I haven't been on in a few days as life has just been so busy. I honestly don't know where the last week has gone and I feel like I've not sat down.
It's been a pretty busy weekend so far!
Yesterday I took my son to watch a away football match (I don't even like football, but it's what you do for your kids and he's a massive fan) and we went out for breakfast. I had a crepe with Nutella and just about managed to eat it but felt okay.
Then after the match, the car park was chocka block so we stopped off at KFC and I had a mini wrap and mini fillet 😳. I didn't enjoy it at all and felt bleurgh afterwards.
Then I was going out for a meal with friends in the evening.. to be honest I didn't really fancy anything to eat off the menu but I ordered 3 small plates- Halloumi popcorn, garlic ciabatta and steamed duck dumplings.. the dumplings were absolutely vile and I refused to eat them. I picked at the ciabatta but ate the halloumi popcorn.
So overall I pretty much wasted my money on that meal but the company made up for it.
I just can't believe I ate out three times yesterday 🤣. I won't be doing that again.
Today has been a bit of a slower day but I've decided I want to do a full declutter and deep clean of the house over the next couple of weeks.
We've started with the kitchen and have been going through the cupboards and have got rid of quite a bit so far!
I had a lot of glass jars and similar items that we no longer have use for but we're in very good condition so we donated a lot of them to the charity shop.
I was surprised when we went to the charity shop, how much stuff they already had in stock (all of the rails were colour coded and very neat) and how much other stuff they had in a large space in corner of room, of stuff people had donated.
I'm very mindful of what to donate and what to just get rid of.
After we've finished the cupboards, my next plan is to do a freezer inventory and work out what we've got and hopefully work through it all over the next few weeks.
In regards to weight loss.. I've lost a total of 1.6kg/3.5lb this week. I did weigh this morning and was up about 1.5lb up but I put that down to all the salty food yesterday and plus I am due on my period.
I have a NSV too. Earlier this year I bought a 44 inch width bra and it would dig in under cups and felt so tight that I couldn't wear it (obviously the wrong size).
When we went on holiday (pre MJ) I measured as a 46 width bra so bought a couple to wear.
Since losing weight on MJ (from 23rd August), my boobs kept slipping out of the cups underneath. I was getting frustrated and it never crossed my mind that it would be due to me losing weight and needing a smaller size.
So I tried on the 44in bra yesterday and it fits like a dream! My boobs have not popped out once, have been well supported and I've had no pain.
It's the small things x
