@lookathatbookcase I'm jealous you can stick to 2.5 and it works.. think how much cheaper it is for you. I'm on 7.5 and will hopefully stay for at least 3 pens, but for the price difference think how lucky you are..

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 20:26

@NippyCrab @lookathatbookcase it's definitely important to keep in mind how far we have all came. Something to celebrate! Sticking to a diet for 4 months isn't easy! It's boring 😂 but it all works out in the end!

I equally agree we should all 'enjoy' Christmas obviously that doesn't mean going crazy but more booze and a few treats won't suddenly undo 4 months of hard work. Enjoy this week then back on it for 2025! 💪

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 20:44

@AdeloreSmore what a dab message to get before Xmas

@Mum0ntherun quite understandable you gained after losing your precious boy

A lb will soon come off next weigh in

And yes we all need get rid of the yummy food. It's tempting

@Princessandthepie yah for getting your 3s

@NippyCrab my perverted mind read that as all done in due to dh being at home and shagging all night

Obv that's wrong and due to me 💐💐💐💐

Cake looks fab

@owlyboo you are so right. We have done amazingly over the past almost 5mths

Be proud one and all

@lookathatbookcase sorry been struggling ans it's good you tried a lower dose and know need to go higher

But wow can do it on 2.5

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 20:54

NSV

I've been out with people who haven't seen me for maybe 3/4mths and in my Xmas jumper

I had some lovely comments about how good I looked and how much I had lost and how - calorie counting and smaller portions 😂

Which is tech true

Lots had Xmas jumpers on and it was this time last year I wore the below jumper

As I said last time I posted this I looked a right fat fuck 🙀🙀🥲🥲

But I rem going out and thought I looked ok

Obv I didn't as look fucking huge and here I am super obese - I agree for once with that statement

Fuffedoff · 23/12/2024 21:13

Evening!

I'm still here plodding along. Weight loss has still stalled. I'm only 1.2kg down this month in total.

I know it's better then nothing but it's a bit frustrating when it's not like I've have been overeating or bingeing continuously.

I think I'm ready to just write this month off, especially with it being Christmas/NY.

It doesn't mean I'm going to undo all my hard work but I just don't want my focus to be on weight loss. I want to enjoy myself within moderation.

I've actually took my last dose of MJ today, with the view of TTC over the next few months.

I think I've sort of stayed in the routine of 16:8 intermittent fasting during my MJ journey and that's what I'd like to focus on moving forward.

I'll still keep in touch!

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 18:43

Well done on all the losses and sorry for the gain!

Just finished cleaning the house top to bottom ready for the big man.

I had some time alone today whilst I got a few bits from town (kids didn't want to join me 😂) and the walk down and having time to think I thought of us all and how we should be so proud of ourselves for taking the leap and doing something to change our lives for the better and head into 2025 in the best way possible! Proud of us all!

What a lovely post, @owlyboo. Sums up how kind and supportive these threads are 💕

morbidcuriosity · 23/12/2024 21:19

looking good @Blondeshavemorefun. dam it pressed post too soon..

glad you can finally see the difference that we all saw!!! .

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 21:22

You look fab @Blondeshavemorefun 😍 are you feeling okay about Christmas I know it's your first year as a single mum and felt a little wobble at the start of the month. Hope you're okay. Second year for me and feel completely different to last year. Much stronger and think it just takes time.

@Fuffedoff to have lost in December is more than the vast majority of people will have done! Can't wait for here about your ttc journey! Good luck!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 21:30

@Fuffedoff it's still a loss

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 21:33

Honestly @owlyboo I've had wobbles

Even now I think wtf and things are different and I'm sad my marriage is over 🥲🥲🥲

But I have dd. My world. I did it for her 😍

Edited

Thank you

I am noticing it more now

It shameful in some ways that takes a good 3s to lose for people to see the diff

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 21:37

@Blondeshavemorefun I woke up on Christmas last year in tears, pulled myself together and got it done and ended it in the tears.

Me and my exh weren't right for each other and it's the best thing for us not to be together but it doesn't stop you mourning what you 'should' have. A 'perfect' family with the 'perfect' man (obviously all things that don't actually exist!)

Probably didn't help my exh split with me on Christmas Day evening the year before.. charming

Put on those (much littler) girl pants and enjoy the day the best you can with your gorgeous daughter FlowersFlowers

morbidcuriosity · 23/12/2024 21:39

I know what you mean , it took 3.5 stone for 1st person to notice, now a few more pounds and more people are, but weirdly i don't like the comments.. apparently according to my friend who is on this too and sharing my journey with me , its finally showing in my face! ha, must of had a right chubby face before..

troppibambini6 · 23/12/2024 21:40

Hi everyone. Blondes you look fab and well done to all the losers.

I still plodding along my starting weight was 14.4 and I'm now 11.9. I can really start to see the difference now and I'm a pound into a healthy BMI.

I've pretty much knocked drinking on the head and I actually don't want to eat and drink all the Xmas food and booze so I'm not going to!

I've had a couple of have you lost weight? comments and dh is joining me in MJ in the new year. Weirdly my mum hasn't even mentioned any weight loss which stings a bit as I would say it's quite obvious now. I've gone from a big 16 to a size 12.

Still need to find a knockout red dress for the party in feb. Will have a look in the sales maybe.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 21:45

It's weird isn't it @morbidcuriosity That we need to lose so much for people to notice

@troppibambini6 amazing you are in healthy weight

I've got 2st+ to get into that

Seems impossible but come this far

Great dh is joining you. How much does he need to lose

And if he doing it as seen the diff on you ?

Sure you will find a dress !!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 21:47

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 21:48

If I'm honest @Blondeshavemorefun what I would have done differently is I would have ended it years before he eventually did.

I'm naturally quite an upbeat/positive person and he is... very much the opposite (miserable b#stard 😂) I put up with it for so long as we had been together for years (since I was very young so spent all our late teens/twenties and start of thirties together) so I suppose fear of the unknown etc.

However he finally called it a day and then was miraculously (secretly for ages but I found out through mutual friends) with another woman very quickly ... (obvs having at least an emotional affair before the end but I imagine more than that.)

Anyway all of that aside we maintain a healthy co parenting relationship as shit happens!

How about you?

Lorowen · 23/12/2024 21:57

Once you reached your target weight how do you stop the injections? I’m scared of putting it all back on again

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 21:58

@Lorowen you can go back down the doses and stick at one that suits to maintain and stay on it. Or you can come off and hope you can maintain it's up to the individual.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2024 22:00

Yes we try and co parent well. We both love dd. She loves us both so it's important she is no 1

So many of her friends parents don't get on /bitch about them in their company

I may moan about dh but not in ears of dd 😂 - just to friends

I'm sad we've ended but for the best and as long as she is ok and she's happier now so it's worth it iyswim

lookathatbookcase · 23/12/2024 22:01

On people noticing weight loss - I read on one of the threads (can't remember which) that when we lose weight, we lose both visceral and subcutaneous fat. The visceral stuff is the belly fat deep in the abdominal cavity, and around our hearts - it's not so easily 'seen' as subcutaneous fat, which is just below our skin. So - we might be losing lots of visceral fat, and thus weight, but no-one can really see it until you've lost a lot of both types of fat. Sorry if I've mangled that explanation!

Lorowen · 23/12/2024 21:57

As @owlyboo said you lower ideally then stay off or low dose maintenance

What dose are you on ?

owlyboo · 23/12/2024 22:02

Yes @Blondeshavemorefun I won't and have never said a bad word about exH to kids and to be honest don't say much to others as it's not really worth it. (Don't get me wrong I've had the odd bitch!!)

Have the best Christmas. @Blondeshavemorefun 🎄
