Haha yes @Vegemite123 very clever indeed!
Definitely check out the sales - patterned and colourful ones are always discounted well, you’ll certainly be able to snap up a bargain.

Morning all
W23D1
SW 17'10
CW 15'5

My second week of gaining weight this week, after my blip 2 weeks ago. 3 pounds on instead of a loss.

Its been a rough week food wise, had barely any suppression and been a complete pig, topped off with one of the DC's birthday yesterday so we had a party with plenty of food and drink etc, and I had little control 😬

However, i did some trying on of clothes, I have not worn for a couple of years, since my loss with SW and I have a good few outfits that range from being "fit but snug, would be better with another half a stone off" to "excellent, new clothes!" so this will spur me on this week I think.

Good luck everyone and keep going!

Forgot to add, am moving up to 12.5 this week too!

igivein · 31/03/2025 11:22

Fingers crossed for you @DeltaAlphaDelta79 - you've got this!

Thank you!

Fizzleawayyy1 · 31/03/2025 14:53

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 Good luck for 12.5 this week. That 3lbs will be gone before you know it.

@recklessgran 3lbs off you after a blip! wooo!

@hopeishere your NSV is fantastic! well done. Bet you are super pleased.

@fourquenelles 3 stone is fantastic. Bet you are feeling so much better now.

@EVK You got this, at least you have nearly 8 weeks left of medication before you come off it. I honestly don't know what I will do when I get to goal. I think I will be on it for years but at the same time I don't know if I want to spend £100 a month on it to maintain.... and if I buy a higher dose and take a lower dose then it will get to the point its too long between pens to get it. Iv currently got 2 full pens and half of another one because I keep buying them every month and taking lower doses from higher pens.

@surreygirl1987 GO US!! I'm hoping I have a lower appetite on holiday too!! I do normally but we will see. Enjoy your holiday.

@TheOtherSide21 7 BLOODY STONE!!!! well done, that's amazing. I am jealous.

@exhaustedandwholly Welcome back! MN are fickle! My boobs have dropped a size and they weren't very big to begin with but Id rather smaller boobs and smaller body ha ha

@igivein 5 STONE!!! again, I am jealous!! Wish I was at 5 stone. Well done. Enjoy your chocolates. I told my husband I wanted NO chocolate for mothers day as we have loads already!

@Vegemite123 24% is great! Well done at being below the goal weight! If your skinny clothing is too big then maybe treat yourself to 1 or 2 new things a month. I have so many clothes at home in smaller sizes I don't think I will need anything new.

@EVK Listening to that video now and surprised at the mental health section but I haven't experienced any mood changes and the risk seems high!!

Pegsmum · 31/03/2025 16:55

Can I ask those that have now moved onto 12.5, how is it treating you? I’m on my first week of 12.5, day 4 and I’m not loving it! Suppression is very high but side effects that I’ve not experienced before are making me think about lowering for my second jab. My suppression had become very low on 10mg, that is why I moved up. How is everyone coping?

hopeishere · 31/03/2025 18:13

I’m actually still on 5mg! I’m losing a steady 2lbs a week and am happy with that. I’m down three stone now.

HappyNewt · 31/03/2025 18:53

Just looked back to my start measurements...
18cm off hips
20cm off waist
Happy with that!!!
17kg off...so far...somewhere between 6kg and 10kg to go, I think...depending on where I lose it from....and how I feel about how I look once I get lower...still losing steadily without any sudden drops so I'm hoping what I am eating and how I'm exercising is helping create sustainable good habits....

Bluenose1966 · 31/03/2025 18:59

@Fizzleawayyy1 I also have a couple of high dose pens in reserve which will last me a while as taking lower doses. My intention is to go on the Oushk £15 monthly maintenance plan, so that if I do need to go back on in the year I can. In fact I think I would get at least one pen towards the end of the 12 months maintenance so I am still eligible for the following 12 months as my safety net. The pharmacists obviously can’t sanction the use of a pen longer than 30 days so my thinking is at least if I am on flex plan I am still within their rules for prescribing if required. Think there are some providers that don’t even charge the £15 per month but I have used them for a while so will stick with them.

TheChosenTwo · 31/03/2025 19:48

Just done the same @HappyNewt !
16cms from my shoulders
8cms from upper arm
12cms from my chest
20cms from my hips
14cms from my thigh
7cms from my calf
(only measured limbs on the left side cos it was hard to do the right!)
4st down in 22 weeks, probably another stone to go but my goodness I can hardly recognise me from my before photos. Progress has slowed right down now, 1lb off most
weeks, but I will continue.

That's great.
Particularly good to see the difference on a slow kg loss week!!!
I did do other measurements, but evidently wrote them down somewhere else!!!!

TheChosenTwo · 31/03/2025 20:29

😂 I’ve kept track of things in an old work diary, weekly weigh in results, weekly losses and monthly measurements.
It’s really motivating doing the monthly measuring I must say. Certain areas seem to move very slowly but it’s all progress and so worth doing. I wish I’d take more at the beginning tbh!

Fizzleawayyy1 · 01/04/2025 09:24

I want to take my measurements but I cant. I cannot find a tape measure anywhere and I swear we have like 4 in this house!! ahhh!

sushinelove · 01/04/2025 12:33

has anyone had regular side effects with 7.5mg?
moved up to it 3 weeks ago, first week fine and last 2 jags has left me with horrendous vomiting and diarrhoea. It’s come on like clockwork on the 2nd day after jag and I e had to call in sick to work. Suppression on 5mg wasn’t really there anymore and little weight loss, but at least I could keep food down. Should I just drop back down to 5mg or keep on trying in the hope I adjust? Any thoughts?

Fizzleawayyy1 · 01/04/2025 16:13

Found the tape measure.. I only measure a few places. Never my arms for some reason... but

25cm off my hips
14cm off my waist
10cm off my bust and 10cm off from under my bust!
12cm from my thigh

Iv took 7.5 for nearly 3 pens and my only constant is constipation now and again.
I haven't had any sickness at all.
Could you drop to 6.5?

JustKeepsBreathing · 01/04/2025 18:09

Well 7.5 mg was awful for side effects so I dropped back to 7 last week and took another 7 mg dose yesterday as dose number 25.

Lost 2lb over the last 2 weeks.
I’ve now lost 24% of my starting weight. 🥳

Total weight loss is now 3 stone and 9 lbs
SW 15 stone 1 lb
CW 11 stone 6 lbs
GW 10 stone 3 lbs

I’m slowly replacing clothes (cost of living 😧) and rediscovering clothes at the back of my wardrobe. A bit disappointed that I didn’t take measurements at the start but I can feel the difference in my clothes. And my bra band size has dropped from a 40 to a 34 😀

Some really impressive losses here but also chops to all the ladies losing slowly and sticking with it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Good luck this week, everyone x

lapuf · 01/04/2025 19:57

Hey everyone! Some brilliant losses and updates 👏 I’ve taken my eye off the ball a bit and had a minor gain for the week for the first time (after five social occasions in seven days, highly unusual) but it’s back off again today at 9st 4. I’m focusing on toning even more now as so near 9st. I just did a plank in a loose top, I can do 2 mins so my core is ok, but my diastis recti (spelling?) looked really saggy and separated when confronted with gravity Grin Need a plan as the fat made it look ok I think! Bit like face wrinkles plumping out.

TheChosenTwo · 01/04/2025 20:05

Haha @lapuf I’ve got 8 meals out over the next 12 days, I’m using quite a bit of willpower at the moment as 10mg doesn’t seem to be doing much for me but I’m rising to the challenge so far. The next 2 weigh ins will be interesting! I’ve not had one gain in 22 weeks… so far 😂

lapuf · 01/04/2025 20:07

I was pretty careful @TheChosenTwoso reckon it was water retention from salt maybe? My suppression is still pretty strong even sticking at 5mg and I can’t override it (I tried once with dirty fries from M&S and regretted it Blush)

sushinelove · 01/04/2025 20:43

Thanks @JustKeepsBreathing im
going to have to drop down I honestly can’t be like this every week. 2 days ill and a third where I’m exhausted. I think I’m more annoyed because I had one month on 2.5 and then moved to 5, staying on that for 3 months with no issues. Obviously too complacent! Mounjaro has been such a game changer for me and I’m keen not to be put off

Mrsmajeeka · 01/04/2025 21:47

@JustKeepsBreathing our stats are very similar, can I ask how tall you are? Just trying to work out what to set my final goal at.

SW 14st12lb
CW 11st5.7lb (0.7lb to get to BMI 25!!)

first goal weight when I started I set at 10st7lb and I’m 5’7” so that would give me a BMI of 23 but I’m not sure if I should aim lower as I still feel my belly is a bit wobbly and not sure that will go by 10st7lb!

@Mrsmajeeka Yes we are very similar 😀 I’m 5 ft 8 so my GW of 10 stone 3 lbs may be too low (a bmi around 21). But I’m gonna keep aiming for it as I want a buffer zone, also I’m aware I’ve lost muscle so could well naturally put on weight when I build it back up. X

Mrsmajeeka · 02/04/2025 18:39

@JustKeepsBreathing thanks, I can’t make my mind up but guess I’ll just see when I get there. I hit a BMI of 24.9 today, I’m not sure if I believed in October when I started this that I would get here, but here I am. Going away for Easter so will aim to maintain for the next few weeks and assess where I am when back!

Congratulations!
I think being flexible is a good idea. To be honest, I’m still struggling with side effects and starting to think I should start tapering down over the next few months. And see if I can properly commit to regular weight training when I’m not always feeling tired/sick. Have a lovely Easter 🐣
