Morning, ah sorry @Blondeshavemorefun i would have deleted mine, went to bed early 😅

I've decided I hate the suppression because I can't focus on planning good meals, it's like forcing food in because you know you need to eat. I won't go above 4mg for a while 😆

My shopping list is eggs, fruit as I'm okay with enjoying that and i will get some ready made chicken and some broccoli, maybe a wee baked potato.

This post was all typed and I didn't click post for flips sake man!!

Cold day in the shire my toes were frozen on our walk, went to Sainsbury's and jeez oh isn't shopping expensive! And i didn't even venture to the home department or clothes 😐 😂 I only bought a notebook and some pencils.

Trundled out of the supermarket and noticed little brat of the chocolate spotted variety was sitting in the drivers seat! Licking something, yep she had vomited on my seat the wee trumpet! Luverly. She got relegated to the crate with the boy brats and I braved the cleaning of the vomit. Urhh!

I should be doing things but I'm so cold, the heating is on and I have a throw. Are we now feeling the cold with less insulation 🥶

@Motnight I know - thank goodness for this thread, eh, and us all learning together?

lookathatbookcase · 28/11/2024 15:59

@Motnight @Mum0ntherun Seriously! Even through the tough patches, I feel I'm doing really well on MJ and that's definitely down to having this bunch here to chat nonsense (and clear whey) with. Can't imagine doing it alone.

lookathatbookcase · 28/11/2024 16:00

@NippyCrab For the cold - do you have a heated throw? Best invention since hair straighteners IMO.

Changinghabits1973 · 28/11/2024 16:17

There you all are....!! Have found you..... i thought i had been renegated ! I lost you and came over all panick stricken and anxious lol!!

Anyway, happy Thursday ! Its been a busy day today with meetings all day and tomorrow the same too but wishing everyone luck for their weigh in days tomorrow etc and sending lots of positivity... xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 17:48

@Motnight that's terrible he hasn't been given any info 🙀

@owlyboo sorry you still feel poorly

@1clavdivs sorry for sts. I had 3w plateau. It was awful. Hopefully a whoosh will come

@NippyCrab no worries. Tech you posted a second or so before me as def wasn't there

I hadn't forgotten. Was just sorting dd out but not a problem you started 9

I will do 10 when this is full - question is will it be before or after Xmas 😂

How chatty will we be

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 17:51

Thankfully as I said I feel much better and managed fk eat. Had some lovely Porridge and then went shopping and Bought the Aldi chicken someone said about - possibly @Changinghabits1973

It's huge !!!

Have to cook it all and only me go eat it so hope I don't Chuck it - after my dodgy tummy I'm reluctant to eat chicken even cooked if been 3/4 days since cooked iyswim

Obv as frozen I can't freeze it after being cooked

Will let you know what I think later tonight

poppym12 · 28/11/2024 18:11

I lost 600g then gained 900 in the space of a week @Blondeshavemorefun. I'm not sure I can be bothered with it any more.

I'm still not able to exercise apart from slow walks due to the torn meniscus - not that I've ever got the energy to exercise anyway.

Motnight · 28/11/2024 18:16

@poppym12 that sounds really hard 😔

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 18:17

So you list a lb then gained it back a week later and extra @poppym12

Does seem weird

What have you eaten ?

I do track and since cal counting I think I am losing weight better so maybe I wasn't always correct in what i guessed /estimated

Where now I weigh stuff
And tho I was mainly correct in my guessing - I think I'm losing better now or maybe it's the 10

Will be interesting if I have lost anything Tom as Barney eaten the last few days and what I did eat came out

🤮💩

But will my body think it's been starved and hold onto my fat cells so won't lose anything

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 18:18

Why didn't my pic show

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 18:18

Why didn't my pic show

That's the one !!
Gosh.. you said you can't freeze again once it's cooked.. I totally ignored that and froze all mine to eat over the next few weeks and I've been doing this since August each month I've bought it! I've been fine, my bestie also does that and she us too but please.. only do what you think!! I don't want any blame 😂

poppym12 · 28/11/2024 18:36

I weigh and track everything @Blondeshavemorefun, even cups of coffee.

I rarely go over 1200 calories and usually only around 1000 in the 2 or 3 days post injection.

I'm trying to eat as much protein as possible (vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs or drink milk), with a collagen coffee every morning.

I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

poppym12 · 28/11/2024 18:39

It's pretty frustrating @Motnight. I'm feeling extra miserable at the moment as we usually go away in search of sunshine for New Year which helps make the whole season more bearable (my mum died on New year's day a couple of years ago). With moving house this year and the cost of mounjaro, looks like I'll be stuck here for the foreseeable.

Sorry, just got the miseries.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 19:59

Awww @poppym12 💐💐💐

It is hard when we don't lose

What do you weight /height

Could you need less than 1200 Cals

Have you done your tdee recently

coach.org.uk/tdee-calculator

@Changinghabits1973 after how sick I was I wouidnt freeze something that was frozen so guess will leave in fridge once cooked

Almost cooked now

Changinghabits1973 · 28/11/2024 20:05

@Blondeshavemorefun I agree.. I might have to rethink now next month! I do hope you enjoy it though.. bet it smells delicious..

owlyboo · 28/11/2024 20:10

Finally managed to eat my dinner tonight. 2 sausages, a bit of mash and a few roasties. Feel much better for it. Finally feel like I have some energy.

@poppym12 sorry for your loss. It must make the whole Christmas/new year period a hard time. Staying the same must be very frustrating. I know I would find it super demoralising it went on for a few weeks. I hope you get a loss soon!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 20:14

Changinghabits1973 · 28/11/2024 20:05

@Blondeshavemorefun I agree.. I might have to rethink now next month! I do hope you enjoy it though.. bet it smells delicious..

Erm. Won't be a problem to keep it in fridge

It's been binned

Was horrible. Too hot for me

I think my taste buds have changed 🙀🙀🥲🥲

I used to love donor and chicken kebab. Always had a slight kick to it

But I didn't like this at all

So now don't know what to eat as was rank

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 20:15

Glad managed to eat something @owlyboo

Changinghabits1973 · 28/11/2024 20:30

Oh gosh.. am sorry you had to bin it but agree how taste buds change.. the worrying bit is now what you're going to have? Hope you've got something else in to be able to have .. and what you fancy..

Motnight · 28/11/2024 20:42

@poppym12 💐

poppym12 · 28/11/2024 20:49

Thank you for the link @Blondeshavemorefun. I've just redone my tdee after losing 15kg to date. I presume that for weight loss I need to subtract 500?

I'm worse than sedentary, I move less than a sloth.

Mounjaro August starters thread 9 (OMG)
weaseleyes · 28/11/2024 20:50

That sounds maddening @poppym12. How many weeks have you been consistently stuck for? TDEEs are based on generic height/weight measurements and may not always reflect individual health profiles. Apps I use say I should be able to maintain on 1770 and recommend 1219 for weight loss, but this is not realistic for me. 1200 is my maintenance level and I need to stick to 800-900 to lose. I've learnt from painful experience that nothing else works. It's bad enough that I'm short, but the fact I've been on so many diets and had so many weight fluctuations means that standard measurements sadly don't function for me. I don't know about you, but it may be something similar for you. Maybe try 1150 a day for a week or two, then 1100 if that doesn't work?

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 20:57

It's a rough guide so yes maybe drop to 1100 so losing 700 over the week and see what happens

@Changinghabits1973 it's so weird. Last week I had to bin my chilli chicken pizza which I loved before mj. Certainly wasn't hot but it was too spicy for me on mj

I don't know what to eat. I'm def Hungary so May just have toast as quick and want to watch celeb

I have lasgane in fridge but one look at it and it's a no

Weird. Can I be hungry and have suppression ?

Changinghabits1973 · 28/11/2024 21:01

That is weird.. that's why I'm nervous going up to 10! I fear having huge suppression and also not fancying anything..Just have some toast and good luck for weigh in..
