Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

To 2025 one and all

My 12.5 pen arrived the other day from iq so will use that next month and do 2mths on 12.5

Don't really want to go to 15 as that's top whack

owlyboo · 08/01/2025 18:55

@Blondeshavemorefun I wonder if that's it. Shouldn't be as should work right up until its date (and probably beyond) but who knows!!

I used my last 12.5 yesterday. Hopefully will get the bonus dose out next week... (don't like using the needles so always do the hard twist. Worked every time but once 🤞) then I'm onto the 15... hoping it might be my last/last but one before I get to goal and start working back down.

owlyboo · 08/01/2025 18:59

I get that @Blondeshavemorefun. The price is the same for 12.5 and 15 for me but I get not wanting to go up too quickly if there's still a few stone to lose. (Can't actually remember how much you have left!) To be fair for those worrying about going up too quickly the doctor did say something about that. I wasn't sure whether to post it as I know people worry already but I suppose all information is helpful

2 and a bit more stone to get to 11st which ideally I want to and then that will be 6s 4lb lost

But still can't imagine actually making it and losing 6st so ......

I also feel hungry! Having gone up to the giddy heights of 5mg for the first time, I feel rather cheated. Admittedly I'd crept up on it slowly, and was at about 4.6/.7 before, so it's not a huge leap, but I am still a little resentful 😀I was anticipating being on a straight 5mg for months, now I feel I might need to start stealth stalking 7.5. It may be that consuming some sugar over Christmas has destabilised me and I need to get back on course, so will see how I get on this week.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/01/2025 19:38

Yes post anything. All info is helpful @owlyboo

Well I def don't get significant appetite suppression

😂😂😂

Some days I do get some like Sunday day 3 and ate half a roast

Yesterday and and today so 5&6 I've been hungry

I know @FlappingMadly I found it a few weeks ago and said about it on here

Be brave @weaseleyes and go for 7.5

They advise going up 2.5

No way! Even if I were doing regular doses, I should stay on 5 mg for 4-5 weeks. When I tried going up from 2.5 to 4.3 it nearly finished me off 😀It's been a relief in recent weeks not feeling so weak and tired, I don't feel up to risking it yet. I am clearly a very delicate weasel (in spite of rather sturdy appearances)

owlyboo · 08/01/2025 19:46

@Blondeshavemorefun you'll do it! I'm sure you couldn't imagine losing whatever you've lost so far!

SilverSprings510 · 08/01/2025 20:36

Did my second run today! Had a crap night’s sleep so everything in me was screaming to do it tomorrow instead but I’m trying to be consistent. I am starved now though (haven’t eaten tea yet) so will have something and then get an early night I think

tucks weasel and Nippy up

Hard core here on, ahem, 8.5 😂

Rain has turned into lots of snow. Dog was absolutely bonkers this morning during his walk.

Loving the weather photos but hope that everyone posting them is ok.

In London, it was freezing yesterday but doesn't appear to have been a frost overnight.

Went from feeling very hungry to not for the last couple of days. Jabbing today.

Still need to move more - did my first early morning walk of the year yesterday. Felt so much better for it.

@weaseleyes just think how much money we save being the ultimate lightweights 😂

@Blondeshavemorefun @Motnight @FlappingMadly

NippyCrab · 09/01/2025 08:04

@FlappingMadly it's so funny watching them go crazy in snow 😂😂 xx

owlyboo · 09/01/2025 08:06

Well done on your second run @SilverSprings510

Another AWFUL nights sleep here. I think it's because I've been out of routine going to bed (drinking wine!) over the Christmas holidays and my body just can't get back to normal! I just literally can't fall asleep! I'm sure it'll get back on track soon!

Hope everyone with snow manages okay (I'm jealous im like your dog @FlappingMadly bloody love the snow!!)

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2025 08:16

I'm just jealous at the cost that I've spent v you weaklings 😂

@owlyboo twins. Another awful night. Awake lots. Didn't settle till 230/3 ffs

Prob as I slept yesterday daytime

But I will be doing the same today once taken dd to school. I'm yawning my head off and can barely keep eyes open

Can you nap today ?

Agree out of routine

Not working but being paid for it last 10w has knocked my day /night

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2025 08:19

@FlappingMadly bless them. What breed do you have again?

@Motnight so cold here in Kent but wet so sleeted all night but didn't settle unlike 5miles down the road where dad is and lots of snow

I hate the snow.

I'm a creature who loves warmth

Also starving - wondering whether to take a 5 Tom from my carrot /feb 2025

But that would be 15 so don't know if he too much

As only done 1 week in 12.5 but honestly have never felt so hungry this week apart from sun 1/2 a roast day

Or do another week 10 and 2.5 and if the same to up next week

I don't think I've lost anything this week as eaten loads

Will find out Tom on WWJ

@Blondeshavemorefun @Motnight @FlappingMadly

That has made me snort @NippyCrab.

Meanwhile my DH has SIX 5 mg pens prescribed to him by the NHS and currently in our fridge. I have to laugh at some of the posts on other threads saying that MJ should only be available via the NHS as patients will be properly looked after and monitored this way.

owlyboo · 09/01/2025 08:26

@Blondeshavemorefun we really are sleep twins as that the exact time I last looked at the clock before I eventually fell asleep!

I had an hours nap yesterday after my awful nights sleep when I got back from my walk. I'm going to try my best to resist today in the hope it might help tonight! Always hard to know what to do for the best isn't it!!!

I would do at least one more week of 12.5 if it was me as it might be a huge jump for your body if not. Like I say 12.5 has given me quite a bit of nausea/some sickness and I'd hate for you to jump up and suddenly have really bad sickness!
