Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

@FlappingMadly well done on your NSV! I have 4 pairs of boots that I couldn't get into last year or the year before that fit now 🤣 It's a great feeling. I bought them all from Duo in different sales and was so pissed off that they didn't fit that I couldn't even face sending them back at the time.

On my second pen of 10mg. Today was dose 3, but I did the extra clicks to make it 12.5 mg (thanks @Blondeshavemorefun), so after 6 weeks on 10 mg now on 12.5 mg. New 12.mg pen arriving tomorrow, after that will hopefully start maintenance 😀

Thanks to everyone for nice feedback on my progress photos. I wish I had a full length one of me at 14 stone. I only have a photo of my face and it shocked me into the start of a very very long journey. I am too embarrassed to post it. Nobody can believe it's me 😱

@SilverSprings510 - I’ll start c25k at the weekend - I’ve acquired a treadmill to get started so I wont provide entertainment for the neighbours / panic them that I may need medical assistance! Hopefully by the time the weather is nicer I’ll be able to get to the bottom of the street go a mile more comfortably!

I seem to have dropped a bollock.

Just after Christmas we booked a week away, we depart on Saturday morning. As always, I've left everything until the last minute......tried my shorts and a couple of dresses on today before I start packing (or rather start thinking about starting to pack). They look ridiculous.

I thought one of the pairs of shorts might be ok with a belt. Nope. They look like I'm wearing a nappy. A big wet bulgy nappy.

I've got a couple of floaty dresses that will have to do but they swamp me.

I don't have time to go clothes shopping tomorrow as I need to sort my winter feet out and begin the 'deforestation'.

I'm not moaning as it's a good issue to be having and I'm very fortunate to be sneaking off for a week in the sun. I'm just mad at myself for not even thinking that I'd encounter an issue with my summer clothes not fitting. And even more annoyed that because I leave everything until the last minute, I'm going to look like I've been playing in someone's dressing up box all week. And basically annoyed that I do leave everything until the last minute.

So my friends, a word of warning......if you're planning a holiday whilst we're on this journey, make time beforehand for a shopping trip.

Don't worry! Just buy everything when you get there. There is a much better choice abroad and it's usually much cheaper. You won't need much for a week either. A great excuse to update your holiday wardrobe! Where are you going? I have picked up nice clothes in Portugal and Spain. A sundress, shorts and a few tops won't cost a fortune. I once took an empty backpack to Thailand and bought loads of clothes over there!

I was good and didn't nap today after my awful night last night, have done almost 20k steps so I'm hoping for maybe a better night 🤞I've never taken sleeping pills. Always scared of the groggy feeling people talk about the next day... hope the kick in quickly and get you back on track!

On my walk today I went flying on black ice so now have two swollen knees, both bruised, one cut up and a hole in my sweaty betty leggings 😭 oh and a very bruised ego! So embarrassing!!

I'm going to Fuerteventura. There are a couple of shops nearby but I don't think I'm in Zara sizes yet! Having been many times, I've often wondered where plus sized Spanish people shop for clothes as their chains only seem to go up to a UK 14.

Just got back from Corralejo..are you going there? Loads of shops there. The tourist shops and supermarkets have larger sizes/one size fits all. It's one of my favourite places over the last year. Weather is nice too!

I think might be sth to.do.with being on the app. I am not. Do you guys have the paid version?
