I completely overate yesterday - not sure what got into me but the biscuits and sweets were flowing into my mouth - I feel bleurgh today for it.

I’ve used MFP daily for months free version I’d not noticed the bar code thing needs paying for I guess I’m just using all my previously logged favourites so not used it for a while. It helps me even now as yesterday didn’t think I’d eaten much as snacked instead of lunch but I’d hit 1500c when I logged it all in the evening. I’d done some exercise so it was 1200net but it surprised me how easily I’d gone over when I really thought I hadn’t. But then that’s one of the reasons ended up fat!

daffodilandtulip · 08/10/2024 06:53

@Splendud I use MyNetDiary. There are some premium features but if you press the cross in the corner, you can just use the diary, food scanner and weigh charts.

I didn't lose last week and had already ordered a 7.5 pen because I felt it was still working. I kept getting hungry at the end of the week, so I counted the clicks to increase to 10 on Saturday.

I've already lost 2lb ... a total of 34lbs now in 16 weeks!! That's 18% of my body weight!!

Callmejudith · 08/10/2024 07:09

That’s great @daffodilandtulip

I feel like I’ve definitely got more sweet treats creeping in which I need to curb - mainly by telling DH not to buy them! I’ve still not had a Diet Coke though since June and I’m very chuffed with myself on that one

daffodilandtulip · 08/10/2024 07:13

Yes @Callmejudith I've always been obsessed with Coke Zero, drinking it all day everyday. I knew it was the worst part of my diet, definitely contributing to my palpitations and swollen legs.

Couldn't tell you when I last had any (except for with dinner on holiday!). It just vanished overnight.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 08/10/2024 07:24

@Callmejudith I had a day like that last week. I was munching chocolate on the sofa watching tv. In the past this was a daily occurrence. In this instance, it was just a day (fuelled by months of stress) and I think I just 'needed it'. Hope you felt better

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 08/10/2024 07:24

Anyone noticing shoes getting baggy? It hadn't even occurred to me this would be a thing, but my trainers are falling off even after being tightened up and my feet slide about in them.

Pashazade · 08/10/2024 08:10

@Sewfrickinamazeballs yes feet shrinking is a thing! It happened when I lost 4st about 20 years ago. I may have snuck a pair of boots back out of the charity shop bag, the other day, that went in before I took the decision to do Mounjaro and I know they'll fit better in a couple of months. They were too tight. 😁

Hi @AutumnStorms11 - I use Nutracheck and have done for years. I use the paid version (I’m not actually sure if there’s a free version). It’s £34.99 for an annual membership and you can try it free for a week

@Callmejudith Diet Coke is the caffeine addiction I haven't managed to kick! Although have gone to one can a day from about 4 so counting that as a win😬.

Shoes (and jewellery) I haven't been able to wear in ages is brilliant!

Ordering 10 this week have decided to go up and hope that it kicks back in, put 4lbs back on since Saturday, decorating and drinking more - although hoping some of it is muscle mass as weight training 3/4 times a week now. 🤞🤞

Greyrockin · 08/10/2024 08:32

Speaking of things shrinking, my surgery have been busy updating my bmi records since I’ve started Mounjaro and they seem to think I’ve shrunk height wise in the last year or so…. It’s a bit bizarre. I’m actually 163 cm, and definitely wasn’t 161cm in 2017.

The notes state “calculation based on height entry 13-Mar-2023, NB prior to age 70 average height loss is 1cm per 10 years

I use the free version ( w ads and weekly offers for “half price” premium) of LoseIt and love it

VioletsHeart · 08/10/2024 09:09

A momentous morning for me. I am, just about 4 months in, following weekly jabs, controlled diet, much exercise, for the first time in since my 20s in the 9sts. 9st 13.4lb to be exact.
I’m grinning / teary.
I have failed to get into the nines on very diet since my late 20s. Didn’t even manage it for my wedding. And with the right help I have.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 08/10/2024 10:43

@VioletsHeart oh, that's fantastic! I'm so happy for you. What a fab milestone

QueenEthelTheMagnificent · 08/10/2024 10:57

Feeling bleurgh today. My first period in 10 months I'm blaming the MJ.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 08/10/2024 11:05

Oh @VioletsHeart that's incredible! Well done you!! ❤️

Callmejudith · 08/10/2024 12:20

@VioletsHeart massive massive well done - I felt a bit teary at your post! You must feel amazing.

Hi everyone, it’s been ages since I checked into the June thread, sounds like we are all smashing it! 💪

Ive lost 50lbs now! I’ve just stepped up to 7.5mg after 12 weeks on 5. The suppression seems much stronger for me, I hadn’t realised how much it had gradually dropped on 5! I had a bit of a humbling experience earlier when I tried on some old size 20 non-stretchy tops and they didn’t fit, not even close! It’s taking forever for my clothes size to drop down, I was a 22 when I first started (realistically probably a 24) and I’m so frustrated that 50lbs later I’m still not getting into all my 20’s! Anybody else moving down the sizes slowly??

Snozzlemaid · 08/10/2024 18:54

Yes, me too.
I've lost just over 50lbs now too but not seen much of a difference in clothes size yet.
I was mostly wearing size 20/22 (but was most likely nearer to 24 if I'm honest) when I started and a lot still fits me. It must have all been so stretched as I can see I am smaller.
I wfh and spend most of the week in Asda's thick control leggings. My 22s have only just now got too baggy so I ordered some 18s at the weekend and they fit!
This is the biggest change I've had on clothes.
I'm expecting quicker changes as I get smaller though, thinking of the kitchen roll analogy.

Merryoldgoat · 08/10/2024 19:55

@OrangeWire

Yes. I’m 40lb down and only just starting to look slimmer and clothes are pretty much the same size - just comfier. Size 24/26 when I started. Probably a small 24 now (ha!) but it is what it is. I’m feeling so much better that I’m concentrating on that

OrangeWire · 08/10/2024 21:58

Obviously it’s annoying but I’m glad it’s not just me 😂 I work from home mostly too so I spend a lot of time in leggings/jeggings and I noticed that both (size 22) were starting to look baggy so I’m hoping I can manage until I’d be ready to order a size 18, at this rate it will be forever though 😂 I think realistically I was a 24 and just lived in very stretchy size 22 clothes so I suppose I have dropped almost 2 sizes really.

Callmejudith · 09/10/2024 07:48

Im starting to see a lot more loose skin on my stomach which isn’t great - though only DH sees it and he doesn’t care or probably won’t notice

I did have a dream last night that my MJ stash was in danger of being discovered and I was running around with about a million needles 😁

OP posts:
Splendud · 09/10/2024 07:57

Lost another pound this morning making 2.5 st on MJ and half a stone before so 3 stones in total. I also dropped into a new stone bracket - somewhere I haven't been since 2018. Next challenge is another 12lbs which would see me lighter than I was in 2014.

I've found a few things feel too baggy now but haven't really dropped a size yet. Like PPs I was probably at least a size bigger but managing to fit into stretchier clothes in the size below. I also think sizing is mad and I have things in every size from 20 to 26 that I wear regularly. My 22s and 24s are fitting much better now so I think the 24s might not last much longer.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 09/10/2024 08:01

@Callmejudith love the vivid dream! 😂 Inthink my fear is that none of this this is real and I’m going to wake up back where I started 😩 Definitely lots of loose skin here 🤦‍♀️
@Splendud whoohoo!!! 🎉🎉🎉

JomonotFomo · 09/10/2024 08:53

@Callmejudith i have lots of loose skin on my stomach. I ballooned in the final weeks of my first pregnancy (24yrs ago!) and went from no stretch marks to no skin left overnight. I’ve lost a lot of weight maybe 4 times over those 24yrs and each time I wrangle with the actual in someways I look better fat. I obviously don’t but it’s gutting.

I have been hovering between 12.6 and 12.7 over the last two weeks. I think my body tried to hold on at this point before.
