Second injection this morning and I’ve been violently sick three times throughout the day. Cannot eat anything. On my second day with an eight week old puppy (and 2 young DC) this is not ideal at all. I feel so ill 😣

Oh no, that sounds rotten. Poor you. Did you have any side effects after your first jab? Hope you feel better soon.

I felt full today after tea. I think suppression is hitting 😃. Week 1 - day 4.

Oh that's interesting. I am finished day 2 and kind of assumed if it hadn't fully hit, it wouldn't increase until next dose

Week 2 day 3 - feel the urge to resist yummy things slightly less than week 1. Anyone else?

Possibly slightly but I think suppression was best Monday and Tuesday for me. Will see how it goes

Can I ask how you have got the injections please? From Gp or other means? Tia

I am on day 6 today and only felt full from day 4. I am still hungry but feel full on smaller portions when I eat. I didn’t feel any different day 1-3.

I started this week with Asda. I ordered on Monday afternoon and picked up Weds afternoon.

Re. The vomiting - felt fine on the first jab, couple of waves of nausea but that was it!

My stomach is paining in hunger but I can’t keep anything down. Praying it is NOT like this tomorrow, with school runs and work thrown into the mix.

In answer to PP, no partner - raised them 100% alone. I’ve got through worse times (all 3 of us having d&v in the middle of night at the same time springs to mind 😅) so will be fine I’m sure

Joining in if I may. Took my first last night. Either it's a placebo effect causing greater will power, or it's working in some way already as I didn't fee hungry until mid afternoon.

Biggest thing I've noticed is a need to pee all the time.

I’m just looking forward to not giving a shiny shit about food!

I really have tried everything apart from surgery and I really didn’t want to do that.

Hi, I’ve just started taking Mounjaro. Hoping I can join this group? I’m typing this in bed at the end of Day 2. So far, no side effects 🤞🏼. I definitely felt less hungry today and ate about 50% of what I’d normally have. There also seems to be a lot less ‘food noise’ in my head, so no desire to snack at all. Early days though - let’s see how it … I have a lot to lose!

Oh no, I really hope it subsided for you, you poor thing. Do you think it might have been caused by anything you ate from the day before the injection? I don't mean in a food poisoning way, but I remember on another thread someone was saying they had diarrhoea and someone else was saying it could have been because they had battered fish and fried food and MJ really disagrees with anything fried. Either way, hope you feel better super soon x

I told my DH. It's just him and me and our toddler at home. I also told my sister as she was the one who helped me decide to go on MJ. Otherwise nobody knows and I won't be telling anyone either.
