@alwaysscared I'd do the jump to 5mg and be done, as @VelociraptorsVelociRapping advises, you are not even at the therapeutic dose and I know from reading, MJ only kicks in for some at 7.5mg. I started on 2.5mg with great success, not really enamoured with the 5mg (took the bonus dose on Monday) and have my 7.5mg pen there to start next week. I haven't experienced the suppression yet that people talk about, so hoping for great things from 7.5mg. [I am doing keto (high fat low carb) which makes me feel full and not hungry, so 2 meals a day and MJ is keeping me on track, so it is definitely working, I am just yet to experience "suppression"].
LoquaciousPineapple That sounds awful. My advice to you is to take a pro-biotic every day and see if tackling your gut health makes a difference. Also, see if you can increase your bile production to help digestion. Apple Cider Vinegar is great. I have gallstones, (diagnosed 12 years ago), so have worked very hard over the years by trying to preserve it and get my gallbladder to function as it should. Would a mini fast work for you do you think? Eat nothing, except liquids, to see if you can flush it out of your system?
Doggymummar I eat around 100g of protein a day which is just short of my macros. Food like beef (mince, steak, stew dishes); bacon, low carb sausages, prawns; fish; cream cheese, cheese and other meats are great for protein.
Loving your comments on the kefir and cottage cheese WeAllHaveWings. I love kefir - a good kale shake recipe is to blend 1 cup kefir; 1 cup water, 2 cups kale and 1 cup blueberries. So filling. I don't have it often as I can't tolerate the sugar in the blueberries too often (awful insulin resistance which I am trying to tackle with MJ and weight loss) but for those that eat berries, it really is a lovely healthy drink.
I am 21 pounds down since 2nd September. The first 14 pounds was in 4 weeks, so definitely looking forward to 7.5mg to see if I can step up a gear.
