Ive just filled in the online forms/photos for mounjaro with Juniper. Can anyone tell me what to expect next? How long until you receive your pens (assuming I'll be accepted)?

Good luck with starting! Cant say for that pharmacy but with mine (Chemist 4U) I submitted my consultation on Monday and it was all done and jab received that Friday

Had my first yesterday morning, started with a headache and nausea last night. Today has been horrendous with sickness, lost count how many times I've been sick, can't keep anything down. Feel like this journey me be over for me as soon as its started If this is how it's going to be 😭

Oh no that sounds really hard! Do you think you had eaten something heavy maybe?

My GP told me when I asked about side effects that the gastro ones settle after a few weeks so worth having that in mind

Hello! I ordered with Juniper. Very fast. Got approved within 24 hours and pen arrived next day. Good luck!

I had this, it did pass and been fine since. I'm going to do my second jab as planned Friday but if it makes me feel like that again I'm going to come off it. I actually feel great now but omg those 24 to 48 hours were awful, hope you're feeling better soon.

Yes I had trouble sleeping but I've been ok the last two nights, I'm due my next jab tomorrow so I'd day it was nights 1 - 4 that I struggled a bit, although some of that may have been all of the extra water I was drinking and I do occasionally have poor night sleep due to perimenopause

@stilllovingmysleep I slept terribly the first night of taking my 1st jab but been ok since.

@QueenBarbs that sounds awful! Give it time and it will subside. If not maybe try another type of injection.

I can't think that I had anything heavy, as I was mindful of starting it so tried to eat sensibly.
Good to know what the BP said about the gastro side of things, hopefully that is the case.

Oh that's given me hope then that is may soon pass. Today has been brutal.

Yeah for me it was worse than norovirus- so painful, sweating, jittery, sick, really loose bowels and I got quite upset knowing I'd chosen to do it to myself. However touch wood felt great since then, I am nervous for Friday but will let you know how it goes!

W2D2 and I’ve felt hungry-ish all day and kind of wonky. Like my energy levels are out of whack. But again it’s my stomach that’s hungry and not my head so I can ignore it.

im on w1, day 6 and have had no side effects ts other than sleep like @stilllovingmysleep , im waking a few times a night. Ive been doing more exercise than normal too and v tired when i go to bed, so odd but I’ll take it!!
I have t had much suppression as such or not noticeably but I’m definitely eating less and able to go for longer without thinking about food. I’m average 1200-1300 calories a day, all healthy stuff, high protein, healthy carbs, pulses, lots of veg and some fruit. I have had a few Twiglets which we’ve got left from Christmas but I’ve counted them and having just a few.
im in Edinburgh with work tomorrow. V early start and late home, also out for lunch but have looked at the menu and going to have steak and salad, that’ll probably do me all day!
looking forward to weighing Thursday morning and next dose prob tomorrow night!

Oh this is annoying! I reordered mine on Sunday and just got confirmationsit is approved, I am wondering if it’ll be delayed.

My thought is I take a small portion and dan have more if needed, rarely want a second serving. Left overs can always go in the fridge.

What happened with MedExpress? I've had great service so far.

W1D2 for me. Went out for lunch with work. Three courses and I couldn’t finish the main. I’m still stuffed now and we ate at 2pm. Not sure I’m going to bother with dinner.

Has anyone else noticed a horrid taste in their mouth? I drink lots of water anyway so I don’t think it’s lack of fluid. I had this when I took Wegovy last year and I can’t remember being able to get rid of it. It only went when I stopped the jab due to persistent diarrhoea. So far no issues in that front but it’s early days.

They have said they are refunding me - I shall not hold my breath and prepare to chase that.

they just didn’t dispatch it, they kept giving me the run around. Ordered it 2nd Jan. 48 hours with IQ !!

First pen arrived on Friday and I finally did my first dose tonight. I wanted to wait until tonight as I’m working from home tomorrow so I want to be near the toilet in case I need it…

I was shaking when I was preparing the pen, convinced I was going to make a mistake, and it looked like so much liquid to inject- really hope I’ve got it right. I’m terrified of gastro side effects I’ve read about on here and other sites.

I’m going to get some Rennies in, but has anyone tried peppermint oil capsules for indigestion? Are these okay alongside mounjaro?

Can anyone tell me if they received a confirmation email when they placed their order with Juniper? I ordered this morning and haven't heard a peep. I would've at least expected an email. I'm worried I've been scammed!

Week 3 day 5, lost 11lbs in first 2 weeks but I'm really struggling this week.

I am. Definitely still eating much less but I haven't found myself being able to say no as much. Some has been down to bad planning and I have been eating really healthily on the whole.

I've been under 1200 cals every day but over today (1600) and feel awful about it, even though I know it's still a good deficit.
