Never mind @WitchDancer onwards and downwards next week!! You're so close!

@Fuffedoff 4kg is a very doable target by the end of the year. My 'aim' is 1kg a week. So far I've been very fortunate that it's always been that or more. Obviously I know at some point I'll have a STS or gain but it's always good to have a target. I feel really confident you will be able to continue losing sensibly after you stop MJ and begin TTC as you've have the goal of being as fit as possible before you conceive to keep you going! So exciting!!

Isn't to cold here but it's wet... I forced myself for a very drizzly, grey walk first thing.

I have a lot, lot more to lose.. but I'm more then happy to reach my first goal and then continue to lose at a sensible pace.

I'd like to get down to 105kg minimum by end of January, if not more. (I'm currently at 111.8kg).

Then the plan is continue to lose slowly over next 18-24 months.

I know with pregnancy you obviously put on weight, but I have enough reserves that I can continue to watch what I eat without drastic results. I'm aware of what I need to do and foods to eat.

I also hope to continue exercising and build up my fitness and stamina.

I'd never rule out Mounjaro once again in the future but by the time I come off, I will have been on it for a total of 4 months which has given me a good insight to how well it works.

I'm just having a quick lunch then off out on a visit ☺️

Princessandthepie · 19/11/2024 14:18

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've not been around much, I thought life would quite down but it hasn't!

Stepped on the scales this morning and another 2lb down so I'm 13 stones now! Seems crazy to think that I could be in the 12s very soon!

The cold weather isn't agreeing with me, I'm freezing and it seems to be encouraging me getting my munch on!! Definitely more snacking this week but I have also had my period and I'm always hungrier when I'm on.

SW 15 stones 8lbs
CW 13 stones
36lbs off in 3 months!

Very happy with that but definitely need to get exercising, I really need to start toning up before next spring/summer. Quite happy to hide under layers right now though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/11/2024 14:20

It's all going in the right direction @WitchDancer Sorry for sts and hope for a whoosh next week

@CrazyGoatLady you've still lost 2.5s is that right and want to go to 3 ish

My 100g loss here and there has finally moved me down a stone bracket. Only by a whisker but I'll take it!

Only been able to face a slice of toast today. Maybe moving up to 7.5 wasn't my brightest idea.

NippyCrab · 19/11/2024 15:16

Hello, hello, how are you all? I've missed lots of posts jeez oh. It's baltic here, I've been busy painting and dealing with the Damnatian Mafia! Little chocolate chip cookie is so much better, her temperature did go down, I took it last night and it was 103 but she had been sleeping and next to the radiator 😆

I've felt a bit nauseous and I'm putting it down to my dose increase to a mahoosive 4mg haha. I'm hoping for another 2lbs loss this week as I've been super active and been good with eating. I've got a 5mg pen in the fridge and I think I will order one more when Oushk have the 25 quid off offer on and that will take me into February ish. I'm hoping to be at target and I can move to maintenance. I need to be really focused though because we've booked our holiday for June so I'm mindful of that. It will be my first holiday I won't be "fat".

I have a small confession, I've not said this out loud to anyone. I think only you all will understand. One of the main reasons I started MJ was for my health and I couldn't do it alone, I needed to shed the weight to take the pressure of my crumbling body. Amongst a few others, there's one little thought that I'm also doing this to prove to my exh I can do this! He said to me continually throughout our relationship I would never be slim, I was built to be heavy. Even when I was a size 12 he saw me as fat. I can remember once asking him if a particular top looked like I was showing too much cleavage, he said well all I can see are fat tits so no. I was a 14 then. I want to get to a weight I'm happy with and hope I bump into him and do this 🖕

I need to scroll back up again and catch up.

AdeloreSmore · 19/11/2024 18:46

NSV Klaxon!!! Been monitoring my shitty blood pressure and can now halve my bp medication as for the first time in over 30years - I have a normal blood pressure!

owlyboo · 19/11/2024 18:58

@Fuffedoff with my first I PILED on the weight and then had to lose it all which took ages (don't worry that's not my advice!! Imagine what a Debbie downer!) however with my second I was very fit and slim when I got pregnant with him and was determined not to let what happened with my first pregnancy happen again and I continued to go to the gym throughout (even when I got PGP I switched to suitable exercises such as aqua aerobics etc.) and I didn't use the pregnancy as an excuse to eat and I was back in my size 10's by the time he was six weeks so you can definitely feel
Optimistic that pregnancy doesn't have to be a reason not to maintain/even lose if done correctly (my friend stuck at slimming world during her second pregnancy and came out lighter).

Well done @Princessandthepie!

Well done on the new stone bracket @poppym12

@NippyCrab I'm with you! To be fair my ex husband never mentioned weight but he did leave and have an affair so I'm quite enjoying every time I see him every few weeks when he has the kids him looking more and more curiously at me like something is different 😂😂

Your ex husband sounds like a 🔔end im so sorry he felt it okay to speak to you like that.

@AdeloreSmore that is absolutely fantastic you should be so proud! Well done you!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/11/2024 19:22

@poppym12 sorry been poorly but yah for the 100g

@NippyCrab glad pup is better and fuck the ex. He was the reason you couldn't lose weight tho at size 12 that's hardly porky

Great NSV @AdeloreSmore anything that has bettered our health has to be good

I didn't gain weight when Loren due to dreadful hg and was back in my jeans at 3w

Tho they were 18

But I've generally been at 18 for years but think over the last few years crept to 20 but never bought a 20 afaik

Just stretched clothes I guess

weaseleyes · 19/11/2024 20:06

@NippyCrab sounds like a good NS goal to me!

I have a less emotive version in that my best friend of 35 years always sees me as an overweight person, even though he's known me at very different weights and I was a normal weight for many of those years. He's not horrible, and doesn't ever usually comment, it's just the fat version of me is now lodged as his mental image. I only realised this a few years ago when I lost a fair bit and he congratulated me and declared he'd never seen me so tiny. I pointed out that most of the time he'd known me I'd been about 3 stone lighter again and he was genuinely astonished. I'm determined to reach and maintain a lower weight to replace his mental image!

weaseleyes · 19/11/2024 20:10

And @AdeloreSmore that is absolutely awesome work! Honestly, you can't hope for a better outcome than that, I'm so pleased for you.

Snoopsteandcooper · 19/11/2024 20:14

Hi all! Permission to have a mini rant about Voy. Firstly, I ordered a 7.5mg pen last month and they emailed before I ordered it to see if I wanted to move up from 5mg. I assumed they would do the same this month, but they've just emailed to say they're sending a 10mg. I haven't even started the 7.5mg yet as I used extra dose. Then I just looked at their website, which they've updated today and they seem to have changed their pricing structure again! So, I feel like I've been paying over the odds now for the last few months. I like their reliability but they seem to chop and change their business model really frequently and I find this in addition to the mlm type sharing of codes annoying!

Snoopsteandcooper · 19/11/2024 20:20

So, looking at Voy, it would appear that they are now going to stick to a stricter dosing schedule and not allow you to stay on lower doses. Wonder if that's a regulatory thing or a business decision. If it's a business decision, then I can't see people wanting to be forced to move up to 10mg in 4 months.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/11/2024 20:22

Seems costly @Snoopsteandcooper

This is Med express

But if you want to reorder a dose you can easily

OP posts:
weaseleyes · 19/11/2024 20:23

I don't think it can be regulatory, there'd be no reason to force people onto higher doses than needed.

Snoopsteandcooper · 19/11/2024 20:27

It's an odd decision, smacks of greed and wanting people paying more for longer. Thanks @Blondeshavemorefun , I'm a bit unsure about Medexpress, I've seen some mixed reviews. I may look at Oushk as they do maintenance doses.

owlyboo · 19/11/2024 20:29

@Snoopsteandcooper I'm with chemist4u the bundles they do are really good value. And they do maintenance if that helps.

Been with them since started. No issues

Once pen was delayed and melted as was very hot They sent another

They email back within 24hrs usually

weaseleyes · 19/11/2024 20:47

Medexpress were pretty quick and easy for me, but I switched to IQdoctor as they were cheaper and didn't need me to keep trying to promote my discount code, which made me a bit unhappy (and largely ignored!). They've been good so far and seem to have more of a maintenance stance, albeit less defined than in Oushk packages.

NippyCrab · 19/11/2024 20:49

@Snoopsteandcooper these are Oushk prices with a £25 off sale at the moment. X

@Blondeshavemorefun @owlyboo @weaseleyes i hope i do see him, he's the pits! He's ugly inside and out. I left him mid December and he went on Match in January, got a woman and moved her into MY cottage by the February lol.

@AdeloreSmore omg that is amazing!!

I don't think it can be regulatory, there'd be no reason to force people onto higher doses than needed.

Surely it can't be, people have different tolerances? They can't force people to go up if they're having side effects? Ethically, with medication it's meant to be the lowest therapeutic dose that's effective thats used.

I stayed on 2.5 for my first 2 pens with MedExpress, they don't make you go up a dose as far as I know. Hopefully providers won't start making people do that 😬
