Week 32 - just managed to scrape a pound. My body doesn't seem to want to shift anymore. I have increased my exercise though so it could be the old muscle weighs more argument. I've noticed my belly stretch marks feel super smooth which is making me happy.

SW 15th June 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 9st 12lb BMI 26.9

Total loss 3st 9lb (51lb)
27% body weight

Dithercats · 25/01/2025 11:02

No idea what week we are on.
SW 78kg
Cw 53 kg
Need to maintain now....every time I've lost weight previously it's gone back on over a few years 🙄 my weight has barely moved in the last month so I think it's my body saying enough now.

daffodilandtulip · 25/01/2025 12:00

I think this too @Dithercats

VioletsHeart · 25/01/2025 14:04

I’ve allowed myself a shopping trip.

From starting in June it took me three months and 25lbs to drop a jeans size.

Another 10 weeks and 18lbs another dress size.

So how have I dropped another dress size in my last 5lbs?!

I really thought I was a comfortable 12 trousers and that was where I was going to remain.

But my beautiful size 12 Sienna Miller barrel jeans are hanging off me.

I’ve spent the morning trying on dozens of pairs of trousers and tops.

And I am a size 8 top and 10 bottom.

This was always the dream. But I never saw it actually happening.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 25/01/2025 22:41

@VioletsHeart oh wow! How incredible for you (other than the beautiful jeans no longer fitting!)!!🎉

VioletsHeart · 26/01/2025 06:46

Thanks @IReallyNeedThisToWork

It was strangely unnerving.

I bought a new swimsuit in the sale recently having been wearing my very saggy baggy old ones all throughout weight loss. They have been getting steadily more comedic/depressing to wear. Wearing the correct size does this weird thing of shrinking my perception of my body. But it only lasts whilst I’m wearing the smaller swimsuit.

Yesterday in clothes that fit the same thing. A real oh wow moment. Really I’m that small? But a bit of a brain f**k to be honest.

To the extent I didn’t buy much. Bras because they’re desperately needed and a white t-shirt.

I have lost 1lb this week and now up to 4st 10.5lb lost since June. This will be the longest I have stuck to weight loss ever! I started C25K again (I have done it a few times and completed it fully in 2022) and could really notice the difference in my body from my other heavier starting points.

Next goal is a number starting with 10, and that is so so close! Then 3.5lb to my 5stone and about 5.5lb to a bmi of 25!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 26/01/2025 09:48

@VioletsHeart I totally get that. I’ve been lying on a beach today (I know, lucky me😁) thinking and wondering when I will get used to my reflection! Not really even all of me, but my head and shoulders or even just my face. I’ve cut a lot of my hair off recently and don’t have a hairdryer here so it’s pretty curly and I just don’t really look like me!

I mean, I do know it’s me in the mirror but I just can’t wrap my brain around it. Gonna take me a while…

Woohoo I've broken the 4 stone 🙌 it's taken 34 weeks and I am beyond happy. 57lbs lost in total. Next target is 11st. I had a bit of a woosh this week after losing 1lb each week for a couple of weeks to losing 4lbs this week. So weird how that happens but I'm just so happy. Has made my Monday morning a good one. Goodluck with all the weigh ins this week everyone. This post is so inspiring. To see people in the 9 and 10 stones is incredible. Something I never thought possible but you're all keeping me going xx

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 27/01/2025 06:50

@Newme24 yay! Fantastic loss!

AutumnStorms11 · 27/01/2025 07:03

Well done @Newme24 fab losses.

this is my first Monday not jabbing I’m nervous but positive I can maintain but honestly I’m dreading my sweet tooth for chocolate returning. I’ve had virtually none in 8 months just turned off it. Strangely my DH consumption of chocolate has increased but he’s super slim runner however it does mean chocolate is in the house should I weaken.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 28/01/2025 07:00

Been quiet the last couple of weeks, weight still creeping off slowly but the nausea and vomiting has kicked back in and I'm just at the point where I can't take this bit anymore. I've been on 10mg for around 10 weeks, I'm eating well so don't think it's that, but the two days after a jab and I feel awful. I am even leaving it 8 days between but that's not helping. I'm not sure if I should drop down to say 5mgs (using my 10mg pen) and see if this helps or go cold turkey and come off completely, both options scare me!

spottydogsarethebest · 28/01/2025 09:49

Today I'm officially no longer obese! I'm thrilled.

I've lost 5st 2lbs since June 7th.

I'm 4lbs lighter than my husband too which I think I'm the most happy about- his jeans fit me!

Would like to lose another 2 stone, already starting to worry about maintenance.

AutumnStorms11 · 28/01/2025 10:14

For me personally I’d reduce your dose and stretch it out for a couple of weeks say 9d @Sewfrickinamazeballs it does build up in your system but I’m not medical purely personal thoughts based on my own journey. I never went higher than 5mg and stayed on 3mg for weeks still losing as that was the right balance for my system.

AutumnStorms11 · 28/01/2025 10:20

That’s brilliant @spottydogsarethebest I think I’m finally around the same weight as my DH now too. But he’s a ultra runner and just lean muscle 😂

LionAndEmperor13 · 28/01/2025 12:58

Just for anyone nearing the end of their jabs: My last dose was 16th December and I've managed to maintain since then. Even lost a pound this week!!

Merryoldgoat · 28/01/2025 13:24

I’ve hit 4st this week! I’m so happy. Not as fast as many but it’s amazing for me. I actually can imagine getting to a healthy weight.

I’ve lost 10 points from my BMI and I’ve gone from a 24/26 to a 22.

I have so much more energy and feel so much better. I’m still very fat but I look human shaped - I’d started to look like a big ball and it was really hard to see.

AutumnStorms11 · 29/01/2025 07:11

We’ll done @Merryoldgoat 4st is a huge achievement.

daffodilandtulip · 29/01/2025 08:28

Is anyone else bloody freezing? Not the shivers that you might get as a side effect the day after a jab but literally absolutely freezing all the time?!

Daughter gave me a backhanded compliment when she said it's because you're not fat anymore - she's teeny and we've always argued about me wanting the heating off 😂

Time4changeagain · 29/01/2025 08:59

@daffodilandtulip
Yes! I’m frozen all the time lately 🥶I just can not get warm, heating on full and I’m wearing an oodie, a hoodie, T-shirt leggings and joggers! Still end up with electric blanket and quilt over me too 😂

AutumnStorms11 · 29/01/2025 11:12

Yes I’ve lost my insulated fat layer so wear a vest then a thermal top then t-shirt plus fleece most days min of 4 layers especially when sitting still at my desk working plus a woolly hat when not on calls.

Megarea · 30/01/2025 21:01

Third dose of fourth 10mg pen today.
SW 252.6 lb
CW 194.4 lb
Total loss: 58.2 lbs

In the 13s, I'm so chuffed!

I've ordered some thermal tops 😨

I'm pissed off now because I've had a couple of "don't lose anymore weight, you'll look ill." A) none of your business B) I like how I look C) I'm technically still fat. I had precisely two nice comments about losing weight but suddenly it's ok to comment.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 31/01/2025 09:15

Really cold all the time and not helped by just returning from 2 weeks of 30 degrees!! The heated blanket and two Frenchies seem to help!

Week whatever it is 32? weigh in…
lost a pound which I’m really pleased with considering I was up 5 after my flight on Wednesday!!

Fast800 SW: 17st 7lbs
MJ SW: 16st 12lbs
CW: 11st 2lbs!!!!

Had a few fairly major NSVs from the last couple of weeks!

  1. my suitcase was full of size 14s!
  2. I wore shorts every day (don’t think I’ve worn shorts in public since I was a child!!)
  3. I climbed down a waterfall (and back up!!)
  4. I climbed off and onto the side of a boat in the middle of the sea!
  5. I posted a full length photo of myself on social media!!! (which prompted several messages from people saying how amazing I looked🤦🏼‍♀️)

I have also had comments from both sons about said photo - one how proud he was of me that I allowed someone to take a photo of me and one that it was the first time he could remember me sending him a photo of me doing something.

Made me cry.

I don’t think I ever realised the impact my size/weight/mental state must have had on my kids over the years.

And now I’m crying again…

coffeeandteav · 01/02/2025 07:27
