Forgot to celebrate your suppression @Blondeshavemorefun yippee finally 🙌
@4pink1blue I've read a few people have had a horrible time on 5mg and were so wary of 7.5mg but were great on it. I'm still a low dosing lightweight so I can't comment. X
@weaseleyes i was starting to do that before I moved up, i took excess Philli off a spoon and spat it out 😆. It's these automatic reactions that could be a downfall for me when I'm maintaining. Your posts are very wise, reading the one for modnight X
@ChunkyMunky I'm delighted for you! It's bloody fantastic and a great feeling. X
@Changinghabits1973 I don't drink alcohol now so any drinks get the special glasses haha. Let's look for Vimto ones haha xx DH is cooking and I'm still in bed jammies back on all cosy.
@PineappleCoconut urgh the sts is the pits! When the woosh happens it's such a relief that it's still working. X
@Makelikeatreeandleaf I'm was fed up during my 4 weeks of sts. I'm getting into a 14 and same as you it's been years since I've been this small and people are noticing too. I've got 2 stone as well to lose although I'm not sure if that will be too much for my frame.
@Motnight it's so hard! Keep going you've already lost an amazing amount! I've lost 2st too and it's taken me ages since the 5th of August. Now that clothes are baggier I'm feeling more positive.
@MabelSpan I'm disappointed I can't get Shotsy on Android. How has your mood been?
@lookathatbookcase hey 👋
@owlyboo amazing loss and I think you should go a nice shopping spree and treat yourself. That's so annoying about leaving your clothes grrrrr. I also left a lot of personal things when I left exh. He's probably set fire to them by now 🤣
@pippapumpkin I hear you in not feeling like an ogre getting dressed. I know that whatever I put on its either baggy or fits nice. Before I was stretching my clothes over the rolls of belly and I was so uncomfortable.

@NippyCrab Keep checking for it, it really is good, they said it will be happening asap. Over the last couple of weeks I have been making a note of my mood and nausea and I am fine on jab day, then my mood starts dipping and mild nausea creeps in on days 2,3 and 4, then by day 5 I am feeling positively Tigger like and the nausea has gone! So it all ties in with how the MJ builds up then declines. Looking at shotsy (sorry) it seems that I feel good when my level is at 4 or lower, hopefully this will increase as the weeks go by. Needless to say, I will be doing another 4.25mg next week!
What dose are you on now?

@Blondeshavemorefun So glad 10 is finally working for you. Its about time the MJ did something other than just cost you a fortune!😊

Azuresky68 · 09/11/2024 18:40

@4pink1blue I only stayed for a month in 5 mg as I felt terrible on it with a lot of nausea and tiredness. 7.5 is great but I am a very slow loser. 1000 cals a day and just over a stone lost in 12 weeks but I only have 13 pounds to get to my goal. Good luck in 7.5. I am moving up to 10 when I have finished 7.5. I have moved up every time to see what happens.

poppym12 · 09/11/2024 19:07

I've had my first greedy day since I began mid August. We went out for brunch, I've eaten some sweets and I've just scoffed 3 slices of pizza.

I think I'd better increase my dose tomorrow. Hopefully this crazy day of eating won't have done too much damage. Bit disappointed with myself.

owlyboo · 09/11/2024 20:05

Thanks @MabelSpan @Blondeshavemorefun @Changinghabits1973

Well done @Makelikeatreeandleaf it's also been life changing for my anxiety as well, do you worry about when you stop? As it does play on my mind as it really has helped me loads!!

Well done @PineappleCoconut

Feel better soon @NippyCrab

@Blondeshavemorefun with my supplier you have to do the photos every time regardless! God knows why! Glad you've found a good dose and finally have suppression!

@ChunkyMunky or should I say slim and trim munky looking fab! Twit twoo! Tum is looking very flat nothing to hide away!

@poppym12 I hope you enjoyed it. I'm sure it won't affect weight loss, it'll all balance out in the end.

Had a lovely day today out shopping with the kids, much skinter now!! Same sand art that was done on the beach today as my pic of the day!

@owlyboo what a beautiful piece of artistry that is.. it's amazing.. thank you for posting it 😊

20bloodypounds · 09/11/2024 21:12

@4pink1blue going from 2.5mg to 5mg you are doubling your dose. When you go up to 7.5mg you are only increasing by 50% of what you were used to on 5mg, so maybe not such a harsh challenge for your body?

I'm still on 3.75mg, I took just 3 last Friday because DH was home for a week and I wanted to be okay. I hated the way I felt, it was horrible, I'm hoping it settles down for you. Xx

NippyCrab · 09/11/2024 21:18

@owlyboo wow this is incredible art. X

I feel better thank you for the well wishes. We have a poorly little poppet dog. She was vomiting during the night twice in succession and wouldn't come in from the garden for DH, bless him he was all stressed, so up Mammy gets and the wee yin comes in. She wouldn't come to her bed but went to a chair and didn't move. She did eat some ham, then a scrambled egg and drunk some water. She's slept all day with me and I just worry so much about this wee toot. No sickness again and no scoot, just tired. I made her chicken and she had a little of it. Will see if a nights sleep helps and if not it's a Sunday vet appointment.

owlyboo · 09/11/2024 21:23

Glad you liked it @NippyCrab and @Changinghabits1973 he does it often. Clever isn't he?

owlyboo · 09/11/2024 21:24

@NippyCrab oh no! Hope the pup gets better soon!

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/11/2024 21:30

@Blondeshavemorefun chemist4u luckily I ordered a three pen bundle on the last one so no photos for a while!!! And I'm 100% sure they do look different

My mum told me to 'be careful I might need to up my calories or I'll keep losing weight' when I told her I had lost 2lbs this week. I had to assure her I still had a stone and half to lose 😂 bless her!

@Blondeshavemorefun 😆😆 aw my little chocolate brat! We cant think what she's eaten or drank from yesterday. The other 2 brats are fine.

@poppym12 i think after your illness you needed some feeding and you need to eat what you want too. We are going on a wee lunch date tomorrow and the menu looks lush 😋

He's very talented @owlyboo x

Good grief this has moved quickly this week - I went to the last thread looking for you all 😁. Well done on the loses and NVS’ everyone💪🏼

I think after two 5mg pens I’m ready to move up. Starting to nibble the kids Celebrations (Bounty’s my fav) so looks like Christmas will be dangerous if I don’t go to 7.5 😳.

Like some of you I’m feeling low about the weight loss. Though I have lost over 2st since the end of Aug and I need to keep that in mind but another 3st to lose seems so far away. Not sure if the lowness is the jab, the season, the perimenopause or the thankless job hunt I’m on (made redundant at the beginning of the year and still looking - it’s soul destroying) or maybe all of it. Normally I’d turn to food for comfort which I’ve not been doing obvs but it’s starting to creep in as I don’t feel like I have a crutch to turn to - even though it made me unhappy too. What weird creatures we are at times.

Just got to try to keep going and be positive but sometimes it seems too hard doesn’t it? Sorry for the wallow. Please keep putting your wins here as it’s something to aim for. 😘

Azuresky68 · 10/11/2024 07:06

@Mum0ntherun sorry to hear you are feeling low. Honestly you are in the right place to share how you feel.. I am sure we have all been there...I certainly have. It's also OK to allow ourselves to have feelings and have the MJ to help ourselves not to use food and drink to suppress them. It's a tricky time of year for lots of reasons but congratulate yourself on your weight loss so far and be kind to yourself. Sending hugs x

Azuresky68 · 10/11/2024 07:11

@Blondeshavemorefun I am so pleased 10 mg is working for you and that you are trying new things like the whey protein and tracking on MFP...so different to being on SW I know. I tried your tip of shaking and leaving WP in the fridge for a while..so much better. Inlike raspberry lemonade flavour but haven't tried any other ones.

ChunkyMunky · 10/11/2024 07:52

@Mum0ntherun job hunting is exhausting isn’t it, and so easy to become demoralised. I hope things turn around for you soon.

Quick weigh in for me this morning, 1.4lbs off this week. That’ll do nicely, bringing total loss to 3st 2.9lbs. Still another 4st 3.8lbs to go.

AdeloreSmore · 10/11/2024 07:53

Well I'm having a day off today - first time I've been out since I started MJ and I intend to relax and enjoy myself. Rugby International with full hospitality involved. Is like an early Christmas 😆

Changinghabits1973 · 10/11/2024 08:34

Morning all - happy Sunday !

That sounds like a great day out @AdeloreSmore - hope you have a truly fabulous day !!!! x
@NippyCrab yes he is truly talented.... how is the pooch this morning?? Bless, hope you don't have to make an urgent appointment at vets; especially on a Sunday; hope as the day goes on things get better... x
@ChunkyMunky well done on the loss x
@Mum0ntherun sorry to hear you are feeling low - i have my days where i do too - i remember the first two weeks on 5mg i was so so emotional and crying so much - for literally no apparent reason - ive shifted 3st plus, but still have ideally another 5st to go; I am halfway through the first month on 7.5mg but i have to keep telling myself it has only been 13 weeks and the progress i have made in that length of time has been worth it on so many levels - I gave myself a year to turn my life around - so am doing my best at trying to keep the incentive and motivation up !!... I totally understand and get where you're coming from... x

WorriedRelative · 10/11/2024 09:18

Good weigh day this morning, slightly disappointed to sts yesterday at 92.1kg. Got on the scales this morning and was 91.4kg, initially saw the .4 and was cross I'd gained then realised!

This means that I am now at bmi 30 point something! Compared to 34.5 when I started!

Not quite 2st off yet but not far off.

Another week and a bit before my holiday so hoping to drop a bit more. My vinted size 16 shorts would be more comfortable if I lost a bit more. Not too much though, don't want my bikini bottoms to fall down!

Yes I bought a bikini!!!!!

Princessandthepie · 10/11/2024 09:21

This thread has been moving at lightening speed, there's no chance of catching up!

I do hope you're all doing OK.

I'm doing well, down another 1lb so I'm 13 stones 2lbs now. So thats 2 stones 6lbs in total now since my first injection on 3rd August, 100 days ago.

100 days!!!

I feel like that's a really good milestone and I'm really pleased with the progress I've made, I feel better about myself, especially when I'm getting dressed, the self loathing has definitely eased up! In fact I could do with a few new bits of clothing as a lot of my stuff is so baggy, tops especially where I used to buy size 18/20 to hide my huge belly!

I think I'm getting close to a 16.

I weighed my DD yesterday as DH had the scales out so she wanted to step on too. She weighs 2 stones 12lbs! I can't believe I used to carry nearly that amount around with me! Crazy!!

Life has definitely settled down, the event I held this week is over, it was a huge success so now I've got a lot of time back to myself, I've been eyeing up the gym membership again. There's a cheaper option for off peak so I'd like to get back to it, to help tone up.

I'd really would like to start walking to school in the morning but my children seem to turn in to utter twats in the mornings that I can't bare all the arguments and just rnd up bundling them in to the car for a slightly easier life.

But I could still drive them and then drive to the local park and do a couple of laps there as it has a 1km path all the way round. Probably easier to do without the kids anyway!

Sorry to hear you are feeling low, job hunting is soul destroying.

Can you find an alternative crutch, something that makes you feel good and lifts your mood that isn't food.

A lovely walk somewhere pretty or painting your nails in sparkly polish or a candle lit bath or upbeat music and a kitchen disco?

It's hard, be kind to yourself
