@Orangesandlemons77 yes it is!! Maybe you have seen who I am referring to looool!

@RobinEllacotStrike amazing!! Do you think I could try Yoga at home btw? Been considering it but we have no classes locally. I am a complete novice, and unfit aside from dog walking!!

congrats @SilenceInside !!

another little victory for me today, I am have purchased a size 16 jacket! Bought it expecting it to be a bit too small as its not weather appropriate quite yet but it fits!!! I’m still a 20 on bottom, for zero stretch items, 18 if its got some give or a looser style, but on top im now firmly moving into 16-18 ranges, and longer items are trickier because if i want it to fit lower down its too big up top! What a privilege that feels like.

I haven't seen it I just guessed! haha

@MooBaggage I'm a wide size 9!
Did you get lots of chat about how important dainty feet are with a load of Cinderella crap thrown in too 🤣

It's so hard to throw off the mother crap - she hates my appearance so very much & I find her joy when I lose some weight so upsetting I've self sabotaged in the past 🙈

Oh this reminds me of MIL, who has 'tiny' size 3 feet and goes on about them, I always found this bizarre

Afternoon all!

Just a quick question as ive just switched to oushk from medexpress and really disappointed in the packaging! It arrived in a bag rather than box - and the mj box itself is squashed (and the outer packaging was branded - admittedly with an O not Oushk but medexpress is a nice anonymous plain cardboard box).

To top it off it came with one, not frozen, ice pack.

Can any other regular oushk users tell me if that's normal or have I had bad luck on my first order with them?

Makes me a bit worried about continuing with them to be honest as it was barely chilled on a freezing day in January it doesn't bode well for the warmer months! I'd switched as I've read they're good with maintenance (which is way off for me!) but I'm quite meh now.

Timetofindme · 24/01/2025 16:55

@SilenceInside I'd probably stick with 5. 2lbs a week is still a good loss and it means you're forming better habits to support you when (/if) you come off MJ. I think it's natural for losses to slow and it means you're not eating in a huge calorie deficit which is probably better for you long term.

I posted on here not so long ago with a similar debate I was having with myself - its difficult not to chase the losses some are getting but I'm also reading posts where people are barely eating enough to keep a mouse alive!

Darlinghag · 24/01/2025 18:47

Thanks @RobinEllacotStrike i’m going to properly look through this weekend. No expectation on turning into a gymnast, just want to have a bit more flexibility.

also looking up some at home kettlebell workouts as i want to improve muscles. Conscious i already have a crap arse but ive never done anything to change it so want to start before the fat around it slips away and becomes more obvious lol!! I think looking at skin now, where I will be loosest is thighs, my tummy is doing so well comparatively but really hate my inner thighs.

Box is excess packaging/waste so I am happy not having a box that goes straight to recycling, a squished pen box is fine as doesn't impact the pen. I've never noticed an O before, it usually just gets opened and put in fridge.

I am in Scotland so transit is a bit further and ice block can be defrosted sometimes, but if I put a hand inside the wool insulation as soon as I open it has always been still well chilled. I had the same defrosted blocks with ZAVA too, but inside the wool insulation was not as chilled.

Mine was due today but delayed by DPD (understandable with red weather warning up here) so will be interesting if it arrives tomorrow, a day late, and if it is still chilled.

alwaysscared · 24/01/2025 20:59

Sorry to be posting again, but I need some advice. I did my second stomach jab last Friday, and have had diarrhoea since Monday, still going on today. I have no idea if this is because of the shot or if I've picked up a bug. I've been on laxative drinks since starting MJ because I was so backed up, so this is new territory for me.
I don't do well with diarrhoea as it sets off my OCD, thinking I'm ill, and that I'll pass that illness onto my son.
I changed to stomach because my suppression wasn't great in my thigh anymore. The suppression in my stomach has been a lot better, but I've had this awful diarrhoea.
I've done my next jab, back in my thigh, but I can already tell it isn't working. I'm so hungry. I am sitting here crying because I know what the next week will be like, so hungry and just using willpower, but I can't risk the stomach again.
Should I try my arm? Does anyone do the arm? Does it make a difference to suppression?

QueenOfHiraeth · 24/01/2025 21:01

@Timetofindme I can't answer your question as I have never used Oushk but my friend has used them since last Summer and has never had any complaint.

I started with one of the subscription companies and their delivery was always in a plastic outer bag that said Puffin Pack on it. I now get mine from Ashcroft and that comes in a plain white box. Both have a wool pack inside and one or two ice packs (can't remember if that is weather related or something to do with the pack as most recent one was blue and larger than the previous white ones)
I have had one or two boxes that were a bit squished in the plastic bag deliveries but only slightly and the pens were fine

Timetofindme · 24/01/2025 21:05

Thanks @QueenOfHiraeth. I like the anonymity of the box, or even plain bag packaging rather than branded. I have a lovely postie and I'd rather he doesn't figure out what I'm ordering when only one person in real life knows. Medexpress has always had 2 icepacks that have been properly cold so just a bit surprised at one defrosted pack. I might contact them and see if that's normal or if there's been an issue.

Timetofindme · 24/01/2025 21:07

Thanks @WeAllHaveWings. I understand that you'd rather not have the box but I'm not keen on branded packaging it feels like I'm announcing it to the world (well at least my lovely postie). Mine was at 15 degrees when it was delivered so definitely not properly chilled hence my query really

QueenOfHiraeth · 24/01/2025 21:10

@Timetofindme I wonder if the influx of new customers is hitting them hard? I have heard of so many people using it now I'm quite shocked as I've been very below the radar with mine

Orangesandlemons77 · 24/01/2025 21:17

I've always had two ice packs, had a bag with Simple online pharmacy and box from Voy and Med Express. The pen and box is packed between the ice packs.

Orangesandlemons77 · 24/01/2025 21:18

I've not ordered from Oushk though sorry.

SilenceInside · 24/01/2025 21:57

@alwaysscared I've never injected anywhere other than stomach so I can't really comment on whether it makes a difference to suppression or to side effects. I have had diarrhoea once when on 5mg, which did sort itself out. I think it was related to something that I ate that upset my stomach a bit and then it was amplified by the effects of Mounjaro. I didn't eat for about 24 hrs and then stuck to the BRAT foods for a while.

Arglefraster · 24/01/2025 23:44

Top tip @VelociraptorsVelociRapping thank you

Wary of admitting to being one of the odd people that orders from oushk @Orangesandlemons77 😉 but I can also confirm for @Timetofindme that the packaging you describe is the same as I've received. I really like the wool pack & don't think the packaging is revealing- at least my husband who I told I was starting MJ saw 3 of the parcels all without ever realising I was taking MJ 🙄🤣 (excellent illustration of his listening skills!), all my pens have arrived cold with liquid pack (it's gel so as far as I understand shouldn't ever be solid).

WeAllHaveWings · 24/01/2025 23:58

Timetofindme · 24/01/2025 21:07

I don't think you can accurately measure/estimate the temperature of the liquid in the pen, it worried me a little so I tried similar. I also tried to measure the outside of a pot of yoghurt and a carton of milk straight from the fridge using my surface thermometer and meat thermometer as a comparison and they measured around the same as the exterior of the Mounjaro pen when it arrived, up around 12-15 degrees.

I am satisfied, from whatever provider, if it feels cool within the wool package as soon as it is opened that is ok.

alltablenochairs · 25/01/2025 00:05

This is what a parcel from Simple Online Pharmacy looks like. It was delivered by DPD in my area and arrived with the ice packs frozen solid. It didn't make any reference at all to coming from a pharmacy and thanks to the wool wrapping you couldn't tell what the contents were either.

Darlinghag · 25/01/2025 12:06

Happy Saturday folks! Weekly weigh in for me - this week I have lost 2.1lbs! I now weigh 15st 9.4!

Victories this week include:

  • a new size 16 jacket!
  • getting under 100kg
  • realising my bones between my knees touch and hurt when i sleep on my side!
  • finally realising my old size 26 pjs WILL fall down when i walk and its time for them to go!
  • sitting a tiny theatre seat and fitting in it comfortably (and there is not enough fat on my arse to make it comfy!!)
  • I am just about 3st loss in MJ - 5st 4.6 loss in total. Its about the halfway point. I think ideally I would like to be firmly in the normal BMI range which is under 10st, but that is a long way off and I also would like to see how I look and feel first, the scale will be unimportant relatively at that point.
  • Feeling much happier with suppression, food noise and the whole shebang this week. I took 8mg and will stick to that again this week. I had fairly strong suppression days 1-2, milder but enough 3-5 and today seems like I might be hungrier before jab day tomorrow, which works well for me!

I had been aiming to get down to 15st 7 by 31st Jan, but I think I might be a little off, which is fine, it will be very close!!

I have an event in mid March, and I want to be out of the 15s and into 14s if I can!

I hope folks are having a good week!!

Just seen the new Oushk branded packaging (I haven't received an order in it before). Not keen it either and their Facebook page has many complaining too this morning, along with the usual Oushk can do no wrong fan club.

Hopefully it gets pulled as I prefer Oushk for delivery options as it makes my life easier, but they've made a mistake with this one.

Arglefraster · 25/01/2025 14:54

Oh no I like the delivery with oushk too but will definitely swap to somewhere else if there isn't an option to stick with the non branded packaging- no way I'm getting into a discussion about WLI with teenage daughter!! (she would look it up & their site screams WLI!)

Will be keeping an eye out (don't use Facebook) as I have a whole month before I need to order.

WeAllHaveWings · 25/01/2025 15:14

@Arglefraster this appears to be the new branded external bag, I can see how it might pique the unwanted curiosity of a teenage dd. I can't work out if it is pink or beige from the photo. Way too girly for my liking. I am a bit bemused how, professionally, they can think it is appropriate way to send private medical supplies discretely.

I have a pen, due yesterday, showing as stuck in the depot in Birmingham (understandable due to adverse weather here in Scotland yesterday) and no updates on DPD yet when it will be delivered, which I assume will be the new branding when it arrives, and two future pens on order bought with special offers. The packaging doesn't affect me personally as dh and ds are both aware, I don't fancy it going to a NDN if I am not in, but I can see why it would be an issue for others.

Saturday weigh in with a modest 1lb loss taking me into the 15st bracket 🥳

End of week - 31 (5 x 2.5mg, 26 x 3.75mg)
SW - 21st 5lbs BMI 44.8
CW - 15st 13lbs BMI 33.4
Losses (2024) - 10,2,2,4,1,3,3,3,1,3,2,2,3,3,2,3,3,2,1,4,0,2,3,3,1,4,0
Losses (2025) - 0,3,2,1
Total loss - 5st 6lbs (76lbs), 25.4%
Next Target 🎯- 14st 3lb by end June (BMI < 30, 100lbs lost, Onederland!)

An understandably low loss this week as my niece had a bit of bad news (well 3 unrelated bits of bad news really!) and I was over at hers and out with her a few times comfort eating supporting her, and feeling 🤢 after! Mounjaro magic obviously can't control every emotion for me - at least it wasn't a gain which I semi expected!

New week, next week, and back to basics!

Arglefraster · 25/01/2025 16:07

Thanks for the photo @WeAllHaveWings it's not great is it - I suppose just the "O" all over is ok if it doesn't actually say Oushk although I wouldn't want more than a couple as looking so distinctive will mean they are remembered & therefore questioned. Squishy packages mostly get overlooked as they don't contain books!

Hope you managed to hunker down for the weather, our trampoline has moved a terrifying amount & the chimney is leaking but we seem to have escaped unscathed otherwise- DH was out driving this morning & said the huge shipping containers stacks out by Falkirk Stadium have blown over!

Sorry your niece had had a bad week I think being a supportive aunt was worth a slightly smaller loss this week.💐

Thanks @Arglefraster

Our house seemed to have been fairly sheltered from it so pretty much unscathed other than the garden gate (which really needed replacing years ago!) coming off its top hinge and a few flickering lights. dh and ds(21) were out in it trying to help one of ds's friends and his dad get their car out of a muddy verge (narrow/single lane road and they pulled over too far for an oncoming car), but they had to give up in the end as it was wild and it wasn't budging. ds had to bus it to Tynecastle today to see Killie lose again play as trains were still off this morning.

QueenOfHiraeth · 25/01/2025 19:50

I had just come on to comment that I've just seen an Oushk "unboxing" on TikTok and it seemed to be a normal puffin pack but that packaging is far more striking than what she had!
I'm a little bit sceptical about Oushk, they've offered some great things but I do wonder if the $$$ signs are leading them astray a bit. Money gets the better of many of these companies at points
