Maintenance Policy Email Cloud Pharmacy And Others. (A list of Mounjaro maintenance providers)

Hi, just for anyone who's asking for pharmacies policies on maintenance, I've just received an email from Cloud pharmacy and this is so far the best stance I've seen anywhere. Some other pharmacies offer maintenance but Cloud seem to be the first I've seen to finally outrightly state "for life" rather than 'We'll see how it goes', 'Well have a consultation and discuss your options', 'Let's have a chat', 'You have to pay a small fee to stay on our books while you're on maintenance', 'We're happy to work with you for maintenance and we take it individually', etc. I also know they offer one month on and one month off for maintenance from what some people on reddit are on. I hope more pharmacies get on board this "for life" stance rather than beating about the bush or being limited to a certain bmi cutoff or taper.

Just wanted to post this so others can have an idea and decide for themselves as it's mostly been one or two popular pharmacies that posters constantly advertise all over the MJ forums. I use Cloud and they're excellent so far. They're on the monj.co uk list and others lists too. I'll definitely stay with them for maintenance when the time comes. No referral codes and they give discounts to their customers without you doing anything for it, so I have no skin in the game. I definitely have nothing to gain from posting, just sharing to help others.

Feel free to share other pharmacies maintenance policy on this thread if you have any in writing. It will help us all to know who to go with for support. X

I’m with MedEx but I don’t want to put myself in a corner with their 2 year cut off. I’d like the option of complete flexibility - I just don’t know what will work for me when I hit my goal weight and I’d like the options to try everything.
Whether that’s to continue with a low dose once my goal is achieved or try a month off/on. Or just to come back on to it after 6 months if I need to.

I know that once I change suppliers I may well be stuck with them. Although as you say that will be where the money is made so hopefully they all start offering more flexibility for long term maintenance customers.

RightOnTrack · 10/02/2025 11:10

If they're smart, they would openly offer maintenance because most of us will be sticking with the providers we find offering maintenance unless the general maintenance policy changes again to swapping to anyone you like despite your low bmi as long as you can show confirmation email or box label of previous provider.

Yes and ‘maintenance’ purely being about the highest comfortable prescription of mounjaro!

I just received a response from Curate - it was one line

“Hi,
You would need to be a Curate customer to continue with maintenance.”

That was it. I sent in around 5 questions asking for clarification on points concerning their maintenance policy, based on my switching suppliers. At least Cloud sent a proper written (human) response with a name at the end.

I’ve written back although perhaps it was not my politest email…

I suspect some pharmacies can't be arsed with "pesky" questions from "these pesky non-customers" and their glib response is the equivalent of saying "Read the leaflet!!" or sending you a copy and paste of the manual/leaflet when you ask them specific questions that require specific answers. It's quite rude and dismissive. I'd much rather get no response than something like this if they're tired of/can't be bothered with the questions or have no actual answer.

Yes what they kept describing as "maintenance" or "maintenance dose" was about something else, I kept thinking there was a paragraph I'd missed and went back a few times to re-read. But nope, they don't know what maintenance is or they have their own definition which isn’t what we're looking for.

I wrote to Pharmulous this morning to ask if they could put up their maintenance stance on their website so it will be easy to link to. I'm still waiting to hear from them. Being Sunday, I'm not expecting a reply today. I only emailed them because I thought it would be good to have their policy linked here seeing as they're part of the first 3 pharmacies (that we know) to support maintenance. I wouldn't want to omit them from the linked posts because of their oversight.

I also went ahead and messaged the same to Medicine Marketplace (another provider I read about today on Reddit that supports maintenance. I figured I may as well). I've just received a reply that it will be passed on to the relevant person and a confirmation that they do support maintenance according to individual needs. So, I'll be adding them to the list once I get a confirmation Once they put up a statement on their website, I'll link to it too.

(Adding photos feature is back I see, so here's the email).

Dont hold your breath with Medicine Marketplace, Im still waiting for a response to my email sent on 23rd Jan, Liz did come back to me to apologise for the delay and said they only have one MJ prescriber and she was very busy but she would try and get an answer to my question. That told me everything I needed to know, 1 prescriber is not enough! My supplier has 13 (was mentioned in a live last week).

RightOnTrack · 10/02/2025 13:13

@squidgymum I agree, 1 prescriber isn't enough. Perhaps because they've just started prescribing MJ (Have they? It's just that they've appeared on the monj website recently but I'm not sure when they actually started prescribing MJ), they've only allocated one prescriber. By the time they're inundated with orders, they may think twice. If they've been prescribing it for a while, then it's an interesting choice - could cause quite some delays in their orders. I won't get my hopes up though, thanks for letting me know.

I have been using yourmedicals for maintenance and I think they’re great. I don’t have to pay extra for advice, I just pop them an email and they’ll reply back to me with side effects and any advice so I’m happy

Howinthehelldidthishappen · 15/02/2025 12:10

Just pla marking, as i look set to reach my goal far quicker than I expected and am starting to think long term maintenance already.
@RightOnTrack those list are amazing. Exactly what I was looking for.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 07/03/2025 05:02

@sumbum no but there’s someone in the Reddit subs promoting them quite heavily! 😂

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 07/03/2025 05:06

I have seen very good things on Reddit about Medicine Market Place regarding maintenance and their prices are certainly very appealing! Can’t see anything currently on their site though.

I have just bought from them for the first time (and am currently with Oushk for maintenance). Paid £145 inc delivery for 12.5mg. My BMI is 25.5 though so I don’t know what their policy is for maintenance at lower BMIs - I have asked and will report back.

Looked at Medic Spot - all well and good but way too expensive.

Megarea · 07/04/2025 06:12

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I've also just ordered from Medicine Marketplace, I'd been with MedExpress the whole time so it's the first time I've changed purely for cost as they are about £60 cheaper for 10mg. I ordered late on Friday and sent them the selfie video, video of scales, ID photo and photo of previous prescription they wanted. They said 2 days to approve which I assumed meant working days but they've approved this morning and said it's being shipped.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/08/2025 20:24

Med express def don’t do maintenance and won’t prescribe if bmi is 23 or below

tech I only need to gain 12lbs and I’m back to over weight bmi so it is a fine line

what annoyed me was that I filled in my weight and height. Did many forms. Added the pics of me and proving weight and old prescription. For them to say no they won’t take me back (was with them at beginning ) as I’m healthy now

why not say that after weight and height filled in - why make me do all the other stuff

@Blondeshavemorefun when did you receive the MedExpress email? I’m sure I received a very vague response not so long ago saying that it was possible. Although they was very careful not to be definitive in any way. I’ll try and find it.

Took a few days as I emailed and said why they couldn’t find me a treatment as started with them so a returning customer

Ahh, ok. I got this around 3 weeks ago, I was asking a different question and then thought I’d also ask if their long term maintenance policy had changed. I know that several months ago they said 2 years and then you’re out. So many other pharmacies are allowing long term use I hoped ME would change their policy. More because I’m worried about changing suppliers now I’m at basically at my goal weight.

The response doesn’t mention the 2 year cut off and it is quite wishy washy. He does seem to imply that there flexibility though. Obviously the response you receive shows otherwise! I’ve been fudging my order weight so they will have me down as technically still losing. I might have to bite the bullet and try somewhere else soon.
