Welcome all.

Been 3mths now since we started.

I was hoping to stay on 7.5mg for a while, but I understand that the therapeutic doses are 5 and 10mg, so perhaps that's why Voy didn't ask me. First time that they haven't though. Thanks for all your comments on other suppliers, I'll have a wee think!

Eugh @NippyCrab much better off without that slug of a man!

5mg is seen as the minimum therapeutic dose @Snoopsteandcooper - above that, all doses are therapeutic.

@Blondeshavemorefun yes I've lost around 2.5st and would like to get to 3 if poss but not sure how realistic that'll be, especially as I do a lot of weight training

@AdeloreSmore fantastic news about your blood pressure.

@Snoopsteandcooper I am with Voy and have to watch them like a hawk and message them with very specific instructions about the dose I want, otherwise they try and decide what they think I should be on. They are pricey too, but I just can't be arsed to change supplier at the moment. On the plus side the date of delivery is helpful.

@NippyCrab sorry to hear about your awful ex. It sounds like you are headed for happier times without him and will be looking fabulous too.

@Snoopsteandcooper I've been with Voy since the start, they email to say what dose they are sending and automatically put you on the higher dose but you can always change it if you want. I've never been "forced" to go up a dose. But obviously you have a time window in which to change the order.

I am leaving them but only because I've found it cheaper elsewhere but customer service wise,can't really fault Voy, they're just very pricey.

Thanks @MargoLivebetter and @Princessandthepie. They've usually email me to check which dose I'd like, but this time they've just moved me up without asking. They've charged me the same for the higher dose as I was for lower dose, so for this pen I can count clicks if I don't want to move up. I will look to moving though as I've not used their coaching.

Morning all - happy Wednesday !!

I didn't have time to check in until now this morning - left early for my swim and only just got back ... ITS FREEZING OUTSIDE BUT SO NICE AND COSY IN THE STEAM ROOM! I could have stayed there all day but i was looking a bit like a crinkled prune after a couple of hours !!

Anyway weigh day for me today - i did that before i left and i don't know how, or why, and i don't feel like questioning it as i will take it.... but i have lost 4.6 lbs! Am so happy... 😂

SW: 9th August 2024 - 19st 5lb - 271 lbs - 123kg
CW: 20th November 2024 - 15st 7lb - 217 lbs - 98.4kg
Nearly 15 weeks in on MJ
GW: We will keep assessing but would love the 11 or 10st bracket ....

That 4st loss is very nearly in sight to be honest; just another 2 lbs - would be nice to see that next week but it depends on my body in reality ... even if i stay the same for a couple of weeks i will be happy; i gave myself a goal to achieve of 15st 11lb by Christmas Eve back in August and have already completed that milestone so my next mini goal has been set on Renpho to be in the "14 st bracket" on 5th January 2025 so will see... !!

I think i got pretty emotional TBH this morning whilst swimming as for the first time in i don't know how many years to be under (i know only slightly!) the 100kg bracket means the world xx 😍

Morning all! Weigh in for me today and I’m -2lbs, taking me down to -3st1lb/-43lb/19.5kg overall. I am glad I’ve moved up from 5 to 7.5mg as I had very little suppression at all last week, that weight loss is definitely through willpower! I was absolutely ravenous yesterday before I had my jab.

Thanks for the nice comments re the exh, I met my DH and fell head over heels in love with him and never looked back. @Blondeshavemorefun i would have killed for my dogs, he could have the bricks not my babies haha. I had to re home my chickens though and 2 cats.

I don't know where energy is coming from but I love it, it's like when I first started on MJ. I feel I've been in a slump and I've booted myself up the arse and off I go again haha. Wishing you all a happy hump day. Xx

Well, just checking in with everyone for a bit of an update really and have a bit of time whilst i drink my green tea as have had most of the day at home today which is unusual !

So after my swim this morning, i was feeling really energised for some reason ! I don't know what's been going on this past week for me but i haven't had any side effects at all, toilet habits are now daily (TMI !!) and feel like i could go clubbing every night ! (That's not going to happen BTW, I'm 51 and my clubbing days are over (i think !!) But hope that this energy and positive mood remains with me !!

So, decided to look through my two wardrobes and see what I can sort through, donate, sell etc - I have been buying the odd thing from Vinted every so often but in the smaller sizes so that i have a fallback in another wardrobe, but OMG, i hadn't realised until today that so many clothes look very tent-like and just way too big so i have just spent the past 3.5 hours doing that - have just walked up to the local charity shop and donated a huge bag full and then some of my "nice" "branded" stuff i have now uploaded to sell on Vinted ! Posted two Nike hoodies and literally they were sold within seconds... it wasn't to make money, but to be honest i just didn't want to donate all to the charity shop as i donate regularly there and i have sold them really cheap so happy to make someone else's day !
Then, so impulsive of me.......there is no going back now.......
I have only gone and booked a flipping holiday ! I know it's 18 months away, June 2026, but 11 nights, near Africa, all inclusive, deals on for solo travellers and i just couldn't leave it in my basket without checking out with TUI !! So it's done - have been thinking about it for a few weeks, i have been abroad on my own twice before i met my previous partner (was with him for 14 years so a long time ago!) but really enjoyed it meeting new people and not having the arguments that we did all the time when we went abroad together ! Also, with it being 18 months away that is spurring me on today to be completely the best version of myself when i am there physically and mentally and i can't bloody wait !!

A friend did solo for 4days when her child was with her ex on holiday

She said it was weird Alone but nice and glad she did it

Definitely got suppression back with this new dose as had a shake and about 2/3s a tin of tomato soup and still feel very full. Hoping it’ll have a bit of a 💩 effect soon to be honest as not been great past few days!

My suppression has seemed to have gone again

I get a bit emotional now again when I catch sight of myself in the mirror now a days as it's made me realise how unhappy I was before I lost all this weight as I actively ignored mirrors/windows as I hated what looked back at me. Also yay to your productive day and holiday!!

I had forest school again today. To say it was cold was an understatement, it even snowed! Brrrr!! I'm now showered with an oodie and the heating on!!! ☃️

Ooohhh exciting @Changinghabits1973! I'm a serial solo traveller. I usually have at least 3 solo breaks per year but it's not been possible this year as we've moved house (and paying for mounjaro puts a dent in my funds!).

I've never been to Africa, closest I've been is the Canary Islands which I adore. What brilliant motivation for you .
