New thread as I am sure we will fill thread 2 up by the end of today!

Welcome back everyone and well done for all the losses. Some have 5-6 stone to lose, some have 2 stone and me I have put 4 stone but looking at the BMI chart I could lose 6 stone and still be in the healthy range.

@Flamethrowers
13 pounds in one week or five?

I'm a bit down as my w3 dose of 2.5mg is also having no effect and I'm worrying that MJ just isn't going to work for me at all. I might try splitting the rest of the pen into two slightly higher doses before moving on to 5mg.

I feel totally overwhelmed about the codes, discounts, price matching etc. I started with medexpress and got a good discount but now looking at 160 for the 5mg pen. I'm guessing I can get this cheaper but I'm not sure where or how... I guess I need to go through the whole process of applying again.

Same for me, absolutely 0 effects and I’m not losing weight either but I’m sure I saw that you had? Let’s try to be patient and remember this is actually probably better results as we need to learn better eating habits rather than relying on medication to stop us wanting to eat. I was miserable on Sunday and feeling as you are but I’ve made good food choices since and I’m proud of that 💪🏼

Also, use the website for codes/prices, filter it by the cheapest one and order 😜

CallMeStella · 08/04/2025 13:03

@taylorswift1989I filtered it for you based on the 5mg dose 😉

The loses don’t come the same for everyone unfortunately we have a boat load of changing hormones throughout the months to deal with as women. My old personal trainer (don’t have one any more) insisted that all women track daily but compared 4 weekly to be in the same place in a hormonal cycle. She is a professional natural body builder so an expert at the cutting cycle. Keep the faith, I’ve been using chat gpt to track calories on days when I think they will be high and give meal ideas

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 08/04/2025 13:38

Delayed jab 4 by a day as was away, abd was pretty sure the food options would be crsp - they were! So 2 days away and a late jab, but all good, felt OK, no bad effects from eating comparitively badly. Didn't over eat.

This morning felt maybe the suppression was wearing off but actually don't think so now, maybe just delayed kicking in.

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 08/04/2025 13:39

More NSV!! Took the DV to a theme park, bum fit in seats of roller coasters and rides (bit tight on sone but def more comfortable than it would have been 18lbs ago!

Also, was able to get in and out of log flume with ease!

@CallMeStella how do you filter in price order please?

Fatmumslim01 · 08/04/2025 13:39

@CallMeStella how do you filter in price order please?

I’m not sure if my photo loaded but by each dose at the top there are two small arrows, tap on the bottom one and it’ll filter by cheapest first.

Let me know if you manage to do it.

NewBoyMama · 08/04/2025 14:14

SW (calorie deficit) 19st 13lb
SW (MJ) 18st 11lb
CW 18st 3.8lb

GW - unsure!

thanks for the new thread! It’s so lovely reading everyone’s success stories and how you are finding it!
Just finishing week two of MJ and it’s changed my life already. So far have lost almost 8lb in the first two weeks and feeling so motivated.
I still have some food noise on 2.5mg but finding that I’m able to use will power to make better choices and ignore that noise. Thinking I’m going to stay on 2.5mg for now while losing weight as it’s obviously working and try to avoid going up on dosing if possible.
I have quite severe PCOS (never had natural unmedicated periods and needed fertility treatment) so quite hopeful it’s doing something to my insulin resistance!

Thanks lovely! I’m hoping that once I increase the dose the food noise will quieten 🙏🏼 I have binge eating disorder so I’m not doing anything ‘diet’ wise, just trying not to binge, my therapist for BED said to focus on 3 meals, 2 snacks a day, that’s my plan at the moment 😬 plus protein loaded items like shakes and yogurts

CallMeStella · 08/04/2025 14:17

I’ve been hunting for needles for the golden dose and I’m coming up short, apparently it has to be a 4mm or 6mm 1ml needle with syringe, has anyone here found any? If you have could you post a link for me please 🙏🏼

Oh I feel your pain with the constipation. I had it really bad on weeks 2 & 3 of 2.5 mg. What has helped me is 25ml of lactoluse every morning. And also if it's very bad Prune juice. I heard that bowels love routine and it took a few days to kick in but for the past 4 days I have gone each morning. (Before MJ it could be every 3 days).

Thanks so much. Yeah it’s been not ideal!!
ibe had senna, dulcolax and no change. Had prunes and prune juice today so hoping that helps. I pray for myself when it comes !!!

CallMeStella · 08/04/2025 14:40

Thanks my love! Just ordered them!😁

Overjiggly · 08/04/2025 15:11

@AddictedtoCrunchies amazing well done with your marathon! Such an achievement.

I tentatively injected 1.25mg on Sunday after not jabbing the week before (due to SE and being ill All ok no side effects and minimal food noise so I will go with 1.25 again on Thurs.

Had a mid week weigh and no movement on the scales but I'm not concerned as long as good choices are being made I know they'll shift eventually. (Although as I'm 1lb off a stone I'd really like them to move soon as 1 stone is my first treat to myself 😄)

PoundsLost · 08/04/2025 15:56

@taylorswift1989 and @CallMeStella - I m also plodding slowly and lacking suppression and lose (and side effects).

I did my 4th jab this morning and I have lost a mere 4.5lbs in total and I’ve been bloody hungry. I have ditched breakfast unless I can’t stand the hunger in which case I’ve had eggs but am essentially on omelettes or soup. Have ordered 5mg and am hoping very much that it all kicks in soon. Otherwise I’m a couple of hundred quid down and still in the fat jeans!

TheSpoonyNavyReader · 08/04/2025 16:12

Good afternoon all.

A very busy couple of days in the Spoony household, so only catching up with this thread.

Congratulations on the Marathon @AddictedtoCrunchies an amazing achievement.

Well done to all those that have lost weight, @PoundsLost it is still a loss and when you move up the doses you will see more results, we need to remember that 2.5mg is a loading dose.

My second wstipateek on 5ml and I still have not had any sickness, I am a little constipated but nothing to worry about BUT the feeling cold and dry lips are now in full swing, my suppression is high and feeling full, after small meals is quite frankly scary as I now wonder where I actually put it.

I am a daily weigher and can see lots of change on the scales, I am hoping that I reach 2 stone loss by the end of next week.

I weighed in at 11 st 8.5 today which blows my mind.

I couple of NSV are that my rings are very loose and now my leggings have been put in the bin as they are too big, I can also get into a pair of trousers that I last wore in June 2023. I have also got a tweed mini skirt that cost a fortune that I have never worn as I could never get into it, at the start of this I could not even get it past my bum but now I can put it on still cant zip it up as there is about 2 inches of fat in the way but I will get there.

I will update you all on Friday with my weight on Friday.

Have a great week everyone.

MJMabel · 08/04/2025 16:32

Just a quick update from me.

I’ve been trying my best but not seeing great results!

I’m week 4 day 5 and have lost 4.4kg / 9lbs.

SW 70kg
CW 65.6kg
GW 50kg

It’s odd, my calories are drastically down and I’m trying my best to stay hydrated, but seeing nothing like some of the dramatic weight losses that others are having. It seems to be slow and steady.

I’ve opted to stay at the 2.5mg mark for another month, that may have been a mistake, time will tell!

Am going to try to do the golden dose on Thursday.

Thanks everyone for all the posts, I really enjoy reading about everyone else’s journeys!

9lbs is a great loss, I am right in thinking that's not even a full four weeks yet if you are wk 4 day 5? Don't put yourself down your doing so well.

MJMabel · 08/04/2025 16:53

Thank you @Beinthepresent I’m going to keep on keeping on!

Crikeyalmighty · 08/04/2025 17:25

@MJMabel I suspect many who have had very big quick losses have often more to lose than yourself and hence are burning more daily just ‘existing’ and more water weight to lose- I know when I was 103kg I lost 5lbs 2 weeks on the trot without mounjaro by being drastic and my lower legs seemed to shrink really drastically - I think this time I will lose like you even with mounjaro as I’m less to start with and my legs aren’t carrying lower leg puffiness

I do get what you're saying but I'm just worried that I'm spending a lot of money for zero effects! I have good eating habits already and plenty of experience of dieting. What i need is for the food noise and constant hunger to calm down so I can actually use those good habits without being derailed! I'm just really hoping that 5mg makes the difference.

Thanks for sharing the comparison website - that helps me feel a bit less anxious!

tryingtobesogood · 08/04/2025 18:53

@taylorswift1989 5mg has made a big difference for me. Almost no side effects and I feel in control of food. I feel much better on it than I did on 2.5mg and am hopeful the weight loss will continue. I was worried that I was only losing because I felt too rubbish from the side effects.

I also seem to have more energy and have started a proper exercise regime so am expecting to tone up and get stronger.
