Crazy we have come this far

Heading to 5mths - that's almost half a year

We have all done so well.

Be proud of ourselves

Yes we have Christmas Day to come but remember that eating a meal and some yummy stuff isn't going to make us all gain the weight back

We have to have some treats or else what is the point in life

Saying we are never going to eat ...... again isn't sustainable

But having one /small portion of something we want is a good thing

We have learnt restraint !!!

@owlyboo sorry you are feeling flat and anxious. Post Christmas flatness after a stressful or busy Christmas? I know it's an obvious thing to say but be kind to yourself and allow yourself to process feelings or distract with a good book, podcast or tv. Sending hugs 🤗

@Blondeshavemorefun thanks for kind words. I was a bit embarrassed but then two people sent nice replies so I am fine now. Still thinking about maintenance but have ordered 12.5 from Pharmacy2U then hopefully on the Maintenance journey.
Clicks question - I have 2 x 10 mg doses left in my second 10 mg pen. Thinking about doing extra clicks to make it 12 5. How many clicks would that be?

I caused a stir because I posted something about Ousch which I apparently got wrong 🙃 so I posted a grovelling apology.

I'm sorry you were told off on that thread by the Oushkers/brand promoters, marketers and ambassadors. One would think your "misinformation" is responsible for someone's death the way they were going on about it. Hope you're okay? They all seem to come out of the woodwork and descend with a pile on whenever Oushk is mentioned less than favourably. No other provider has this "warrior defence team" that the Oushk fans have set up on mumsnet and their fb group and other social media. It's creepy but it's why I'm happy to watch them scuttle about. Hope you're not too shaken up by the experience? Don't be, they're all bark and no bite.

As always, I'll be ignoring the Oushk brand promoters on here once they leap to work to "defend" by personal attacks and hate mails.

If pen is 10 is 60 clicks

2.5 is 1/4 of 10

So 15 clicks to make up to 12.5

So 75 in all or one dose and then 15

Thanks for your kind message and wise words, as you probably know it wasn't on Oushk FB page, it was on the Maintenance page on Mumsnet. Since then other people have been kind and supportive so I am OK now. Who needs aggro ..life's hard enough! I am on FB, Insta and Tik Tok but have always managed to avoid getting embroiled in negativity so far!

I've enquired about maintenance too from one or two @Azuresky68 but I just get the generic replies, not what they would do in response to me and my specific queries. I think I won't get that kind of reply till I'm actually at that point, if you see what I mean. I think they don't want to engage in too many hypotheticals! At the moment I'm just sticking with IQ Doctor as they're reasonably cheap, say they'll do maintenance and always have some kind of discount available.

I'm with others on feeling put off by certain foods, it makes it a bit difficult to meal plan or shop. But I noticed that on day 7 of my last dose i bought crisps in the supermarket and was wandering in the chocolate aisle with an anticipatory glint in my eye. I didn't buy any sweets, gave my self a talking to and went home and did my next jab.

I'm impressed by all those who are starting couch25k, but I'm not even remotely tempted to join in. I have bought a new swimming costume, but haven't yet ventured to the pool. I've just booked a holiday (hopefully warm and sunny) for the end of February so need to tone up before that.

@Azuresky68 I did post this a while ago. Not sure if it's helpful. It's from chemist for you when I asked about maintenance/being a lower bmi

Just to let you know I got a reply from BOLT. As things keep changing with guidelines on maintenance I recommend that people email direct with specific questions according to their needs. I am quite near goal, so I am researching options for the next 6/7 weeks. Once I have received responses, then I can make an informed decision. Needless to say, any provider who doesn't take the time to reply won't be getting my hard earned cash! I will let you know what happens 😀

Thanks for that..yes I saw it before. My main concern about maintenance is if/when I finally come off the jabs, then gain half a stone will they accept me back.

I managed to get to half a stone off the top of my BMI range back in May 2020, then kept gaining and losing another half stone over the next few years..always a massive struggle to lose. Then I gained another half stone THEN finally another half stone by August 2024...by now I was 2 stone over the top of my BMI at 5 foot. I am back to my May 2020 weight now with 6 pounds to go but I am really scared of regaining after all my battles without MJ and now the relief of losing it with jabs. I might have to stay on it for ever or at least take a break and then have the option of going back before I gain too much.

@Azuresky68 yes I get that. If I was really worried (and I know it's wasteful) I would try 2 months off whilst still buying the lowest dose pens. That way you can go back on it if the couple of months seems to hard... but I realise that is wasteful if you don't end up needing to go back on!

It's snowing again here! Been enjoying the excuse not to go out and got very involved on here today. Still not eaten anything at 3 30. Better go and get sorted. Best wishes to all and thanks for all your support x

Afternoon lovelies, it's chanking here and i decided to do a hill walk today without checking the current weather there lol. Snow ❄️ 🏔 I was frozen initially but wow it was beautiful. I've done this walk a few times but never with snow so I'm glad I went today.
@Blondeshavemorefun oh not my perfect girl, she's never naughty! Middle child knob dog however... and the baby puppy is following in his paws 🐾
@owlyboo tight hugs, hopefully as this week goes on the horrible feeling will start to lift. You don't need to answer this, if you are on any meds for anxiety it could be worth getting a small increase over the winter months, my GP suggested it for me last year and it's helped enormously, just a wee thought. What a snake doing that on Christmas day! Wtaf xx

@Azuresky68 I worry about maintenance too, having spent 44 years going up and down in weight and spending huge amounts of time hating myself! I'm titrating my dosage down to try and give myself more time to retrain my brain. Might be kidding myself, but I've got a fair bit of MJ to use up - so I guess I'll find out.

Do you mean @Blondeshavemorefun 3 pints of water should be contained in the park 💧 🤔 🤣 Well done blondes. I use a pint glass ..so far had 2 pints. To help with you hunger could you add lots of veg to your protein meal? I always have frozen broccoli and green beans in my freezer then add plenty to my main meal.
