Weigh in day for me, week 14. I'm on the steadier side of losing. Didn't want to lose much muscle mass or hair so I've been eating even when I don't really feel like it. Also hoping that steadier means my body will adjust as I go as I'm not planning on staying on a maintenance dose (I imagine I will regret this! Blush but I'm a right tightarse with things like this Grin) but still envious of the bigger losses of course!
SW 11 11.2
CW 10 1.4
I did my fourth shot of 5mg last night and no side effects, even the metal mouth taste seems to have gone.

femininomenon · 27/01/2025 20:10

Thanks all for the advice, thankfully feeling much better this evening just absolutely knackered but I have been for 48 hours after jabbing ever since starting 7.5.

JustKeepsBreathing · 27/01/2025 20:43

Weekly weigh-in. Lost 2 lbs this week - happy with that 😀

Took my 16th dose today - another 5mg.

Total weight loss is now 2 stone and 10 lbs.
SW 15 stone 1 lb
CW 12 stone 5 lbs
GW 10 stone 3 lbs

People definitely noticing now - and commenting… but not too intrusive thank goodness. And I finally bought some new clothes which feels really positive - 2 sizes down! I definitely need to do more weight training though.
Good luck to everyone this week x

RunSlowTalkFast · 27/01/2025 21:37

@recklessgran @letshavetea I started the first week of October and have lost 8lbs, going from 12st 9lbs to 12st 1lb. I've been lucky that at least I haven't had any of the bad side effects, took the bonus dose of my 7.5mg pen last week which was just under 9mg I think so going to go up to 10mg later this week.

Even the slow losers thread lose too fast for me to feel like I fit in there!

Gosh we are still tracking very closely . I started at 14.12.5 and was 12.1.5 on sat. I’m on ten mg though, also just taken my 16th dose. So a pound and a half In it.

On people noticing, my husband was away for work for the full week, and came back early evening yesterday and has now made multiple comments about how much weight I’ve lost. He normally sees me daily obvs. It’s like he’s just suddenly seen me and realised. 😂

EVK · 28/01/2025 07:35

Wow everyone, great losses fast or slow - everyone is so positive.

The exhaustion is definitely MJ - I’m the same, especially the first couple of days after jabbing. What I find incredible is that even 1mg can make such a difference to side effects. I did 4mgs instead of 5mgs this week as last week I felt sick and so tired. This week I’m so much better and even the suppression feels better. So, I guess 4mgs is my dose.

I would like to live an MJ free life soon - it’s silly but sometimes when people say how brilliantly I’ve lost the weight and make a comment like ‘and all on your own!’ I do feel a huge pang of guilt but I know getting here without the MJ would have been incredibly hard and I’m not sure I would have done it even with a steely will. I think I had a bit of a food addiction/habit which I needed to break first. I hope now that when I come off MJ, I will be able to maintain this because of how good it makes me feel.
Im going to the gym today after not managing to get there at all last week! I have been hill walking and attend a weekly Pilates class but need to get the gym going ! It’s sitting it in with work and home life ! #can only do our best!
@recklessgran you’re doing great- just keep going.
Live everyone’s posts - they keep
me going xx

letshavetea · 28/01/2025 09:58

@RunSlowTalkFast and @recklessgran We will get there!!
Really pleased to read about everyone else’s losses. This is a nice supportive group.

zerofucksgivenever · 28/01/2025 12:37

Well done everyone for sticking in !
Did anyone remember if there was a bigger suppression (or less food noise) once going up to 5mg from 2.5mg please?

TheAmazingShrinkingWoman · 28/01/2025 17:51

Just poking my head in to say total weight loss 2 stone 13.5 lb - 16 injections done. Life will never be the same again. I'm doing q few clicks under 7.5 as nausea is still troubling me.

Bluenose1966 · 28/01/2025 18:15

@zerofucksgivenever I found a massive difference between 2.5mg and 5mg. I literally have to force myself to eat the first few days after the injection.
i had to go up gradually though at 3.75mg for a few weeks first due to side effects.

Definitely for me. I also phased up with 3.75 for a whole pen (six jabs, went over 30 days)
This is my fourth week on 5 and very low food noise and high suppression. I thought about pushing my jab back a day on Sunday but I like my schedule at the moment!

niuwyoosername · 28/01/2025 19:53

I stayed on 5 for a second month in December and maintained my weight over Christmas, which I'm pleased about. I've gone up to 7.5 in January but don't seem to be getting much suppression this month. Is anyone else similar? I've lost 2st but seem to be stuck.

Also, I've been using Medexpress so far and the cost is increasing so wondered if anyone has found out where might be cheaper for 10 when I reorder please?

I found 7.5 didn't feel like much suppression at all, I was on it over Christmas though so a bit of a blessing in disguise.

Check monj.co.uk for the cheapest price at any the current time, I have used Zava, IQ doctor and Pharmacy2u (cheapest when I ordered 10mg a few weeks ago) and not had any issues with any of those.

niuwyoosername · 28/01/2025 20:36

@femininomenon thank you for that. Glad it's not just me. Will have a look..

I was the same - first few days don’t even really think about food - could almost go all day without eating! As @Bluenose1966 says, have to make myself eat. I’m on my second pen and still not doing full 5mgs as too many side effects- nausea and fatigue.
I’m on 50 clicks at the moment which is approximately 4mgs by my reckoning!

Losingthetimber · 29/01/2025 06:42

i found five made me very nauseated on the first injection for the first 4 days, it then wore off, then the second was the same, but much less, 3rd and 4th fine.

7,5 totally fine, I’d say mild suppression, but still suppressed.

10 then high suppression.

KnewYearKnewMe · 29/01/2025 18:38

Hi all,

Hope it's okay to join. I started 16th Oct.

Stayed in 2.5 until new year and have been on 3.75mg since then.

SW 104.6kg
CW 88.7 kg
Goal - ??

I'm 5'4"

I'd like some advise please - my weight loss has slowed down, probably lost a max of 2kg this month.

I still have excellent suppression on 3.75mg - does going up accelerate the weight loss, or if I still have suppression, should I stick until I don't?

I was in two minds because my suppression was good on 3.75 but the 5 has sped mine up

KnewYearKnewMe · 29/01/2025 19:14

That's good to see, @lapuf

(And thank you for attached the second image - I was puzzled with the first!!!).

I'm pretty shattered on the 3.75mg but no other side effects

I think I might do one more week on this, then see how I get on with 5.

lapuf · 29/01/2025 19:20

Sorry, I had limited photo access on the app BlushGrin
I've felt great on 5, I can only eat with my normal-ish appetite on day 7 so I still feel like I can have a good balance over the week.

Fizzleawayyy1 · 29/01/2025 20:59

Everyone looks like they are doing so well!

Sorry iv been MIA!! essentially I broke my phone and I only use MN from my phone and then I couldn't log into my account as I couldn't remember my password (new phone) and I don't have access to my old email to reset it so iv had to set up a new account.

Jan has been manic with work and ill family members and i just didn't find time to sit down and set it up. My son had a operation too so I was worried about that and it all took over.

However I am on track! I'm now on 7.5mg! second week and I think its working well.

Weigh in on Saturday. My current weigh loss is 42lbs off in 15 weeks which I'm happy with as I STS for 2 weeks.

Started at 16st 11lbs and I'm now 13st 11lbs! I still feel like I have sooo far to go and my holiday is only 9 weigh ins away. I wont be where I want to be which is a shame but hopefully I can at least get into the low 12 stone bracket?!

I'm going to go back through the thread now and have a proper catch up!!

ShineyHappyPeeple · 29/01/2025 21:02

I've been on 5mg for some time and am losing between 0.5 - 1kg a week. I'm struggling to eat enough.

I've really struggled with nausea and acid reflux particularly after a couple of days - I hear that mounjaro peaks at 48 hours.

I am going to have to make sure I'm eating enough and prioritising protein. Yesterday I only managed half a portion of lunch and I have felt dreadful all day today.

Fizzleawayyy1 · 29/01/2025 21:21

@KnewYearKnewMe Welcome! Iv always found going up a dose speeds up the lose for me personally too.

@EVK I wish i could stay on a lower dose, Im now on 7.5mg and hoping to stay on this for at least 2 pens!

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 2lbs gain after a holiday is amazing! iv put on over a stone in 10 nights before!!

@recklessgran I cant believe you are still being so ill if you try to go up a dose slightly! You are nearly at a stone which is brilliant! it wont be long!

@letshavetea Well done on nearly a stone loss! you got this... we will all get their in the end, just at different times and its not a race! keep at it 😀

@rockingbird well done! an amazing amount. I also had my hair done recently to make myself feel better! I'm trying to do lots of little things to have a nice glow up.

@lapuf Well done on getting your BMI under 25!! what an achievement.

@DogRuff Welcome to the thread. How are you getting on?
