14s in there too - if they fit for the summer holidays that would be amazing!

DareDevil223 · 01/05/2025 19:21

Someone told me that I really didn't need to lose any more weight and was I sure that I didn't have body dysmorphia and think I'm much fatter than I am?

I was a bit Shock at that!

HeavyHeidi · 01/05/2025 19:29

ah yes those supportive and worried friends, posted about the same a few pages back. Just don't want us to get too skinny.
They weren't worried when we were too big, oddly.

BlueLimes · 01/05/2025 20:39

I can report Clarins double serum does not work on necks.
I might try Boots No7 serum next - has good reviews.

Zempy · 01/05/2025 20:40

I took a 7.5 dose today. Hopefully I won’t get the same side effects as I did last time I tried this dose. It’s been a really busy week in court, and of course you have to wear proper clothes, tailored.

I have been chuffed to be able to comfortably wear a small size 14 dress, and some size 12 black trousers. More of my court clothes can be Vinted over the weekend as just too baggy now.

I only lost a pound this week but that’s OK. I guess I’m smaller, so even though I rarely go over 800 calories, I am needing fewer and fewer.

Meeting DS for lunch in the sunshine tomorrow. Should be 25 degrees in London so I am looking forward to that. I absolutely love the heat.

Yeah I never got on with it. Over rated. I am using my regular Prai but it’s doing nothing. Waiting for feedback on the Trinny cream…

I find Prai doesn’t sink in. ROC also supposed to be good.

Grecianrainbow · 02/05/2025 06:44

I have stayed the same this week. Have just jabbed -but admittedly did have some chocolate etc in the evenings.
That is a bad habit that I am stopping a lot of the time but DH is still an evening sweet treat person and it’s hard not to have a little when it’s right there. I did eat less though. Clearly not “less enough “.

I think this has been my issue too- I’m still in a calorie deficit but a few snacks have crept in this week, particularly crisps and chocolate. Wasn’t interested in them at all a few weeks ago 😭 can’t put my finger on why I’m suddenly wanting these things again?!

I also maintained, fingers crossed for a whoosh for us next week 🤞

MananaPenelope · 02/05/2025 07:57

Morning everyone, I must have a good look at my neck after reading about all this diligence. It hasn't been on my radar/neglected.

Maintaining is better than a gain chaps 😂, I'm at 94.2kg this morning which is pants after being 93.2kg almost two weeks ago. No idea why, no snacking or overeating, no alcohol or anything like that. 😖apparently that emoji means confounded, whoever knew.

I think I might need to drop to 900 cals @Zempy which is crackers really but I suspect that my slight gain/zero loss is due to 1100-1200 cals a day.

Zempy · 02/05/2025 08:03

@MananaPenelope to me that emoji reads “constipated” which is entirely appropriate for this thread!!!

MananaPenelope · 02/05/2025 08:04

@Zempy 😂, I wasn't sure what it meant but when I hovered over it 'confounded' .... not too far away from constipated is it.

Oddly, since I had a few days of movicol last week and a week off MJ I have not had an issue!

MJalltheway · 02/05/2025 08:09

Week 15 D1
SW 101kg
CW 88.1kg
loss this week 0.2kg

tiny little loss this week. Either I've started to hit a plateau (not unexpected, I've lost 13% of my body weight now) or it's down to the hot weather - time will tell.
im not too worried though, have had a really good week. Still doing several exercise classes a week (at least 4) and really enjoying it. It feels good to just MOVE. 😁

Lovetoridemybicycle · 02/05/2025 08:30

Another one here buying funeral clothes (86 year old MIL- sad but not unexpected). I bought a size 24 and size 22 just in case. The 22 fits but is a bit snug which is how I suspect most of my clothes have looked for a long time. I've bought shapewear to see it that makes it better otherwise I'll be using the 24 probably only once. I'm also having the dilemma that I love the dress and would wear it at other times so do I keep them both if I need to use the 24 next week?!

DGonMJ · 02/05/2025 08:38

Morning all - did a short beginners yoga session this morning. PT will be proud. Now I’ve figured out the home tech setup I think I’ll try and do a longer session before everyone wakes up next week. I’m going to add a stretching class to fill the dumbbells gap just so I can keep the routine of getting up to do something good for my body before starting the day. Next weeks plan:
Mon - cardio
Tue - stretch
Wed - cardio
Thur - strength (dumbbells at home)
Fri - yoga
Sat - heavy weights at the gym

Day 2 of period and I’m down to 63.4kg today after weighing in at 63.9kg on Monday. 1 kilo to go!
