Just checking in! I've been so manic at work that I haven't had a chance to keep up with the posts!
I'm on W4D7 so due to jab again this evening. My first week of 2.5mg was from a friend who insisted on giving me my first dose to get me started 😂 so I still have another dose in my pen, plus the 'extra dose' if I can extract it.
SW 220.6 lbs
2.5mg Week 1 - 6.2 lbs
2.5mg Week 2 - 2 lbs
2.5mg Week 3 - 1.8 lbs
2.5mg Week 4 - + 0.2lbs
Total in 4 weeks - 9.8 lbs lost
And with my precious weight loss before MJ I'm on 15.4 lbs gone since mid Sep.
Am disappointed to gain this week but not surprised as had a lot on. But for the majority of the week until Thursday I was 100% in a calorie deficit so it's gutting that a few days of extra food can cause me to gain weight.
I had a work do on Thursday - made good food choices, didn't drink, but had a bit of cheese, danced for 3 solid hours!
Then work Xmas lunch yesterday - lots of turkey and veg, one roast potato, had a mince pie for pud.
And then a dinner party at friends last night where I did drink a lot of rose - ate sensibly but had pudding as well.
But the positive thing is that at all of these Xmas events I have made good food choices, eaten lots of protein and veg and drink considerable less than I would have done in the past, and had small amounts of pudding rather than masses. I don't want it to be so strict that I can't live my life and learn moderation along the way. So I need to take the small gains as part of my journey and hopefully it will come off next week.
So I'm taking 2.5mg tonight, then again next Saturday, which will see me through Christmas week and a total 6 weeks on 2.5mg
I have my 5mg pen ready so I could go up a dose but don't want to do that on Xmas week!! Even though I feel it's time.
Instead I plan to go up to 3.75 the next week while off work over new year, to see how side effects are.
The amount of food I ate over the last few days - even being healthy salmon, turkey and ham based, is much more than I could fit in 3 weeks ago so I do feel I need to increase my dose, and will see how it goes.
