A new one as no 2 was nearly full.

@SunQueen24 my period cravings have gone completely, just like other food noise. Saved a fortune not buying my usual chocolate and crisp stash! I did feel quite lightheaded so upped my carbs while I was on.

Amazing! I think my cycles are the biggest cause of my weight gain TBH.

I read in a Lilly report a while ago that you should lose 5% of your body weight in the first 12 weeks of treatment so don’t be disheartened 🤗

Hi all, I am another lurker lol. Yesterday I took the 'exta' dose from my first 2.5mg pen, really easy to twist it. It seemed to give me a full dose and was a tiny bit left, so I popped another needle on and took that last tiny bit too. Don't be horrified, my reasoning for this is I am trying to bridge that jump to 5mg. My 5mg pen has arrived and I think next week I am going to do 45 clicks then go for the full 5mg amount the week after.
I have found 2.5mg great side effects wise and had a very high suppression up to the middle of week 3 then it gradually became less and less so I know it's time to move up otherwise I would of stayed on 2.5

Week3 jab done last night so second weigh in this morning and I have lost 2.2 lbs. Very happy with that.

I also use Gousto; I’m planning on DH still having 50% of the portion and me having 25% for dinner and the left for lunch the next day. Hoping that works.

My kids eat it two but I get 4x 4 meals usually. DH used to eat loads but is now watching his weight and restricts his portions .

We always use gousto recipes (not actually bought a box in months) I've been making the same quantities. I have a third, husband has 2/3. Then he eats what I can't finish. Guaranteed my husbands weight stays exactly the same even though he's eating significantly more though! It's sooooo unfair!

Absolutely do keep going! I know it can be frustrating when you don't lose as much as hoped, but it's a process, and actually the slower you lose, the more sustainable it tends to be...

I, along with so many others on this thread I'm sure, have struggled with the ups and downs of hopes dashed.... and rekindled....

Took my first ever dose yesterday. So far no ill effects.... and I do notice a glimmer of new hope in me!

I'm really wanting to take this opportunity to change my habits for wellbeing all around, rather than just rely on the drug... I'm hoping that if I need less will power for the actual food part, I could have more energy for things like getting an exercise routine in place, drinking water, taking care of myself etc...

W2D1 2nd jab today. I did the 2nd in my stomach as opposed to my arm where I did the first one, as I have heard stomach is more effective.

First pen was from ‘The slimming clinic’ they have a code on their page and the 2nd pen was from ‘IQ Doctor’ and again they had a code on their page too.

Thanks @financialcareerstuff and @Iwouldratherbesinging you’re both right it’s early days and I’ll just keep going. I have downloaded the free my fitness pal app version so I can track my calories and protein.

I looked on IQDoctor and even without a code its £20 cheaper than my current supplier after their discount code. I could not see a discount code on the homepage for IQDoctor tho. Its still a good price.

I can't seem to get a copy of my prescription to download/share on my current provider - pharmacy2u to send to IQDoctor. Do I need to share this with them to go for the next higher dose?

I have the 'Fat Secret' app (name a bit dubious lol) the free basic bit is great does the job for monitoring calories/fat etc too if anyone needs it

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 I think most suppliers accept a picture of your most recent pen box as proof of previous prescription.

My navy jacket is a (vanity) sized 10 but as I'm a 12/14 atm albeit not big boobed, I am looking chunky in it! My long boots are very tolerant of weight gain but wouldn't want to go any higher than I am now for my horse's welfare and way of going.

I took my fourth dose today. I am 10lbs down in three weeks which is great. Although there is clearly a long way to go!!

First weigh in today, I'm doing it every 4 weeks so I don't know about any tiny losses or 'stay the same' weeks.
I've also had to do it after 3.5 weeks because I'm going away and won't have my scales.

I'm very pleased to have lost 11lbs.

Hi, do you mind me asking how much extra was left in the bonus dose that you took after the main dose please? I’m thinking about doing the same as you, taking the bonus dose and then bridging with the extra, just wondering how much it will be.

Course not. I didn't extract it I twisted twice, was deffo a full dose or thereabouts and my husband reckons about another 0.2 on top of that. I was surprised how much was left as I always prime before a shot (although a wee prime not a shoot it all over lol) have ordered syringes for next time so I can be more accurate. I feel great today and suppression is back, so deffo doing 45 clicks this weekend. When is your last dose, are we at similar stage?
