3rd jab for me yesterday and slow progress. I've lost 7lbs over the last 3 weeks, which isn't great compared to some, but I'm quite happy. Although I have a heck of a lot to lose, I can actually see and feel the difference. My size 18 clothes are fitting better and I reckon I'll be in at least some of my old size 16s when I'm another 7lbs down.
I can see that there are a few of us taking this slower route. It's a good route, so let's celebrate those milestones along the way.
The other thing is that I really don't feel that I am on a diet. I am lucky in that I'm not getting any side effects (at the moment). Okay, a little bit burpy at times, and I feel strangely full, but still capable of eating what I want. I'm eating sensibly and not picking between meals but I'm not counting calories or following any particular diet. Hopefully, I'm already setting down new habits for myself for when I'm off the drugs.
The food noise is very quiet and the alcohol noise has gone. I've had alcohol on one night since I started and I can't say I particularly enjoyed it. This is brilliant for me as I was having a glass or two of wine most nights. It is a bad habit I would like to see the back of forever.
Pashazade - well done on the NSW 😂.
