Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

To 2025 one and all

@eeeeeeeee sorry about your rubbish pen, are you staying on 12.5mg or going up to 15mg next? I like having a little extra stock in the fridge!! Haha!! Some irrational bit of me thinks ‘what if there’s a sudden shortage & I don’t have any spare’!!

Haha that’s exactly me! It got a bit annoying when I was trying to defrost the fridge/freezer over Christmas though and couldn’t let my extra pens get cold 😂

I think I’m going to use my replacement 12.5mg, although I do have 15mg ready in the fridge! I think I want to see if the replacement is any better!

Princessandthepie · 28/12/2024 16:55

@Blondeshavemorefun voy just got really expensive on the 10mg pen and I had 2 full pens due to all the bonus doses building up and thought I'd rather not pay out in December 🤷‍♀️
December is expensive enough 🤣

Damn okay I’m definitely jealous of your lovely legs in that case! Currently trying to psyche myself up to go for a walk to tone up haha. I get what you mean though - my thigh weight loss has been stubborn.

Also you’re right - I should have binned the late delivery. I thought it would be okay as I’m using it within 30 days, but you’re right the temperature wasn’t controlled before it was first opened. Looks like we may be on 12.5mg together, as I may as well move on to my replacement 12.5mg pen now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/12/2024 17:09

Hi fives @eeeeeeeee

Med express £199) won't price check the lowest. Will only do chemists they mention and all are same as med or more

So not sure what to do

Either I swap now to someone new but don't want the hassle of swapping but I can't afford £200 a month /pen for 12.5

who are you all with now ?

Higher doses are def more costly 🥲🥲🥲

Weighed in this morning sts I'll take that!!

Went shopping today as I literally have no clothes that fit and I can't actually believe the sizes I brought. Two pairs of jeans, zero stretch and they were a size twelve!!! Also brought some nice jumpers and they were a mix of mediums and smalls... crazy to think in August I wouldn't have been able to squeeze into a 20 I wouldn't have thought if they didn't have stretch!

Here's a pic of one of the outfits I brought. The jeans are a bit jazzy for me but I liked them so thought go for it!

@owlyboo aww well done! That’s lovely. It’s weird isn’t it, when you lose weight and suddenly feel comfortable being more adventurous with clothes!

@Blondeshavemorefun I feel the same. I heard IQ doctor is cheaper whilst still supporting maintenance.

I may end up staying with MedExpress because of my BMI being under 25. They sent me a £5 off code recently (lol), hopefully they will keep offering things like that.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/12/2024 17:20

A whole £5 @eeeeeeeee Wow 😂

20bloodypounds · 28/12/2024 17:20

@owlyboo great photo - slim hips and a flat tummy.

@eeeeeeeee I'd have thought the same about the temperature being OK for 30 days. The range that is acceptable is quite large so I wouldn't have thought they would be so sensitive. My next pen was out of the fridge for a while (nosy visitors) so I'll need to look out for that.

I was out for a walk and brunch today, but could only manage half my food. Squeezed in another couple of mouthfuls but I wish I hadn't as I felt a bit overfull and sick all afternoon.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/12/2024 17:20

@owlyboo size 12 !! Wow. Shut up

As they say in towie

Well done !!

I've switched twice @Blondeshavemorefun and it's honestly no hassle. I've stuck with IQdoctor as they're among the cheapest and have regular discounts, not refer a friend discounts. You just need to do photos, photo of driving licence and include a receipt or some such showing previous prescription.

Nice outfit @owlyboo!

@owlyboo wow, that is some transformation - you look great!

owlyboo · 28/12/2024 17:33

Thanks all! The next 9lbs will definitely take me to being a comfortable 12 in all clothes I think. Which I'm more than happy with. But I will be the very top end of bmi so would like to lose a couple more for a buffer zone.

I would definitely like to tone in the new year.

I would definitely recommend taking yourselves out for a little shopping trip even if you're quite a way from target as I'm sure you'll see a massive difference in some new clothes. Gave me a real boost!

eeeeeeeee · 28/12/2024 17:41

@Blondeshavemorefun crying😂

@20bloodypounds ahhh glad you would have thought the same! I guess the cold chain was broken in my case. It has definitely been annoying having visitors over Christmas and trying to hide the mounjaro😅

@owlyboo that’s really nice advice. I agree - I went to Zara recently and got 2 dresses in a small which gave me a boost! I didn’t take photos though, not confident at all in front of the camera!

owlyboo · 28/12/2024 17:45

Weirdly whilst shopping today I overheard a mum and daughter discussing MJ. The daughter (pretty young I would say around 20, had just had a baby' said she was thinking of trying MJ in the new year. Her mum said 'as your mum I would say that's a really bad idea and I don't think you should do it' She then answered that she just wants to feel like herself again.... I was just stood there like 😳

Quite a tricky subject to be having casually in new look 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/12/2024 17:47

Just had. A look @weaseleyes Filled it all in and the. Says this

Has to stop when Bmi is 28

That's odd @Blondeshavemorefun - I wonder if they just haven't updated something. I've seen emails from people using them about maintenance, but I guess you could email and ask.

owlyboo · 28/12/2024 17:57

Yes I would say she would qualify. She looked around a size 20.

weaseleyes · 28/12/2024 18:00

I also don't get that statement if I go to reorder from them

Congratulations on your shopping trip! You’re looking amazing!🤩

The poor daughter ☹️-why do some people have to be so judgemental & critical instead of just supportive. It’s always the ones closest to us too.
In my case it was my daughter’s idea for me to try MJ!!

Aw, I guess it's the mum worrying her daughter would make herself ill with them if she's been listening to scare stories, or not liking to hear that her daughter's unhappy with herself. Not a helpful response, though!

owlyboo · 28/12/2024 18:38

I'm going to stick with chemist 4 u I think. I have a £20 off code and I'm close ish to goal and already discussed maintenance with them.

I have 2 doses left in my current pen (three if I can get out the bonus dose) it's not just deciding what I will order for my next pen. I think I'm just going to go to 15 as I've always gone up and it's worked well so far. Plus they're the same price so I can count clicks if it's to strong but harder to go up on a lower pen.
