Hello how are you all? I've been missing a few days but have caught up, omg the posts are just so motivational!

@4pink1blue wow what a difference, you look bloody fantastic!

@Blondeshavemorefun i know you cant see it but there was a definite difference in your pics before, it will come ❤️

@Changinghabits1973 hello my wee twinny in crime haha, the wee poppet hasn't been good, back at vet and more antibiotics. There's more detail but it would totally derail. The perfume sounds lovely, I do like a nice perfume.

@owlyboo snap on the weight result, I'm exactly 12st 4lbs yesterday, lost a wee 6oz 😂 in was going to weigh today but was too tired. I've eaten a lot of toast this week and not proper meals albeit good thing so I think my body is hanging on to anything this week.

I jabbed 4mg yesterday and this morning I had a banana before the vet at 9 then came home and had my yogurt, seeds and cranberries with oats. I was full for ages, DH was having soup at lunch and I wasn't really bothered about much, I bought a stollen thing yesterday at Morrisons and had a bit of that, then another 😳 and swear to God you could see my stomach going up like a balloon! I couldn't face dinner and I've had a slice of toast (need to stop that!) The stollen was worth it, sooooo nice.

I am looking for a set of hand weights, nothing too fancy I wondered if anyone could recommend some? I did have Davina McCall 5kg ones but they have mysteriously disappeared 😔

@MabelSpan i think i will do a 4.5 this Friday depending on the suppression by the end of the week. I'm so glad your side effects are practically zero, you've really had a shit time with it. I'm reading the thread about maintaining and did see someone who didn't last long because of the side effects. They are brutal for some. I couldn't have coped with any diarrhea and vomiting like a few have.

I know i have missed lots of people, I'm sorry, I'm not keeping up very well this week. I'm going to measure and see what the differences are again, my boobs are smaller anyway much to DH dismay haha. They're still a DD cup ffs.

owlyboo · 23/11/2024 19:26

Twin @NippyCrab !!! Although I dream of DD I've definitely gone down a back size to a 36 but I'm still massive in the boob department at least an F down from a G. Hoping they deflate soon. At my smallest I was an E cup and that was about a stone ish from now so hoping the next stone comes exclusively from boobs and tummy.. and ideally find itself on my arse as I don't have one 😂😂

Working Out Beast Mode GIF by Shalita Grant

@owlyboo I'm sure we've been long running same weight twins! I have no arse, it's annoying, it seems all my weight has been dissolved from my bum, boobs, and thighs weirdly. I noticed today my arms are wobbly, not exactly bingo wingy but empty, hence the request for hand weight recommendations. Maybe because we walk a lot our legs and arses are going haha.
August lasses will have the best asses 🙌 😌 😋

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/11/2024 19:46

I hope so @owlyboo I know you all say you can see the diff in my pics but apart from a bit off my hips I see no change

One would expect 3s loss to show

@NippyCrab thanks and As above

and sorry pho poorly again. But yah for a loss

OP posts:
owlyboo · 23/11/2024 19:49

@NippyCrab you're probably right. My arse is none existent but it isn't wobbly so every cloud 😂

I have the les mills bar and weights but it isn't cheap. To be honest any hand weights will be fine just use some weight gloves especially if you go for a bar or kettle bell as you might find you develop callouses if not. I did when I did a lot of weight training at the gym and the gloves helped loads!!

owlyboo · 23/11/2024 19:52

@Blondeshavemorefun I could definitely see a difference but I think you're very in proportion so distribute your weight evenly (as do I) so I think that can mean it's harder to see weight loss as you lose it all over so you stay the same shape but have a smaller shape. Ultimately this is good as you're in proportion all over but it just takes time to see it!!

morbidcuriosity · 23/11/2024 20:34

Hey guys.. posted in another thread but...
What are your constipation reliefs? .
Only thing I've suffered with. I've added prunes to my diet, I eat bran flakes with my yoghurt, 3 or 4 times a week..
What else can I do...

Duculax worked but I don't want to rely on that, I'm now taking movical to help..

What am I missing?

owlyboo · 23/11/2024 20:40

@morbidcuriosity not exactly helpful
But I've had awful constipation for the whole of MJ, I'm nearly 100 days in, second week of 10mg and I'm suddenly back to being normal again so 🤞 it stays and 🤞 yours comes soon!! When I was deep in constipation it was only laxatives/suppositories that helped

morbidcuriosity · 23/11/2024 20:48

@owlyboo I've just counted, I'm.94 days in. But still on 5mg.. bonus dose of 2nd pen Monday.. and thinking of staying on 5 as its working..

Maybe I just need to up my fibre and water.. trying so hard to have minimal 2lts per day, sometimes not hitting that, maybe that's the trick?

owlyboo · 23/11/2024 20:49

@morbidcuriosity I always hit water but no idea about fibre. I think I'm the same ish. 20th August for me. I get the frustration this is my first week without any 'help' in that department!

Velondra · 23/11/2024 21:04

Haven't been on for a while but have now been on mounjaro for 13 weeks and have lost almost 40lbs in the time. Have gone from a size 24 to a size 20.

Well done to everyone for your losses

morbidcuriosity · 23/11/2024 21:05

21st August started.. was a Wednesday, but changed my day to a Monday a few weeks in..
I've had about 3 situations now where its (tmi) painful and a bit stuck.. but I don't want to carry on like this..
I'm thinking more water more fibre.. but who knows..

Glad it's my only side affect but sometime would love it the other way, but then if I had that I would prob wish for the blockage. Haha..

I haven't had. Apart from after I gave birth

Lactulose is your fried

owlyboo · 23/11/2024 21:08

@morbidcuriosity honestly I was exactly the same including the few very painful times of passing (tmi) and it's only been a week on being back to normal so may way not stick but we shall see. A suppository once or twice a week definitely help avoid the pain and back up.

Thanks to whoever posted about Rennies for sulphur burps. I had them one day last week for the first time (first 7.5mg dose) . Oh my days, they are vile. Started in the middle of the night and just didn’t stop. In the morning, I took an oregano oil capsule and a rennie and, thankfully, they disappeared. I’m now carrying Rennies everywhere just in case!

I went through a phase of needing fybogel every day, plus I also kept up with psyllium husk sprinkled on my food - usually on my yoghurt,

Once I was ‘going’ again, I started taking the wellgard fibre gummies every day - they seem to do the trick I haven’t struggled with constipation for weeks and weeks now.

@Princessandthepie woohooo dancing here for you!!

MabelSpan · 24/11/2024 09:49

@morbidcuriosity I find I need to have a little bowl of prunes, between 60g and 100g to guarantee a result, usually within 6 to 24hrs, eating a few daily didnt really help me. I also take inulin fibre which is great, drink lots of water and eat plenty of green veg.

@Velondra Congrats on your fab weight loss and dress size drops!

@Princessandthepie Keeeep dancing! Fab result to see 12!!!

lookathatbookcase · 24/11/2024 11:02

Oh wow @4pink1blue you look incredible!
@Blondeshavemorefun are you having a wobble? There was a definite difference and is increasing all the time! Sorry you’re feeling sicky.
@NippyCrab sounds like your pup is still not out of the woods. Hope you get to the bottom of it

Amazing losses and NSV’s and holidays being booked! Big congrats everyone!! I read all your news but head too fuzzy to tag.

I originally thought I’d lose the weight and stop MJ and go it alone. But as the research shows losing and maintaining for a decent amount of time such as 2 years significantly reduces risk of diabetes for years and the more you lose the better the protection, I’ll be continuing on MJ maybe every other week or sth. I’ve got a lot more to lose anyway so am going to be on it for a while. Hope everyone who has reached their goal will stay to be cheered on and supported.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/11/2024 12:15

@Princessandthepie sorry missed your update as just posted

That's amazing. Well done !!!

@FlappingMadly it's worse staying on it if uou can for a while after at goal weight

Not a wobble as such but I really see the diff on @4pink1blue pics

Your friends must have noticed and asked you

Even if you say eating less /exercising more /less carbs /more protein /counting calories etx
