Welcome all.

Been 3mths now since we started.

@Motnight I am in the same boat, also lost 2 stone since mid Aug, but I have a whopping 6st 7lbs to go! Whist I do feel better with the 2 stone gone, I cant see any difference, its disheartening to see the same huge lump in the window reflection. I have set mini goals to try and break it up and make it seem more doable. The first is to try and lose another 3 stone by the end of March. If I can get to that I will feel so much more confident about the remaining 3 stone and am giving myself till 31st October to reach that final goal. This final goal weight will depend on how my body is looking closer the time. If I am a melting candle I will raise the goal.
I have also struggled with the side effect of MJ flattening my mood which doesnt help when trying to look on the brightside and stay upbeat.
Just know you are not alone. We all have our challenges and struggles and I hope you know you have the whole of the August gang cheering you on!😊

Sorry I havent gone through all the posts. I had a quick skim and saw some great loses, a few struggles and some great NSVs so well done to all the August gang for keeping on keeping on, regardless!😊

Oh and thank you to whoever it was that recommended Shotsy! Its a fab little app for tracking your MJ levels between jabs, weight and more. Only available on iphone currently but I messaged them and they said they are working hard on Android beta right now so hopefully it will be on there soon.

Medexpress price matched for me, but I moved to a different one which was overall cheaper before I had a chance to use it.

I'm not feeling good at all today and my amazing stepson popped in with some biscoff cake for me, love him to bits that boy, i took a wee sniff of it and nope gads I couldn't even eat a corner of it. Wouldn't tell young handsome that obviously, he doesn't know im on a diet.

I'm going to Jab 3.75 just now, and cuddle in with my wee chocolate chip girl as she's off colour too. DH is out with the boys, perfect peace!

Morning all, some amazing losses and great photos, well done!
3 months today for me, 20lb off. I had hoped for 21, but a minor niggle. Obv not nearly as good as some but more than I've lost in years and I feel great. Not bored at all of the MJ as some are saying, I'm actually loving it still, partly because it's been transformative on my stress and anxiety. People have started commenting on my weight loss - I know some hate that but I'm clearly Very Vain and love it - and I'm back in a size 14. Only 30 more pounds to go to the very top of a healthy BMI..!

Sorry feel poorly @NippyCrab It was biscoff which I love which I ate last Sunday and then left over half of it

Made an omelette for lunch (2 eggs ham onion pepper cheese ) and ate about half of it

Some amazing losses and NSVs

I'm still plodding slowly, started late August, just over 14 weeks ago, and finally reached 20lbs gone, with a whoosh after 3 weeks of depressing stalling/period bloating gains. Perimenopause period hell :(

So much more still to go, but atleast I'm losing and it's relatively easy not to overeat. Only side effect on my second 5mg pen is burping and increased night heartburn, but omeprazole is helping.

No one else knows I'm doing this yet, so you are the only people who I can celebrate with

Love that Oushk little case ! I maybe forgot but i didn't realise you were with Oushk - I am as well - just had confirmation that my second pen from them has been approved, so that's good - the process for this pen was so easy, just my current weight and height and if i was experiencing any side effects etc... i nominated my delivery day for this Tuesday... I honestly can't fault them...

And, am SO pleased you are enjoying the Vimto Clear Whey!! That's made me happy !! I am currently drinking it as my lunch as we speak - then cooking a chinese chicken stir fry loads of veg etc for dinner !! x

I feel somewhat less supressed than usual. Last night I was tidying the kitchen before bed and absentmindedly ate a piece of cheese. Now clearly this is a minor offence in the scale of dietary sins, but it was unusual post MJ! I have occasionally eaten something snacky, though I try to avoid it, but it's been a more conscious feeling/decision.

I suspect that I had a smaller dose than I intended this week, due to my malfunctioning pen. When it stuck as I was injecting I estimated that I was 10 clicks short, but I guess it could have been more. I find the strange click spiral on the pen rather hard to interpret. I suppose I'll have to try to tough it out this week and see it as character-forming/building of useful post-MJ habits.

@Blondeshavemorefun I had it as well as yesterday but today just that plus some raspberries... i just have it whenever to be honest more for a protein hit 😋

I have a question about 7.5mg, if I may? I did 2 lots of 5mg pens as when I moved up I had a horrendous time with diarrhea and nausea which only really settled the last couple of weeks of my 2nd pen. I injected my first 7.5 last night expecting a bad time but it's been fine! No side effects at all. I'm confused as to whether something went wrong with the jab or whether this is normal when moving up the doses and my experience on 5mg was the anomaly? How did you all cope with the increased dose?

Ohh I could have just done cartwheels out of the shop. So so excited!!!

Just nipped in to see if I could squeeze into some size 18 jeans yet, as my 20s were looking saggy, but I was half convinced that I’d just stretched them out and wasn’t really ready for the next size down. They didn’t have many 18s, so just for a laugh I took some 16s into the fitting room to see how far off they would be… …and they only fit!!!!

Yes, they are super stretchy jeggings, yes I will wear them with long t-shirts to cover my tum, but I am so so happy. I bought a pair in every colour!

Ah well flipping done !!! Bet you are feeling like you're on cloud nine !!! It certainly gives you a boost doesn't it and feel like you have achieved something even if it is a hard journey for all of us !! HUGE CONGRATS !!!!

I have had 2 jabs of my new 7.5mg dose ...my side effects started on day 3 of the first injection; i was so light headed and dizzy and felt nauseous nearly all week until the next injection - week 2 that has passed but i am now more constipated than i ever have been... !! I was slightly constipated on both 2.5 and 5 but even all my remedies here plus prunes plus green tea haven't worked at all this week... ! But at least the sickness has faded... I hope in some way that helps, but as you know, all of us are different and get different bouts of the side effects affecting each one of us differently... x

Judging by the numbers on Shotsy, it seems that medication levels are highest 2 or 3 days after jab, so not unusual to feel little difference on day 1. Hope it all stays smooth for you though.

Yes !! You're twin here !! Just cooked my stir fry as i always eat dinner around this sort of time; helps me sleep better !
