@NewoIkkin I'll join you in the 5st loss club today!
Last weigh in before Christmas 🎄for me. 4lb loss this week, which was only slightly surprising as suppression was much higher than I like and lasted the whole week.
Dose was the same, the only change was last week I injected a day late on Sunday instead of Saturday as I was out all day Saturday (nice 3 course meal), got home late on Saturday so left injecting to Sunday morning.
End of week - 26 (5 x 2.5mg, 21 x 3.75mg)
SW - 21st 5lbs BMI 44.8
CW - 16st 5lbs BMI 34.9
Losses (2024) - 10,2,2,4,1,3,3,3,1,3,2,2,3,3,2,3,3,2,1,4,0,2,3,3,1,4
Total loss - 5st 0lbs (70lbs), 23.4%
Next Target - Will decide after Christmas/New Year
It seems like only yesterday I started Mounjaro but it is 6 months today so having a little bit of reflection.......I was terrified to start MJ for all the usual reasons, and never thought I would be reaching 5st/70lbs/30kg loss in 6 months😁. Removing my initial huge loss (thanks to covid the same week) my losses average 2.4lb a week which I think isn't too high considering the high starting weight, but would like to see that closer to 1.5-2lbs/week next year to keep healthy. I now weigh 2lb less than my previous most successful weight loss attempt which I logged in MFP in 2019 and the lowest weight I've been in probably over 15 years and I am nowhere near ready to stop this amazing journey. It has been the best £££s I have ever spent.
I don't want that same very high suppression I had last week during Christmas week, and not be able to eat some of my £70 sirloin roast! So I am still considering what to do today as I am returning to my usual Saturday injection and it is only 6 days since my last one, therefore concentration still in body will be slightly higher today than normal. I was thinking maybe dropping to 3mg....🤔
@Darlinghag hope you are on the mend and recovered in time for Christmas x
Well done to all on who are on track for their Christmas/end of year targets and kudos to those who who are moving at a steadier pace but still here - staying motivated during times of slower progress takes incredible determination. Keep going - you are doing amazing! 💗
