Fantastic losses! @4pink1blue 💃💃💃
What app do you use to track your weight?

Happy Friday Everyone.

I’ve finally hit my two and half stone mark 🙌🏼

Massive well done!!

FlappingMadly · 08/11/2024 09:16

whoop! @Blondeshavemorefun 💃💃💃
Fab NSV @WitchDancer. what a great feeling.

I have lost 1.6kg. It’s okay and I imagine my body is enough already with the resetting! But can’t lie - am a bit disappointed. I am doubling down on calorie counting. Think I’ve been a bit slack lately and thought not snacking counts for more than it did.

i’ve gone from size 20 to 18 in jeans and 40G M&S extra support bra to 36G (but need to lose more for a better fitting). Have got my pretty Prima Donna bras out for tlc in the hope I’ll get into them soon. In reality I should be something like a 34D which I was many MANY moons ago and a size 4/6 petit probably 😱. I’m 5.4, size 4 feet.

FlappingMadly · 08/11/2024 09:20

@SammySays big hugs. Can you switch your defeated round to determined? I am sure the pictures showed progress which your mind didn’t see. It’s just a weekend. Your next one will see progress and so on.

NippyCrab · 08/11/2024 09:50

@Blondeshavemorefun 🥳💪👏💃💃💃💃whoop go Blondes, go Blondes go Blondes. 3st is fecking phenomenal. I've not given birth to poo baby, more a plop so it doesnt deserve a name @FlappingMadly. Maybe @owlyboo will gift us this week's bambino 😂
@20bloodypounds i think I'm immune to any constipation remedies, the prunes work after so many days but i need a stack of them. I think i will also add prune juice to the shopping today.

@poppym12 I'm not sure, 3 or 5 maybe? Hopefully you're feeling much better.

@owlyboo our intestines better start stepping up to birth daily lol 😆

@4pink1blue @lmmj15 @WitchDancer fabulous losses and NSV too 🥳
@ChunkyMunky thank goodness your tummy settled for you, have a good wee day.
@SammySays you will and can do this! It's bloody hard but we've all got this together!
@Blondeshavemorefun wee, weigh, jab.. its WWJ day haha, I'm going to use that now WWJ Friday 🙌

Well...... ive done a wee plop, widdled and fed the Damnatians. Stripped off and I've lost a wee 1/2 pound which I'm actually really happy about. Happy because there was a little 6 there so I'm going down towards my next small goal target, and happy because I've been rubbish with fluids this week again! I'm 12st 6.5lbs. Xxxx

owlyboo · 08/11/2024 09:54

@FlappingMadly is that 3kbs? I'd say that's a great loss!

Well done on the 💩 and loss @NippyCrab

owlyboo · 08/11/2024 09:58

🎵if you go down to the woods today you'll find a little owlyboo! 🎵

That's a lovely shot @owlyboo! Also fab to see some great losses this week. @FlappingMadly - you absolutely aren't allowed to be disappointed with 1.6kg.

I've squeaked a 2lb loss, although it feels like it's only really 1lb given I put on a lb last week during an hour's lie in in which nothing whatsoever passed my lips 😠Anyway, it's off again and has taken a tiny friend with it. I'm now @lmmj15's 2.5 stone twin. The last two or three weeks feel pretty static for some reason, even though I have lost a bit - maybe there's a 3 month MJ equivalent of the 7 year itch? Am focusing on hanging on in there grimly and determinedly 💪

owlyboo · 08/11/2024 10:34

Whoop well done @weaseleyes !!

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2024 10:40

Thank you all. Quite chuffed got this far tbh

@FlappingMadly that's 3lbs. I would be very happy with that. Why aren't you ?

@SammySays I still look huge in photos that I saw the other day that someone out on Fb

I know it's hard but don't be disheartened. You and I and all on thread have lost weight. That something to be proud of

@owlyboo hello fellow weight twin

@NippyCrab I'm almost at 3st. Hopefully that will be next week

Poo plop 😂 Ella's kitchen prune sachet was always good for constipated babies /toddlers

Well done on 1/2 loss - it's all adds up

@weaseleyes well done on loss and lovely pic

Friday will now be known As WWJ day 😂😂😂

Few of us weigh Fri.

You’ve got this twinny 💪🏼

20bloodypounds · 08/11/2024 11:15

I've got fair-hair aka mousey rather than blonde, but in the sunshine it gets natural blonde streaks. Funny thing is that now I'm getting some grey it has become difficult to distinguish the grey/white hairs from the gold/blonde, so in summer I actually look fairer than I did 10 years ago. In winter I look mousey AND grey!

And on the subject of hair I had mine trimmed yesterday. Last visit to the hairdresser was pre-MJ and I hated sitting looking at my fat, flabby, jowly face. I'm by no means chiselled of cheekbone, but yesterday it wasn't so awful.

@FlappingMadly I'm also going to pay more attention to calories and to what I'm eating. I could do with a final push before going on holiday.

FlappingMadly · 08/11/2024 11:18

Whoops! Super sorry guys! Typo 🤦‍♀️. 0.8kg! But thanks so much for your lovely comments.💐
Have just weighed again and have lost 1.2kg, 2.6lb.🤣. And you’re right. It really is fine and going in the right direction. Thanks for the reality check. It’s hard not to get despondent when you have a lot to lose.
Jab day today.

FlappingMadly · 08/11/2024 12:27

@20bloodypounds it’s really worth doing. I was going to have a couple slices of toast with our pretty healthy low calorie shakshuka but after inputting opted to stir a green chilli through and add a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.

poppym12 · 08/11/2024 13:40

Seeing all your fabulous losses and feeling a bit despondent. I've just looked back at weigh-ins and I seem to be losing around 1kg per week. Maybe that's not so bad after all? Just seems to take so long because I'm not even half way yet.

I might rethink moving up a dose and stay on 5 for another week.

@poppym12 that's 2 lbs a week

Perfectly normal

I usually lose 1 a week so .5kg roughly

This week was 2

Not often happens

I've got one dose plus bonus left in a 5mg pen (second 5mg pen). I'm thinking of increasing my dose this weekend to somewhere btw 5 and 7.5 but I'd prefer to do it with clicks than a syringe.

So if 60 clicks are a full 5mg dose, if I then want to take 1 more mg to make total dose 6mg, how many more clicks do I need with a new needle?

I did exactly that this week, it was 12 clicks, no additional side effects and weight loss seems to have restarted.

Changinghabits1973 · 08/11/2024 14:27

Happy Friday peeps... just catching up on the thread since early yesterday...
There has been some excellent losses over the past couple of pages - well done to all of you... Huge congrats x 💕

pippapumpkin · 08/11/2024 14:41

Hi all! Not posted much lately but I’m still plodding on and keeping up with the threads. I’m down to 97kg after starting on almost 113kg 4th August. So just shy of 2.5 stone down 😱

Really resonated with the conversation earlier in the threads about it being boring now, but I find the MJ in my system keeps me plodding on till I see the next change so I don’t hit the F it button like all previous attempts. This week I had just my bra on while I was getting my toddler dressed and caught view of my back in the mirror and wow I defo was getting that fatty back overhang above my hips before and it’s gone…amazing! That was my win this week. Also my MIL commented and that’s the first person who has noticed and commented so that felt good.

Think I was another one stretching my size 20s because all my clothes seem to still fit just they look so much better. I would hazard I’m a comfortable 18 now but the amount of clothes I’d stopped wearing I have plenty to get through before I can go shopping. Dying to get to a 14 so I can go shopping 😂

It’s an absolute relief to be able to get dressed in the morning and not feel like an ogre. Keep on keeping on, we’re gonna be so healthy and even more gorgeous for 2025 haha x

Timetochange24 · 08/11/2024 14:54

Just checking in - it's been a busy week and I'm struggling to keep up but it looks like lots more progress towards your goals. Great work Team August!

I weigh daily so tend not to post regular stats but today's the day for one I think 😀 After 3 weeks of wobbling around between 78 and 79 kg, I've had a post-period whoosh down to 76.8 so that makes it:

SW: 89kg/14st/BMI 34.77
CW: 76.8kg/12st 1lb/BMI 30

My goal weight is 10st so that makes me 1lb away from half way and not being obese for the first time in years. Fingers crossed for this whoosh continuing tomorrow!!

Right... back to work then I'm going to try and catch up properly this evening.

owlyboo · 08/11/2024 15:06

Ah well done @FlappingMadly we must have secretly known your real loss!

@poppym12 1kg is over 2lbs that's a great loss per week!!

@pippapumpkin great overall loss, well done you!

Well done @Timetochange24 great to be almost half way!

I had a day off today so after my walk I came back and tackled my wardrobe in the hope I'd swap summer to winter. Literally nothing fits me. I found a load of old hoodies that were to small and are now to big and will do for this winter but I've put literally every pair of jeans I own on vinted as they're falling off me. (Haven't worn jeans since pre MJ as was in summer things turn went straight into leggings and t shirts! All my 16s are huge and even some of the 14s (but they would have been big 14s... I stupidly threw all my skinny clothes away when I loved house around a year or so ago so I will eventually just have to buy all new... the leggings/oversized jumpers will do me until I'm comfortably into a 12 as I fear 14s will be to big to quickly!

Motnight · 08/11/2024 15:40

Just checking in 👋.

Plodding on and lost another couple of pounds last week. I got 2 10 mg pens but not too sure whether I should stay on 7.5 when I inject this weekend.

I feel that I am in danger of becoming overwhelmed with the weight that I still need to use. I am over 2 stone lighter than I was 12 weeks ago but have so much more to lose and am struggling to see how I physically look any different. I will keep going, I don't have any choice but feeling a bit flat about it all rather than happy.

4pink1blue · 08/11/2024 16:07

Hubby has just done my new pen progress pics. I know there's a long way to go but the difference in 12 weeks is making me believe I may actually do it. My first 7.5 jab is in now so hoping it agrees with me 🤞

Great losses and NSVs today ladies. Well done!

I have the dreaded sulphur burps. First time I’ve had them and my god they are vile. My stomach is also bubbling so hopefully just need a good poo 💀

I’m going to use my last 5mg plus my bonus next week to get ready for 7.5 the week after.
