Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

@Blondeshavemorefun I think we're a similar height and 11 stone (or there about so few pounds over like I am now) is a size 12 for me as well. Been shopping again today as I NEEDED a new warm coat as I was starting to look ridiculous in mine, and it was a small! And still roomy! I can't really get my head around it! Dressing for what you like not what you can fit into is such a privilege.

@Azuresky68 sounds too good to be true! But who knows!

Just had 24 clicks of a 7.5 pen which in total makes 9ish I think. Will stop wittering now. 🤐

Weigh and jab day here and I’ve lost another lb. This takes me to -4st4/-60lbs/-27.2kg. Was initially a bit disappointed with 1b as I’ve eaten the same and exercised more, however, I didn’t have a ‘break’ over Xmas and still lost so I don’t know why I expected a whoosh?! Anyway, onwards and downwards!

My weigh day is Thursday, but then I usually weigh again on Saturday to confirm. This week is the first week I have 'officially' weighed since the 12th December as I was away for 3 weeks over Christmas and NY. I can confirm that in 4 weeks I have lost 1.5 pounds, which I am fine about. I always give myself a week off weighing after a holiday so I don't get downhearted about any gain after holiday food and drink. That works for me! 5.5 pounds left to my goal of 9 stone and BMI of 25.4. 7.5 pounds would bring me to 8 stone 11 pounds and top of the healthy BM1 24.9. I will be happy with 9 stone as I haven't been that weight for 32 years - pre first child pregnancy weight.
I am a bit obsessed with the threads right now as I find the last 7 pounds of any weight loss goal are a struggle, and reading/posting really helps. Thanks to everyone for being here. The snow and the threads have stopped me doing other things, so I am checking out for the weekend. Have a good one!

Just caught up with you lot, and read most of what ive missed.. I've missed loads.. Glad im part of this thread although i know i don't post much, i still love reading it all..
I weighed last monday and had no movement, still 14.6, had a cheeky little midweek weigh and its lower, but ill officially weigh monday..
so far im still happy with my 7.5, started my 2nd pen so 6th jab last week and still going well. I can finally eat now too as at the start i struggled a bit, didnt feel bad, just felt so full even after a spoonful of yoghurt.. but I'm back to being able to finish a small meal now without the feeling of exploding! ha..

So weigh day for me and I really wasn't expecting this! After 2 weeks of STS over Xmas I have lost a whopping 5lbs!! Taking me to 62 pound loss (9lb pre MJ) I'm one pound away from 4 and a half stone loss 😳 and 4lb from being in the healthy weight range. Can't really believe that if I'm honest! All feels slightly surreal!

The thread has moved at lightening speed again so not much chance of catching up properly but i hope youre all doing ok!

I've been trying to spend less time on my phone so haven't been around much.

I finally got voy to re-approve me so I'm back with them and have a new pen in the fridge. Asda never came back to me as to why they didn't approve me but I won't be rocking that boat again. So much for trying to save money but I did at least save 1 months payment.

Stepped on the scales this morning and I'm at 12 stone 8lbs which is a 1lb gain from the Xmas period. That's OK, I can live with that. Previous years would probably be at least half a stone gain so 1lb is nothing in comparison.

I definitely need to up my water intake but it's so bloody cold that the thought of drinking water is just so 🥶🥶🥶 so I've been drinking lots of tea instead.

Does anyone else get very patches of dry skin where they inject? My stomach is covered, some are worse than others but it's so annoying.

I jabbed earlier before leaving for the airport and I've no idea how much I've taken as the pen jammed.

I'm using the remainder of my second 7.5mg pen as a 10 so was hoping to do the 60 clicks followed by 20 as I did last week as it's worked quite well for me.

I should have just used a syringe but I was still half asleep so guestimated it was about 2/3 of a dose. I then withdrew 0.4 with a syringe to make up a full dose.

I'm hoping that someone who is slightly more awake than me can tell me what dose I've taken! It's either going to be a week away on the loo or a week away feeling hungry.......

I don't think it will, I've got itchy patches from a month old injection site, there's a line of them along my stomach. I can even feel the most recent one itching!

It's not the end of the world but could do without it.

.4 is 2/3 of a dose as .6 is a dose of whatever strength so I think you took 5mg via syringe plus your 5 which was 2/3 so guessing 10 in all

@Princessandthepie i had a period where my jab sites were itchy and discoloured and then it stopped, weird. Both on my legs and tummy. I wasn't doing anything different when they started. The patches were raised and dark, itchy and dry and it looked awful all these discoloured ovals. Hopefully it will pass with you. Xx

@Azuresky68 the Shemed company looks like it has a few conditions that come along with it. I read a thread on it on here and they wanted videos of you injecting each week etc. Stick to the 2 you're comfortable with, Cloud and Oushk. I'm sticking with Oushk after my video call yesterday. Xx

@poppym12 my last 2 pens were very difficult to press at 4th dose and nigh impossible for the bonus dose. I eventually managed it but I really should order some syringes as a back up if it jams completely. Xx

@nippycrab yep, that's exactly what I have! Some are worse than others but hopefully they will pass eventually!

@Princessandthepie all I could think about was me going on holiday with all these weird patches on my legs and tummy 😅 they will stop hopefully, I had an an antihistamine itch cream for a couple on my legs and that really helped. X

@Blondeshavemorefun I don't really know why I weigh twice! Some people weigh every day and I used. My weigh day is usually Thursday, then I like to reassure myself it wasn't a lucky weigh! I need to put my scales away until next Thursday!

Thread prize for @owlyboo this week! And very respectable losses, stasis and modest gains for everyone else.

These jamming pens are most annoying, and the weird mechanism makes it impossible to tell how much you've had with any accuracy. I might go back to just using a syringe all the time, but then I resent having to get stocks in myself and not using the neat little needles they supply.

Thanks everyone can't believe I had such a big loss this late in my journey but I'll take it! And the prize @weaseleyes 😂
