@Blondeshavemorefun thank you so much. Decided to be brave and put on the whole picture! PS I was blonde when I was about 2 years old then brunette until about 5 years ago...it's true blondes do have more fun 😁 😂

We sure do 😂

I honestly thought plain chicken would be ok but it wasn't 💩💩💩

Hopefully tomorrow will be better

I just don't know what to eat for tonight as I am hungry

@Azuresky68 Ah, well done! And yes, very noticeable loss around the tum and face.

Changinghabits1973 · 27/11/2024 17:23

@Blondeshavemorefun poor you... go to Maccy's and get their new crispy cheese chicken burger, large fries, banana milkshake... you never know, it could do the trick !!! Oh, and get a hot apple pie for afters !! Look forward to seeing you check in tomorrow and let me know if it did work !!!

I have had stir fry chicken with peppers, onions etc.. it was really nice; I am more batch cooking at the minute because that way i don't have to think too hard every day about what i am going to do for dinner so just take the portion out of the freezer - i think it would be worse for me if i didn't because i could just get in my car and go to get something i shouldn't !

Its weird you mention chicken because i can't stomach that at the minute either and i lived on plain cooked chicken with either salad or omelettes; now the thought of it makes me gag... still love chicken but it has to be either in a sauce or i get the kilo Chicken Kebab from Lidl, buttermilk, cook it and portion it out to do 10 meals and that's lovely !

Afternoon all ! OK, so i think i have finally caught up... just can't go back and name check every person but i am hugely congratulating everyone on here for their losses; and the photos of the difference in people are truly amazing ! We all need to be so proud.. and especially for posting them.. you all look fantastic..

I have gone through my wardrobe again this afternoon trying on different jeans, cargo's etc... am very surprised that i managed to get into my size 16 ripped jeans, so will be wearing them tomorrow !! Also have sorted out two massive bags full of different types of clothing and trainers and i am going to donate these to a Women's Refuge whilst i am in their area tomorrow at my other meetings; the women have been through so much and have decided that if i am able to give them something warm, cosy and snuggly at this time of year then thats what i will do...

@NippyCrab missing you twinny !! Hope everything is ok with you and the pic of the pooches literally melted my heart... they are absolutely stunning and am SO SO pleased that she is doing a bit better now... onwards and upwards fingers crossed and she will now enjoy the festive season !! xx

@Blondeshavemorefun am SO sorry that you are still feeling unwell. sounds awful what you are experiencing, fancying something to eat and then afterwards doesn't agree with you; i feel for you, at least mine only lasted a couple of days and am back to eating normally now but i really hope you feel and get better soon xx

I had an interesting telephone call with my provider this afternoon after i reached out to ask for some support with what pen i should re-order next week; i have had 2 x 7.5 pens and i know that the food noise is back to the point of seeing a Maccy's ad last night on TV and i literally could have gone out and bought the whole menu ! I didn't but at the minute i don't think i can do this 7 days a week on willpower alone.. Im ok with half of the week but not 7.. I have too much more to lose... They have advised me that i should go up to 10mg so i am going to take their advice and see how i get on with it.. I'm nervous !!!

Anyway love to all of you, have a nice evening xx

I wish I'd thought to speak to MedExpress - I've only ever talked to you guys on here, not any 'professional' (though I think we know WAY more than the GPs)🙄

I have done two months at 5mg (lost 15lbs in that time and 36lbs in total since the end of Aug - which I know is great), and it's been okay and steady with manageable side effects. However, I was due for my next pen, and I've ordered 5mg again. I wish I'd gone up to 7.5, as the food-noise is so much more noticeable. I get my OH's argument that I need to have some noise so that I can learn to manage it, but I think the run-up to Christmas is not the time to have that to contend with and I know I'm being impatient as I want to see the big losses or have a whoosh (being bratty 😂)!! Sigh - I should've gone with my original plan 😞

troppibambini6 · 27/11/2024 18:07

@Blondeshavemorefun yes I've been fortunate to have suppression all the way through really. Although I do notice it getting weaker as the month goes on.

Changinghabits1973 · 27/11/2024 18:14

@mumontherun can you ring them to change to the 7.5? They should allow you to before its been dispatched? Its just so difficult isnt it wondering whats right and wrong with all of this? I fear that im going up too early with still another lot to lose but my provider made me feel less anxious about all of that today so am pleased I plucked up the courage to speak to them in person and getting that advice.. they based my decision on how much food chatter I have, any side effects and suppression level..I do think it's time for me with all of that xx

Mum0ntherun · 27/11/2024 18:24

@Changinghabits1973 already on its way (too darn efficient 😆). Well I’ll just have to get on with it and if I can get through Christmas then I can get through anything🤞🏻it’s the snacking that I’m worried about as I’m already having to use stronger willpower 🐽🐷😁.

eeeeeeeee · 27/11/2024 18:29

@Azuresky68 oh wow, you look really fit and trim! Our height/weight is quite similar so love seeing how people with similar proportions are getting on. Well done!

You could try syringe method and go up slightly each week on the 5mg pen maybe to give you a bit more suppression etc .. 😉

Hopefully it works well for you, and maybe if you wanted to increase your dose early you could top it up with a bit from the “bonus” dose. I don’t know off the top of my head how much is included but might have a bit extra to go to 7.5mg if needed.

owlyboo · 27/11/2024 18:46

Well done @Azuresky68 you look fabulous!

Sorry you're still poorly @Blondeshavemorefun I'm still pretty ropey. I made the kids spag bol for tea and plated it for myself as well and I managed about 4 mouth fulls and it made me feel so 🤢 so had to go lie on the sofa.

Awww thanks 😊 I really want to get down to 9 stone. Last time in lockdown I got to 9 stone 4 but went between that and 10 stone over the 2 years then the extra stone appeared bringing me to 11 stone then I discovered MJ!

Do I win pooing in the woods if I tell you I have a poo trowel!? I like wild camping and it's an essential piece of kit 😂

😅😅😅😅

owlyboo · 26/11/2024 21:07

@Azuresky68 did you use a leaf? 😂😂😂

Sometimes, unless it was a pine forest 😅😅😅

Dogsandswimming · 27/11/2024 19:45

@Azuresky68 you look absolutely fantastic - it's so good to see you as I'm another 4ft 11inches person.

I'm was aiming for 10st because I've never been slim, always a bit chunky and weighed 9st-9st 7lbs in my teens and twenties (I'm now in my 60s!). So I'm ignoring the BMI numbers and favouring fitness - which is a much better measure for me.

I think the difference in weight is my big bust, which I've always been self conscious about. So my big decision is whether to have a breast reduction - I'd just love to be comfortable but wonder if I'm being stupid at this age??

weaseleyes · 27/11/2024 19:49

I'd see what happens to your bust as you lose weight @Dogsandswimming. My niece thought she'd always have a big bust no matter her weight and she'd gained and lost several times, but just when she saved up enough to have a reduction (in her fifties), she lost weight again and her bust magically reduced too!

NippyCrab · 27/11/2024 19:52

Hey all you wee beauties, @Azuresky68 wow you look amazing, what a difference, you look super trim and glowing. Xx
@SilverSprings510 you are the weight loss queen of consistency and that is the best loss ever, you must be so chuffed with your progress. Xx

@Princessandthepie i think trust your gut with who you tell, last weekend we were at the beach and someone I used to see a lot walking commented saying you've lost a lot of weight have you been trying? I said yes just healthy eating and cutting portion sizes. I said to DH in the van that maybe i should have told her about MJ because she was moaning she was struggling with her weight, he said no, keep your business to yourself as you never know what their reaction will be. Xx

@MabelSpan I'm so excited to be chosen haha, I had emailed them to enquire about the launch and got that email today yippee. Xx

@MargoLivebetter yes!! We need a bell like in Selling Sunset when they have a huge sale haha. Xx

@Blondeshavemorefun @owlyboo that's pants you are both still having the scoots and feeling bleugh, it's definitely a bug or maybe the raw catguts haha 😄 💖

@Changinghabits1973 I'm missing so much of this thread but managing a check in lol. Are you feeling better? Your positivity is jumping out your posts I'm loving it! Well done on your loss and it's helpful to see what you're eating too, did you mean you cooked the chicken in buttermilk? It sounds nice. I did say I would be better with food prep xx
@Mum0ntherun i hear you re the snacking, my willpower is knowing how awful and 🤢 i will feel if I crumble to the crumble haha.
@troppibambini6 I'm the same with suppression, I've never not had it, i do and have felt it lessening on the low dose because I was on 2.5 for a while, I did 3.75 and moved to 4 and I still feel okay on that.
Little cupcake is much better again today, that's her antibiotics finished so I'm getting a pee sample tomorrow morning and I'll dip it here before handing into the vet. I need to do an insurance claim now boo the bill is nearly £650. We've not long shelled out nearly £2k for our big boy due to his skin and it wasn't covered as a pre existing urgh bloody mutts!

I went and got my hair done today and my hairdresser said omg you've lost so much weight, i felt great and I didn't look like a big lardy flump in the mirror! I braved a fringe, my first since primary school 😂 and after years and years of blonde I decided to stop fighting the 🫚🦰and asked for a colour match and another lowlight with foils. She said thank f@*k because she's fed up me getting ashy blonde and moaning it goes yellow when the copper comes through haha. I felt my new weight loss and face deserved a makeover.

I had a bacon and cherry tomato omelette with cheese and it was delish!

You all sound so organised with food, can you all take turns and batch cook for me? 😂
Hair pic attached, I've scrubbed my face off because I take the worst ever picture and look very very old today cos I'm shattered!

Agree @Mum0ntherun we know a lot and as all on different strengths and have different symptoms and suppression I think between us we are a fountain of knowledge
