Hope you are all well.
I'm back in work today after some annual leave. I don't feel quite ready 🤣.
It's weird because in my previous job, I only worked two days a week (16hrs), but now I work four days (30hours).
I've not noticed too much difference in energy levels so far but I think it's realising I've not got as many days to socialise/see people as before, which still feels weird. I'm having to stagnate everyone 🤣.
Anyhow, I went to the gym last night and did 10 lengths.. that's my limit for now 😆.
I wanted to go in the jacuzzi/steam room/sauna but there were loads of people in there and I'm still convinced they are all swingers. My OH despairs at my thoughts.
I think more so, that it seems they all chat to each other and I don't like that. I just want peace and quiet for a few moments. So I think I'm going to test going at different times.
I went for a meal with my friend yesterday and it was lovely to catch up. Usually the food at this place is lovely but must have got it on a bad day. They used to use fresh chips but now seemed to have swapped to oven which I don't really like, and then the meat on the hot beef barm cake I ordered was rather tough. I left quite a bit. Then we had some chicken for tea.
I'm logging down the calories as best as I can just to give me a rough idea of intake and giving myself enough leeway for all those sneaky extras.
