Yeah I can't touch chocolate or sweets and I used to have them daily.

JomonotFomo · 12/10/2024 20:36

NSV I bought some new PJs in a 12-14 today. They are just right :)

AutumnStorms11 · 13/10/2024 07:45

Yeah limited sweet stuff here when I have had more I’ve felt crap two hours later and wished I hadn’t . I jabbed Friday and for the last three jabs I keep getting a headache a day later it’s not nice. One of the early benefits of MJ was they stopped my migraines I hadn’t had one for 3 months after suffering a lot of hormonal ones every other week. I hope this isn’t my hormones fighting back again as it’s putting me off taking it plus food noise is really craving carbs on days 4-7 I didn’t lose anything last week. I’ve definitely plateaued abit at my lowest adult weight for 30yrs. Yet I’m still bmi 26.5 so easily need to lose another 14lbs was my goal.

Megarea · 13/10/2024 08:23

So my scales have been complaining that battery is low for a while and I finally got around to changing the battery this morning.
Got on scales to find I'm 4lbs lighter than I thought!
Revised current weight 211.8 lbs so total loss so far is 40.8lbs

I am so close to having lost 3 stone now!

daffodilandtulip · 13/10/2024 10:02

🚨🚨 Ladies, I am now officially overweight and not obese AND my weight starts with a 10 🚨🚨

I've been through my watch health data, and my resting heart rate is around 62, instead of about 90; other random things it measures like stair speed and a six minute walk are all massively increased, and I couldn't tell you the last time I felt a palpitation. I'm so happy!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 13/10/2024 10:04

Oh @daffodilandtulip that's FANTASTIC!! I am so happy for you!!
@Megarea bloody brilliant! 😂

JomonotFomo · 13/10/2024 12:00

Brilliant @daffodilandtulip and @Megarea

VioletsHeart · 13/10/2024 18:48

Well done @daffodilandtulip and @Megarea !

I have a question for those of us who have started to move down through sizes more rapidly. This has never happened for me before. I excitedly bought new trousers at the beginning of Sept. It was time for new ones. I was in danger of flashing every time I moved. But the thing is I’m now swimming in them. What?! How!? I mean great but also how have I dropped another dress size in five weeks? During which time I had a stall.
So the question is how to manage it? I’ve never dropped more than from tight one size to loose size below (honestly before rising again)
Should I basically not buy anything new until I’m stable?

Vinted is your new friend. I work in leggings and tops so got two work tops, three nice tops and one pair of jeans. I pushed through with the leggings until they would go over my bra 😂. I guess if you're on the office, it's trickier!

Megarea · 13/10/2024 19:04

Totally agree with @daffodilandtulip I've only bought things from Vinted/charity shops and that's worked well for me so far

AutumnStorms11 · 14/10/2024 07:33

After 2 weeks of gaining & losing the same 1lb some movement on the scales only the next number but the scales flashed lower then stopped. I’ve found with these Renpho ones they do this & normally I’m lower next time. This last 14lbs is going to take to at least Xmas at this rate I thought it would get slow but previously I’d have given up.

AutumnStorms11 · 14/10/2024 07:34

On the clothes chat I tend to buy from Sainsburys or Amazon of all places recently. I got a couple pairs of leggings & nice running top from there

JomonotFomo · 14/10/2024 08:00

I buy all my stuff from charity shops and Vinted or I sew it. I gave up on the high street many years ago, mainly because of my taste vs the cost 😂

I made a terrible mistake last night of having a couple of crumpets in the evening and am paying for it this morning.

achangeofnameisasgoodasarest · 14/10/2024 09:39

You are all doing so well! I am in awe!

finding it painfully slow at the moment. However, a little bit of a whoosh down this morning and now I am 11 stone something (a lot of something but it still counts right!) I was 14 something when I started.

We had a talk at our church yesterday from an addiction counsellor which was really interesting about what addiction feels like and how to break it. I really felt like this little injection has managed that for me - at least while I take it ...! Miraculous.

TheShellBeach · 14/10/2024 10:20

I buy second hand stuff on Ebay.
It's not worth getting lots of new clothes, when they only last a matter of weeks.

LionAndEmperor13 · 14/10/2024 11:33

Second hand all the way. I prefer Vinted to ebay but both are great really. I also love charity shopping.
However I was slim all through my 20s and early 30s and have kept lots of clothes, so I'm now rediscovering some lovely things that have been stored away for a long time!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 14/10/2024 11:51

@AutumnStorms11 how frustrating! My scales flashed a tantalising lower number yesterday and then settled firmly dead on 13st 7 and refused to move! I will take it though as that is 4 stone since I started the fast800 at the end of May!!!
@JomonotFomo how's the morning going? 😬
@achangeofnameisasgoodasarest whoop whoop for the 11s!🎉

Clothes wise, I am coping with the size 18 jeans that I had from losing weight 3 years ago (well ignore the fact I have to pull them up continuously and the crotch is halfway to my knees😂🤦‍♀️ ). Have had to buy some new black trousers though as have a funeral this week and just don't have anything else!

I need to look at Vinted again as currently have a large washing basket on my bedroom is full of clothes that are too big (too many with the labels on that I have just missed the 'window' on!!)

A friend who I haven't seen for ages told me today that I'd lost a lot of weight!
Yay!

I didn't mention the MJ.........

Snozzlemaid · 14/10/2024 13:34

Well done @mjdle that's brilliant. What a difference!

fairydust11 · 14/10/2024 14:20

Wow @mjdle that’s fantastic, you can really see the difference!

LionAndEmperor13 · 14/10/2024 14:30

I’m having a tough month - not watching my diet properly so keep losing and regaining the same few pounds. I’m nearly at 3 stone loss which is amazing but I have another 8-10 stone to go so need to get back on it.

I just took my last 10mg shot yesterday and I’m moving up to 12.5mg next so hope that will give me a boost.

Sorry to hear you're not good atm. I'm in the same boat, my daughters mental health has taken a turn for the worse and we go on holiday next week so im just focusing on maintaining until we get back

Callmejudith · 14/10/2024 15:30

OMG @mjdle that is absolutely brilliant! Wow!

Reporting in after a fairly heavy birthday weekend. Actually didn't drink that much but it was fun and I wore a dress on Saturday night which I absolutely love that has a zip up the back - I got it on without undoing the zip so I think that might be going into the too big pile!

Wow @mjdle amazing pics.

sorry you dd is struggling @QueenEthelTheMagnificent i sympathise we are having lots of difficulties with our youngest teen and the amount of stress im carrying is really impacting me with an increased need for sugar that without MJ would be awful to handle so the fact I’m holding steady is amazing really. I hope you can enjoy your holiday still.
