Have you tried taking a screenshot of your MedExpress order history as proof? Go to Your Account / Order History and your orders should be listed along with your name and address.

Edited to add that this worked for me when I changed providers.

Edited

Yes I tried that. It said it wasn’t proof that it had been prescribed solely for me 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s rubbish. Have they said what they will accept as proof? All my MJ prescriptions are noted in my NHS app under my GP record, maybe that might work?
I moved from Med Express to IQ Doctor and they’ve been good. They accepted the screenshot I think.

Happy New Year to all Moun-Juners. Here's to another great year for us all.

Weigh in this morning shows I've put on 3lbs over the last 2 weeks.
But that's fine, I've not watched what I've eaten. I've not tracked calories, have had a few chocolates, desserts and carbs so it was to be expected.
My original jab day was Wednesday but I changed it to Thursday at the beginning of December for a number of reasons. But I'm going back to Wednesdays from today so I can jab a day early this week. I feel like I need to get back on it from today.

I've got about 3 stone still to lose to be a healthy BMI so I'm aiming on working hard on this over the winter and am looking forward to not being a big sweaty mess anymore when the summer arrives.

LionAndEmperor13 · 01/01/2025 12:32

@Snozzlemaid I'm about the same, last MJ jab was 16th December (and it was a teeny dose, the last dregs of my bonus dose which I split into 2). I've put on just 2lbs since then which I'm quite happy about. I plan to lose that in the next couple of weeks. I've had some chocolates and definitely more food in general over Christmas, which is to be expected!
I was right at my goal weight before Christmas so hopefully I'll be back on track soon.

thesugarbumfairy · 01/01/2025 16:47

Happy New Year everyone! My weight loss has slowed to a crawl. I would have like to hit my long term goal before the 1 year mark (I'll still be overweight by BMI standards) but realistically its not going to happen.
So I'm just going to plod on this year, and be pleased with the fact that I started 2025 53 pounds lighter than I started 2024. Woo!

JomonotFomo · 02/01/2025 17:26

@thesugarbumfairy mine has really slowed down too, I’ve basically maintained for a month, which I guess is good for Christmas.

I gained 2lb over Christmas but I’m 1lb down again so I wouldn’t really call it a gain more fluctuations. I’ve been known to gain 10lb over Christmas so I am pretty pleased.

I’m 4st4lb down, and I think I have about 1.5 to go

Megarea · 02/01/2025 19:16

Bonus dose of third 10mg pen today.
SW 252.6 lb
CW 198.4 lb
Total loss: 54.2 lbs

Lost the 2lbs that went on over Christmas pleasingly and tantalisingly close to 4 stone lost.

mjdle · 03/01/2025 10:05

Anyone else using med express? They are making it really difficult to use price match, I was gonna buy one last pen to see me through but not sure anymore, very scared to go it alone. I'm only 6lbs from my final goal weight.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 03/01/2025 17:15

@Impossiblyme hello, and happy new year to you too. Amazing loss, well done. Couldn't agree with you more on this being a game changer.

@Snozzlemaid 3lbs is nothing, especially over Xmas. Also looking forward to the summer for a change (rather than dreading it and just waiting for baggy jumper season again)

@thesugarbumfairy 53lbs is ace!

Well done everyone. I put on 2lb over Xmas but that's come off again this week so stalled basically. This would have been a huge gain in the past so pleased overall.

Sticking to 10mgs for now, finally not being sick every week but hunger back a bit and I expect my weight loss to slow down, but hopefully keep going.

Currently 12 1.3 from a starting weight of 17st 7 something. I'm closer to my goal of 10st than I am to my starting weight!

Anyone else have achey hips? Apparently it can be caused from them working overtime for so long carrying the weight and becoming hyper mobile. They are so achey all the time now.

Life is throwing lots of lemons at me at the moment, but apart from the odd quality street, I'm holding out from eating my feelings which feels great.

Hope everyone is ok

Megarea · 03/01/2025 17:35

@Sewfrickinamazeballs I have had really acheyhips and legs recently so that's interesting it could be the weight loss

thesugarbumfairy · 03/01/2025 20:52

@Sewfrickinamazeballs you've lost so much!!! I'm jealous :)

i already had achy hips ( I have osteoarthritis - my right hip was replaced two years ago) so its hard to comment on that really.

My other hip and back are actually much improved since losing the weight, although if i overdo it, the pain returns, because I haven't 'fixed' it obviously, I've just taken off some of the pressure. I do find less padding on my backside means my bum gets uncomfortable with sitting more quickly!

Maybe look at the Oushk Flex maintenance plan if you can afford it?

daffodilandtulip · 04/01/2025 12:07

Week 29 and following three weeks of socialising, fancy meals, alcohol, sugary drinks and sitting on my arse - I've gained 2lbs. Holding onto the fact that I've still lost FORTY NINE POUNDS this year and how I looked on photos compared to last Christmas.

I know that once I'm back to work, normal eating and no alcohol, it'll vanish again. (To be honest, I just feel like I need a big poo 🙈🤣.) I hardly bought any of the usual crap that I do, and there's nothing left hanging around in the kitchen like it normally is. I usually do well over 12,000 steps a day when working, and I'm not on AL now until Easter, so I know it'll be ok.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 04/01/2025 12:22

Hello and happy new year all! Congrats on all losses, maintains and small gains🎉🎉😁 Been a crazy few weeks!

Did my week 28 weigh in on Thursday and was frankly pissed off to see the same numbers on the scale as the previous 2 weeks! 😡

BUT, this morning I am down a pound and THIS has happened!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😁😁😁😁😁

Just bought two pairs of size 12 jeans from the charity shop and they fit!!

Snozzlemaid · 04/01/2025 14:02

Brilliant @IReallyNeedThisToWork How fantastic, I can't wait to get there.

I'm now back at the same weight I was on Christmas Eve. Happy with that as I've not tracked what I've eaten over Christmas and definitely ate more than usual. A few days back on track has got rid of the 3lbs I had put on.

JomonotFomo · 05/01/2025 11:24

I weighed in this morning at 11st 5lb! Which is 4.5stone gone! And 28% of me!

My next goal is to get to 11st
then get to 5st loss at 10st 12
then 10st 10lb is a bmi of 25 and something I last saw in 2002. And it’s all so close! I’m only 9lb overweight!!

I also realised today that my waist has gone from 40.9inches to 32.9 which is I think top end of healthy range for women which is great.

Gazelda · 05/01/2025 22:17

Back to real life tomorrow.

I've been on MJ since 20 June and lost 45lb. Everything was going so well until late Nov when marriage hit the rocks big time. I've been on and off jabs since then. Carb overload over Christmas and total loss of control. I'm the same weight now as I was mid Nov which frustrates me. I'm on 10ml which no longer suppresses my appetite.

My plan is to get stuck in seriously from tomorrow. Calorie count. Drink loads of water. Try to fit in some exercise. If that doesn't get me back on track, maybe I need to go up to 12.5.

I need to invest in myself.

Callmejudith · 06/01/2025 13:59

Happy New Year everyone! Have just caught up on the thread and it looks like Christmas was pretty good for most of you and the weight is still coming off! Good work all!

I have been off MJ for almost a month now and actually doing pretty well. I was a bit feral over Christmas but definitely ate and drank a LOT less than previous years. This is the first January in a decade that I've not felt horrific and beating myself up about my weight. Have already been to the gym 4 times since New Year.

I would say the food noise is back but not half as bad as pre MJ and I second a PP that I just know now that I don't need all the snacks, though the evenings have been tricky but I think it's sheer boredom tbh. Back in work/school routine today which I'm hoping will help with that

Have loved catching up on this thread. Haven't updated In about a month! TBH I was taking the jabs but not losing and then had a bit of a break for a week when family were over then delayed some jabs over Xmas because of events etc. However I have weighed today and still managed to lose over the Christmas break! So amazed.

CW 11st 11
SW 15st 6

My aim was to be 11.7 for Christmas so that's now shifted to by the end of Jan 🙏

Well done everyone xx

mjdle · 06/01/2025 15:15

In case anyone is fed up with their current provider, I just switched from med express to pharmacy 2U, the process was fast and simple plus got new user discount 🙂

mjdle · 06/01/2025 20:47

daffodilandtulip · 29/12/2024 18:22

A bit annoyed today as I tried to switch providers to save some money, but they won’t accept the email order from MedExpress and I don’t have the label the last one came with.

I grabbed a screenshot of the letter MedExpress send to the docs from my NHS app, pharmacy 2U accepted that x

daffodilandtulip · 07/01/2025 07:24

@mjdle oh thank you! I've never really used the GP or meds so I've been through all the rigmarole of setting up an account, to find you are right!

BemusedBrenda · 08/01/2025 09:57

I've just been catching up on the thread, well done everyone over Christmas! I was similar to a lot of you in that I didn't deprive myself, ate some treats but a lot less than previous years and STS which I was happy with.

Last week I ordered another pen with ZAVA, I was 1lb under bmi 25 (!!) and they approved it with no questions asked. This will be my last pen from them before titrating down (I want a few lbs buffer rather than stopping at bmi 25) so I'm looking at maintenance in a few weeks which feels quite surreal!

SW on MJ: 15st11 (bmi 32)
CW: 12st1 (bmi 24.5)

I lost 6lbs before starting the MJ so my total weight loss is 58lbs. I am currently wearing some size 14 jeans out of the loft that haven't fit me for a very long time!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 08/01/2025 16:49

Congratulations @BemusedBrenda!! Amazing to slide under that final hurdle!!
