Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

I'm back to good eating. After my 2 days of not tracking I'm back to 1200

Tho I don't think I ate too badly 25/26

I am dithering however on 10 as usually I have suppression around 3/4 for a day and I didn't this week which was Xmas day

I have one dose bonus left in pen for next Fri

This prob won't be .6 so won't be a full 10

I'm wondering whether to go up to 12.5 using my last 10 and syringe 2.5 from my 5 that I found under my carrots as that's feb date so needs to be used

And then order 12.5

Med express keep emailing and texting and been a few weeks since ordered

Now sure what their longest wait is between orders

Hi everyone hope you're doing ok!!

Finally got brave enough to step on the scales this morning and I've stayed the same which I'm more than happy with as I've not worried about what I've eaten or drank.

But I did lay off the booze again from boxing day as I will admit, that was my downfall on my last weight loss journey, I did so well, lost 3 stones up til Xmas then found my way in to the booze cupboard and then didn't ever crawl back out of it!! 🙈

Plus I've not missed the hangovers so happy to refrain again.

I'm the same with pondering whether to order 12.5 or stay on 10 for another pen.. I need to make a decision by Wednesday though as only have bonus dose left on this one..
I'm just scared that I'm going to run out of doses if the next one isn't effective ??!! Decisions decisions but I think I'm going to do thigh tomorrow just to see if it does make any difference in terms of suppression and side effects ...

12.5 is around £200 apart from boots which is way more for all of them

Even if you didn't eaten anything high calorie @Changinghabits1973 you may just have eaten slightly differently - more salt, maybe? I do think sometimes just a slight change in routine has a temporary impact, either up or down.

I am still finding the cheese and chocolate somewhat tricky to resist, but nothing too terrible. As long as I can hold back from full on gorging I'll have made progress!

I ordered a new dress which arrived today. I haven't bought anything new as I'm pretty broke overall and I want to wait until I reach whatever weight I settle at. However, this was reduced from £50 to £15 and I couldn't resist just one new thing. It's a fairly straight up and down jersey dress that you just pull on, so quite a forgiving shape, but not a very loose tunic like I'd normally wear. I wasn't sure what size to get, but went for a 14 in the end as I thought even if I ended up thinner it wouldn't swamp me too much. Anyway, I can get it on! It'll definitely look better when I've lost maybe a stone more, but it was a good marker that there's been some progress. I'm not that fussed about clothes really, but it's nice to have one thing that I'll be able to wear that isn't old, shapeless and full of holes.

@Blondeshavemorefun I guess providers are cashing in on new year resolutions! I've used IQdoctor about 3 times now; they've been good, and seem much cheaper at 12.5mg (£153 rather than £200).

They have done gone up and doing supply and demand for Jan @weaseleyes

The only thing I can suggest is to avoid altogether because crap goes looking for crap. I read somewhere that one the reasons we eat more is because we're looking for nutrients, so make sure yoùve taken care of that - protein, fats and fibre.

@Blondeshavemorefun for some reason I get a different price list from that site, but maybe my cookies keep deluding me with an old one! Glad I got one more measly 5mg pen in before Christmas.

I may contemplate a photo when I look better in the dress @Blondeshavemorefun 😀- that'll be a few weeks off!

I can’t believe it’s been 5 months of MJ and we have got through Christmas together!!

I am having a weird experience on 12.5…think my pen might be dodgy as it was delivered late. I haven’t had much suppression and actually gained weight in December! But luckily I managed to lose that over Christmas, for an overall loss. I didn’t hold back for Christmas either so I’m glad I still managed to lose.

I now have around 7kg to ultimate goal, but worried about MedExpress cutting me off soon. Think I’m going to stick with 12.5mg for next pen, in case this one was less effective due to delivery issues. Don’t feel it makes sense to jump to 15mg when it feels I have less in my system? But then again I have titrated up each month.

wow MedExpress seem to be more expensive by around £50 for 12.5 and 15!

I have nice legs from knees down. Not thighs or hips - they are still massive

You have really nice legs full stop! Do you exercise? My legs used to be so toned but they are now stubbornly holding on to weight - I definitely need to do more cardio.

Sounds good - hopefully your 12.5 experience is better than mine. Mine arrived about a week after dispatch - I probably should have binned it but thought I’d try a few doses within the 30 days before switching to the replacement pen. Kinda regret that now.

For those already on 12.5mg, or thinking about it, what made you go up from 10mg? I was going to stick with 10mg, already have a couple more in the fridge, but they have long dates on so no need to hurry to use them, they could be used when titrating back down the doses when the time comes and I’ve reached my healthy weight( that still seems a bonkers thought for me to be thinking!!🤣)I still have some suppression on 10mg, weight is still coming off, although it has slowed down a bit. Although I have slight nausea the first day or two, I don’t have any nasty side effects. Just not sure really, whether to plod on with 10mg or try 12.5mg?🤔

I need a new supplier, I was with voy and now have 4 doses of 10mg left.

I do hope the January new resolutions do not effect the supply too much as I honestly don't think I'd manage without mj now!

@Glittermoonlight I have been titrating up each month☺️ I had no major side effects - my body has adjusted well to MJ. I tend to get a whoosh when starting a new dose, but towards the end of the month my weight loss slows/stalls and I don’t get much appetite suppression. The same happened with 10mg so I moved to 12.5mg.

I don’t think I would have consistently lost weight if I didn’t titrate up. I think I potentially may have hit a weight loss stall that titrating up cheekily allowed me to bypass?

Totally ignore me and my 12.5 woes haha because I’m pretty sure my pen is dodgy. It was delivered quite late and I just used it. It just hasn’t been effective, but I haven’t had any negative side effects (just little positive ones!)

I have done the same as you and have some extra pens in case I titrate down too!

My bmi is now 28! So would I still be allowed to buy it? I do hope I don't encounter issues when trying to get it from a new supplier!

@eeeeeeeee sorry about your rubbish pen, are you staying on 12.5mg or going up to 15mg next? I like having a little extra stock in the fridge!! Haha!! Some irrational bit of me thinks ‘what if there’s a sudden shortage & I don’t have any spare’!!

@eeeeeeeee thank you but trust me I don't from above the knees. Very fat /flabby and awful cellulite - but always had. The C . And def no thigh gap!!

@eeeeeeeee so you used a pen that hasn't been cold for a week. Yes I would have binned personally if had a replacement - they need to Stay cold before open /use them

Yes I'm going up @Glittermoonlight as not sure having the same suppression any more on 10 as had none this week and as you know I don't get a lot anyway

I think if you prove have been using so show your dashboard of bought pens or I've kept the boxes and torn off my name :address etx - then they should let you
