Welcome back everyone and well done for all the losses. Some have 5-6 stone to lose, some have 2 stone and me I have put 4 stone but looking at the BMI chart I could lose 6 stone and still be in the healthy range.

@Bipaloss I think you'll be fine, it definitely sounds like most went in and as you say you're getting good suppression.

As an FYI for others I'm with Phlo pharmacy and I sent them a screenshot from the price on MedExpress and asked if they would price match it. They immediately sent me a voucher for £50 off my next pen so it is definitely worth asking!

@MamaBanana12 constipation has been my main side effect too. A daily small glass of prune juice has definitely helped and I've also started taking magnesium citrate supplements as I want to help keep things regular without relying on medicine.

What I would say is pay attention to diet. Mine has been hit and miss but when I've had plenty of fibre the improvement is really noticeable. On Saturday I had oats, raspberries, mixed beans, green veg etc and it definitely had a positive effect the next day. So drink plenty of water and keep the fibre up.

I'm sticking with Asda again this month but from next month I'm going to look at switching each month to use codes etc, I've no need to worry about sticking with one pharmacy yet for maintenance as I'm a long way off a BMI of 30 but when it gets nearer to that time I'll stick with a pharmacy that offers maintenance plans

Do you know what the price would be with the £50 off for 2.5 or are you on higher? I'm finding it hard to find prices without going through the applications and I just wanted a compare price without first time discount codes etc.

That's week 2 done and dusted - 3lb off making a total of 10 which is unbelievable and sometimes I have to pinch myself (getting harder to do 😆) to believe it.

Managed a 6 mile canal hike today and am still alive which is a miracle!

I don’t update often but do read as I like to keep up with everything. It’s great reading how well everyone is doing 👍🏽
I’m coming up to the end of week 6, this is the second on 5mg.
I think I’ve been lucky, the only SE seems to be the feeling of sickness in the first couple of days, but so far I haven’t actually been sick.
I’ve lost 1st so far, which I’m happy with. Lots of suppression, I find it hard to eat enough some days.
I lost 3st last year doing a VLCD, so I realised today I’m 4st lighter than I was this time last year. I love how I’m excited about wearing summer clothes this year, not worried about what to wear.
I’m off work this week so I’ll be venturing into putting lots of clothes on Vinted!

Well done! I had the same and bought a bag of prunes from.Aldi. I eat 5 every day and it hugely helps.. no issues now

Hi everyone, keep meaning to check in as Friday was the end of week 4. It’s a mixed bag, I’ve lost a total of 10.8lb so far which isn’t very dramatic, and only 1lb on weeks 3 and 4. I’m still looking after my husband who’s been quite unwell so I know the slow loss is due to stress and poor sleep. But, I’ve resisted chocolate and other treats, and have been really good with my meals so hopefully things will start moving faster soon. The good news is that I’m now 99.88kg!!! And dh says the weight loss is noticeable around my waist already so I’ll take that.

I took the golden dose on Friday, managed 3.1mg which is great. I think I’ll go for 3.75 next and then up it to 5mg.

I've ordered another 5mg and got it for £129 but there are price comparison websites out there. I'm very happy with the service from Phlo so I wanted to stick with them but not at any cost.

So annoyed! Just done my 4th injection and realised after that the needle had bent and liquid was all over my leg. No idea how much was lost. I guess if my suppression eases quicker this week I could take the golden dose before next Tuesday?

I had something similar when I tried to force the pen for a golden dose. So I had to give up a start the new pen ☹️

Hi I'm on week 3 suppression is back after a feeble week 2. I'm realising that this isn't a easy fix. Definitely easier but still a bit of a slog. I have my 4th injection on Friday and then I'm off on holiday on Wednesday til Sunday. I was going to try and do the extra dose thing on Friday while im away. Is it a full dose?

I'm a bit down as my w3 dose of 2.5mg is also having no effect and I'm worrying that MJ just isn't going to work for me at all. I might try splitting the rest of the pen into two slightly higher doses before moving on to 5mg.

I feel totally overwhelmed about the codes, discounts, price matching etc. I started with medexpress and got a good discount but now looking at 160 for the 5mg pen. I'm guessing I can get this cheaper but I'm not sure where or how... I guess I need to go through the whole process of applying again.

Oh I feel your pain with the constipation. I had it really bad on weeks 2 & 3 of 2.5 mg. What has helped me is 25ml of lactoluse every morning. And also if it's very bad Prune juice. I heard that bowels love routine and it took a few days to kick in but for the past 4 days I have gone each morning. (Before MJ it could be every 3 days).

I am about to take my third jab. Bit disappointed because I have only lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks, despite eating very little, and making good choices around what I do eat. I have always lost weight slowly but I was hoping for better results. I can't say I have been hungry but I have definitely had to use will power to keep me eating healthy stuff. Looks like it's going to be a very long haul for me to lose 4 stone, I am in ireland so it's bloody expensive too.

not really sure of goal but would like to be a ‘normal ‘weight so definitely in the 60s.
I haven’t had any feelings of fullness or nausea etc and last weekend I wasn’t even noticing a reduction in my desire to snack. I am watching my calories but not obsessing over them however I ate and drank more than I would have liked to at the weekend. This makes me think I should increase dose again with the next pen but I’m not sure .

@taylorswift1989the cheapest 5mg one is currently from Pillsorted at £105.99 once the £50 discount is applied (see link). If keeping the price low is important, you will need to keep switching providers. The sign up is a bit of a faff but worth it I think. I already have more accounts than I need so I can get evidence when price matching with my regular pharmacy.

They all want to make profit and keep you coming back so it’s a game we have to play!

Not lost much weight yet but I have noticed that my hay fever has pretty much gone. Usually I have awful sinuses at this time of year and it’s miserable. Very happy about that!

I used Simple Online pharmacy. Really simple. Applied and approved on Saturday and arrived yesterday via DPD. It cost £133.i didnt need to upload proof of 2.5mg

Really disappointed that I still don’t have any suppression after my second dose yesterday, last week was so hard, I was constantly hungry! 🥲

This seems bonkers. Week 5 day 3 on 2.5 and I'm weighting in at 10stine 11 pounds which is a 13 pounds loss (worked out how to change measurement from kilo on machine) . This feels a bit too fast. I had a big breakfast. I don't want to hollow out like a deflated balloon or rebound gain. I asked the pharmacy if they would keep me on 2.5 till I reached a median healthy weight 22 bmi and they seemed ok with it
my side effects are fatigue (despite much much better sleep, sleeping though night because of snoring gone), and sometimes lightheadedness. I'm taking iron supplements and eating 1000-1200 per day. My protein is a bit low -it should be over 100 but I'm only getting to about 80. How do others manage?

my mood is also much more steady - no huge adhd lups and downs but that also means I'm getting lesss done
