that's amazing @alwaysscared - bravo!!!
Since getting the new scales I seem to be gaining and losing the same 2 kgs. My weight is up and down and I can be 2kg heavier on one day to the next. So I paused the daily weighing.
This morning though is showing a proper loss (I think). I know I am losing weight!!! I see it & feel it.
SW 124 kg / BMI 41
CW 94.8 kg / BMI 31.6
Loss to date: 29.2 kilos - google tells me that is nearly 5 stone. Is that right???
MFP records go back to 2011 - 94.8kg is the lightest I have been since I started those records and probably for a few years before then too.
I'm in the 14's now - 14 stone 13lb!!! So keeping the pace with WLISister @Darlinghag
Well done everyone for your ongoing losses & achievements!!!
I'm packing for a 3 week trip to visit family & friends in NZ - trying on clothes, putting together a nice wardrobe, with some new pieces & old favourites I can fit/wear again. Instead of a dreaded chore, I've thoroughly enjoyed spending time putting my holiday wardrobe together. I'm taking some of my lovelier "too big" dresses for my sister including a couple of one off dresses I made (I did ask her first and she was very happy I offered).
I am thrilled with the exercise aspect of this adventure. If you haven't heard me bang on about it already 😁 I have been doing hot yoga since mid-November. I started back with very gentle yoga/gym back in August and I was wanting to throw up everytime I bent forward. I progressed slowly but steadily as I was going to gym about 5 times a week. Then in mid November I switched gym membership for hot pod yoga membership as I decided I wanted to do more yoga and more intenstive yoga. Its been a life changing decision. I do 7-8 classes a week - some intense and some quite gentle. I have become incredibly strong and flexible (comparitively). The progress I have made has been amazing - turning up, being consistent, doing something I really enjoy - all really pays off. I can feel muscles all over my body now. And its very toning too. My B belly has dramatically reduced (though as if by magic it reappears in gigantic form in a shoulder stand 🧘🏼♂️🤣). The best thing is how good I feel now during and after a class and how strong my arms/shoulders/legs are and how twisty I've become. Every week my body can make new shapes previously unavailable. Its wonderful.
On the flip side I'm not doing enough walking. The upcoming holiday will involve a lot of walking and I'm hoping I can maintain new walking habits when I am back at home.
Off for breakfast 🥝🥝 and to make soup for this weeks lunches.
