Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

My sister loved a wee sherry, I used to say are you having a wee shezza blister (sister) miss her. Aw there will be a toast to all our special Mums with Baileys and Advocat, I've never tried that.

My skirt from m&s arrived last night, a non stretchy size 14 and it fits lovely. I'm going to wear it tomorrow for Christmas dinner. I'll post a wee pic 📸

I always made a point of buying some sickly sweet concoction Baileys or Dooleys or chocolate liqueur or similar to share with Mum at Christmas. It won't be the same without her.

I decided to weigh in a day early ^(then will ignore the scales til new year!) and have xmas gifted myself a -2lb loss. So that's 44lb/20kg loss since august 14th start 🦃 I feel astounded!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, however you may be spending it. I hope it is full of everything and anything that brings you joy and happiness.

I am going to have a great Christmas day as I have 8hrs of free electric! So the very expensive to run, convector heater, is on full power and the big oven will be on for a tasty roast turkey dinner. I cant tell you how these two things have made my Christmas!

Thinking of everyone on this thread today. Checking in from my hols. I am not very good at coping with Christmas and all it brings, so have been quiet recently. Although I am on 10 mg I have strayed well away from calories, healthy eating and no alcohol. Wishing each and everyone of you all the very best for 2025. Will be back in 2025 x

We had these salmon parcels last night with filo pastry, the inside was salmon topped with cream cheese mixed with stem ginger, spring onion, tarragon and lemon zest. When DH sent me the recipe I was like em... naw.... but it was lovely xx
